The staff at this dealership were not only dishonest, but also put people's health in danger. I made an appointment to see a specific car, listed on their website, only to be misled by at least three people regarding the car's availability. The first person to lie was the online sales representative the evening before my scheduled appointment. The second person to lie about the car's availability was one of the salespeople who texted me the day of my appointment. The third person to lie was a different salesperson who "looked up" the car on his computer, took out a set of keys for the test-drive I had booked, and then told me—after I stood in the cold parking lot for 10 mins—that the car had been sold two days earlier. The absurdity of taking keys out for a car that doesn't exist is baffling and insulting to one's intelligence. I suppose it's possible the dealership keeps a set of keys for cars they've sold off their lot, but if that's the case I'd suggest they inform their customers of this practice.

The best-case scenario is that the first two salespeople simply didn't look up the car's availability before booking a test-drive with me. This would also mean that the information on their website was outdated. I can appreciate that mistakes happen, but one would assume that when a customer (who is willing to pay thousands of dollars on the spot to buy a specific car on your lot) is interested in your product, at least one of two salespeople would realize that the product was already sold. There is no excuse for the third salesperson who, in the unenviable position of trying to make a test-drive with a nonexistent car happen, lied to my face. The worst-case scenario is that the sales team lured me into the dealership knowing the car I wanted didn't exist and lied to me repeatedly. From reading other reviews, my gut tells me this is may be a common practice at this Nissan dealership.

This distasteful behaviour was made worse by the fact that when I arrived, I waited over 40 minutes. My partner and I were anxious about going to a public place unnecessarily; however, we felt it was important to buy a car in order to limit our potential exposure to the coronavirus on public transportation. I would never have gone to a dealership and sat in a public space for 40 minutes had I known this car was unavailable. This total disregard for my time and health makes me question their ethics when dealing with people's money. It was also disconcerting that one of their managers did not pick up on social cues when speaking to us. As I tried to maintain a normal amount of physical distance, he kept closing that gap. Some people are close talkers, normally that wouldn't bother me, but given the pandemic and the fact that he deals with the public all day long it surprised me that he couldn't maintain a regular social distance let alone 6 feet.

My experience with the Nissan dealership was awful, even for a car dealership. Nonetheless, I'm glad I had this experience before purchasing anything. It was disheartening to come home and read all the reviews of people who've spent thousands of dollars only to be disappointed.

I had wanted a new vehicle for a long time and after a lot of research I found myself looking at a couple of Nissans. I went in for a test drive of a couple different ones. Tom (da bomb!), the sales person was so wonderful! He was so easy to speak with and I was comfortable with him pretty soon after meeting him. We decided to get a vehicle right then and there. I mean, we were there anyways!
Egilio the finance manager helped us figure out the right plan for us. He went into all the costs and benefits, and helped steer us in the right direction of financing the car. When I didn't understand the numbers, his acting assistant (my husband) understood fully what Egilio was laying out and let me know (I kind of black out when it comes to numbers).
The staff was great and I look forward to many years with my new car! Thank you Mcphillips Nissan!

Started out with a good test drive and an enjoyable bit of dealing. After buying the vehicle (and having my check certified for the first time in my life) we found that it did not have the heated steering wheel that it was advertised to have. Dealership filled it with gas to compensate. Most dealerships fill a vehicle anyway. Tried to connect the Bluetooth system at the dealership with no luck. Sales Rep was to investigate. Turns out it does not work and probably needs a module. This was an advertised feature as well. This would have been a dealbreaker had we known. Sent them a text suggesting that an advertised feature should work and asked them how they would like to deal with this. Absolutely no response. Too bad. Turned a good experience into a bad experience.

Terrible customer service experience. I went to the dealership intending to purchase a new vehicle which I already knew all the features and details. At first i was helped by a new employee who actually help me to see how my business was underestimated and had nothing to do with the final outcome of my first and only embarrassment doing a business in Winnipeg so far.
There was a lot of miss communication and most of all negligence from sales person named Shane towards my purchase. After been presented with a different proposition and our decline of it ,the financial manager did not want to give our deposit money back and started the conversation yelling at us from a far distance instead of approaching respectfully and after I showed him how rude he was behaving, he started to talk in a lower tone, but even though there was no need to all of that. This episode was so surreal but at the end did not stop us to purchase the same vehicle from a different @Nissan.ca dealership.
At first I hesitated do describe my experience when it happened ( feb 2020) , but after realizing that such a thing might help Nissan to enhance strong standards and make the customer experience as first priority in all the dealerships under the same brand name.

If you are thinking about getting your car repair checked up at their service center, DONT! I had my vehicle checked up regarding on engine check light issue last year and specifically mentioned the symptoms when I dropped my keys off, they only checked up on One issue that I had and not the other one which is related to the one that they checked up on. And when I mentioned it over the phone and when I actually went to pick up my vehicle, they were pointing fingers to each others for the blames and no apologies and nothing has been done to resolve the issues. And of course I had to pay for the diagnostic fee (which I was aware of) AND bring my car again for another issue that I have a week later for another diagnosis with additional diagnostic fee. I cant say anything about their technicians but the “ service coordinator or service managers” are not taking care of their customers. I should have taken advice from previous reviews here about their service and should have went somewhere else.

I would not even give them one star but no other option. Terrible service. Charged for “Nissan Advantage” which I didn’t want but said I have no option, later to find out that it’s actually an illegal charge of $798. First was a leaking tire (highway driver) and they could not find anything wrong with the tire after a 2 hr waiting in their shop, went back a week later and I told them that I was not leaving until my tire was fixed. Sat for another 2 1/2 hrs and boom— nail in my tire. Nothing but starting troubles within the first year. Battery replaced last year and now truck would not start in -15. Want to charge me a diagnostic charge and I told them I will not pay for that. Phoned me back 10 mins later and said that they will give me a free battery test, of course you will the battery is brand new. Everything is a charge no matter what you bring it in for. As a female I always make sure no matter what is wrong with my truck I research it so they can’t over talk me. Never again Nissan

I made an appointment last week and when I come in the day of the appointment, they tell me that my appointment was scheduled in 2 days, meanwhile I came down all the way to the dealership to miss work and yet they tell me they cant take me in the shop because they are full.... VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICE and a lady with blonde hair that works there, usually has it up in a ponytail, was very rude about it instead of simply helping me squeeze in.

Went to get my hood cable fixed as it was stuck due to corrosion buildup which is normal due to the materials of the mechanisms. Service technician was very rude, the receptionist was very unprofessional when she asked what my mileage was and after telling her the exact numeric value, she didn't believe me. Why would I lie about the odometer reading? Anyways, the problem was fixed and all the technician did was apply a lubricant on the said corroded part. Charged me $80, and this is during my warranty period. They didn't even asked me first, just a surprise message at the end and they kept my keys / car hostage unless I pay. Paid them $80 and vowed that I will never return to this maliciously run company by a bunch of greedy people. Don't bring your vehicles here.

Easy deal with McPhillips Nissan and Nav Bains! I called as a potential customer, as was interested in exact car. I was transferred to a sales ambassador Nav Bains, I schedule a test-drive in a few hours. Nav allowed me to inspect the car, to look inside and outside, as much as I wanted. During test-drive there was no tons of questions from Nav, he let me feel and enjoy my potential car. So I purchased exactly what i was looking for (Model\year\trim\color\mileage). Purchasing process was simple and easy. Finance managers Adriano and David provided me with all the papers for registration. No pressure at all. So fast and easy deal!

Tried to order some parts to my car. They never post prices on their website, so they make you call or email them. Tried to email them just to find out the price for the parts. First, they said that they could easily tell me the price once I give them my contact information but then asked for my VIN number and in the end they just said that I had to call them to order the parts. I just wanted to learn the price! Why does it have to be so complicated?! The entire process took a couple of weeks for nothing

As another reviewer mentioned here, sales are awesome service was terrible. I went here for an oil change then all of a sudden it turned into a $240 bill. Extra charges for tire rotation (that usually comes for free with other shops) and $60 to change cabin filters? I mean cmon! They take out the filters to show you its dirty then of course you agree to change it but an extra $60 labour fee to put a new one in ?!! I could’ve just said no and put the old one back in with no charge. I’ve been going here for 3 years now for oil change and bought cars here but never ever coming back here again.

Does a battery normally die in 2 years? leaking acid all over the place. obviously something wrong with the battery but they wont honor the defect.

We bought a new car here a little over a year ago with no issues. When issues with the command start was occurring which could have caused a mayor accident. I went back to address this and was sent to the shop that put in the command start that was put in before the car was purchased. When I got to the shop they told me that they didn't install the command start and that the dealership must have done it and did a terrible job and it wasn't safe to use.

When I returned to the dealership all they wanted to know was who sold me the car and that I needed to deal with them. I asked why they had on record of my command start being installed at a location that didn't do it and who was the unqualified person that put in the command start. They stated that everyone is qualified to install the command start at the dealership which of course was not the case.

I had to come back hours later to see the person that sold me the car which still wasn't there and then showed the problem of the car with another dealer who called the people that installed the command start and was told that someone would come to my house that day or the next to look at my car. That was over 2 weeks ago and no one has come by and no one from the dealership has called for a follow up. The person that sold me the car did call later that day but was really no help.

It seems to me that this dealership only cares about the sales and less about the person after the sale. I would not recommend this dealership and to tell you to beware of service done to your car.

The car was a 2016 red Nissan Micra purchased in January of 2017. I believe it was Evelyn that sold us the car and has not called us back for update.

I contacted Nav and within 3 weeks I am now in a 2018 Altima. There was a bit of a wait as the car was not in Canada. These guys went above and beyond everything expected. Dropped by to look at a couple of vehicles. Salespeople were more interested in gossip. Everyone was talking about a couple of guys named John and Jeff. I was more interested in the cars. Ended up going to another dealership. Rude to ignore people. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

I thank my lucky stars that your salespeople were not interested in serving me the night I came in. The next day at work, not ONE, but TWO different co-workers told their stories of purchasing their cars from your dealership. They received crappy service and will never purchase from your dealership again. Everyone in the community says you guys like to target new immigrants and take advantage of them. By the way, I have covered the sticker with something else. I know you are just out for first time buyers because there is no after sale service from you guys. You don't make the Nissan name proud.
