I am a senior and first time buyer. Having recently bought a used vehicle from Southside Mitsubishi I am hoping that sharing the following outcome of my experience will be of help to others who will come after me.

1. Make sure that with the sales person, you see with your own eyes all you are requesting before paying for anything.

2. Make sure that your financial exchange is done with a financial representative and not with a sales person who has had no previous experience dealing with finances and customer.

3. If there are unresolved issues between you and your sales person, it will be brought to management. At this point, I honestly don't know what the sales person said or text to management. After expressing my concerns to management, I was told something to this effect: We want all of our customers to be happy."

4. Obviously, I wanted the vehicle and I had some concerns about how the sales person (who did the best he could) had addressed our misunderstanding regarding my original requests and (in my opinion) his mishandling the financial aspect which I ended up covering.

5. That management would have taken some responsibility by offering some compensation for both the misunderstanding and mishandling of the finances would have made me a much happier customer.

I bought a car from this dealership and after I signed the paper work and payed for the car I saw that there was rust on the roof a week later so I took it back to them and they told me that they don't fix rust and they sold the car as it is so this is unacceptable for me to have to pay to fix the rust because they never pointed it and on the inspection it says that everything thing is good and didn't mention anything about the rust so I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying a car from this dealership

Brought my car in to get some recalls done, they did a work up on my vehicle and ended up telling me that i needed $3400 worth of work done (struts, brakes, bulbs ect.) Was ready to book all my services but decided to get a second opinion just in case. They told me my rear break pads were at 20% and had uneven wear. My brakes were actually 50% with no wear on them so i didn't even need to get them done. the tires were rusted so you could tell they didn't even take my tires off. They also charge you double if not quadruple the amount for parts than what they are worth. Also $20 labor to install a $3 license plate light? for real? Prices are outrageous. I really trusted this place but now i am feeling very misguided and confused....
I understand these are recommendations to get done on your vehicle but i just feel like since i am a young woman they think they can scare me into spending all this money and getting all this work done that i don't actually need. I gave two stars because the lady working reception in service is amazing and actually went over everything with me and explained it. 0 stars for the guy working in the shop telling me what i should get done when i don't even need it.

Had a poor experience with the sales team. I was asked if I wanted to pay cash or finance. I was already to pay cash, once we came up with a number we were both happy with I was told I HAD to finance. I told the salesman "No I told you I wanted to pay cash". Needless to say I was a little upset that I was not told the truth on how I had to pay for the vehicle I was interested in for my daughter. Finance was not a problem but at the end of the day I still have to pay interest on top of the price of the vehicle which I was not prepared to do. This vehicle was for my daughter and was exactly what we were looking for or I would have walked out the door. Finance (Sam) was good with everything after I explained how disappointed I was in the salesman not being honest with me.
So we are leaving with keys in hand and we couldn't get a congratulations from the salesman or general manager as we walked past both of them on the way out. For this I would not buy from here again but Sam is the only reason I have rated this dealership with a 2. Hope this help you out, I know my daughter walked out of there shocked.

Bought my second car here, great experience with Aaron Glena, but then a very poor experience with the finance dept (used the cost difference in the interest rate to try to make extended warranty package look cheaper). Let that slide since the rest of the experience was okay.

Then, referred my Girlfriend there, asked about referral bonus, was told there was one, and that they would reach out "when it was ready". Followed up after 2 months, no response. Again a month later, no response.

If you are looking to buy a car, talk to Chase. He's great. He cares about establishing a good rapport and making a deal that will make you happy. Mitsubishi makes solid vehicles, and the lot has a great selection of nice used options.

The sales managers on the other hand, feel their need to insert themselves into the process and mess it all up. They will treat you with condescention and show flagrant disregard to the conversation you have had with Chase before that point. They will use tried-and-true sales tactics to pressure you into a sale while answering any disagreement with dismissal and disrespect. As an ex-salesman, I have no idea why someone who didn't establish ANY rapport with the customer would walk over and try to close the sale.

Mitsubishi makes a great product, and Chase is a great sales guy. Just take my advice - if one of the managers sit down with you, tell them to go away.

First off, I bought my car, used, in Calgary. My Air Conditioning broke down on my way to Edmonton. I called Southside because it was the closest to where I was staying, and I am happy it was the closest. The service department worked hard within the confines of warranty, dealing with the dealership in Calgary, and still dealing with the other costumers they had that day, to get me on the road. The best costumer service I have received in a really long time. Especially, since I didn't even buy the car from them. It is too bad I can't leave 0 stars. One star gives the 20%, which is far too generous. I had the displeasure of purchasing a used auto from this dealer a couple of weeks ago, and once they had my money, the service ended.
They called to tell us that the cost to apply vinyl black-out increased from $500 to $1400 over-night. So we cancelled that, and were told we could come pick the vehicle up "any time". What they seemed to mean was we could come in and wait for 45 minutes while someone went to fuel it up. Oh, and it wasn't detailed. Fine, we can get that done later.
Then began a game of "which-one-goes" while trying to find screws to mount the license plate. At this point I was watching the clock and it took another 45 minutes.
Not completely disillusioned, we made an appointment to get the detailing done and dropped the car off on morning. "Pick it up anytime!" again. Not wanting to wait, we picked it up at about 5 pm, but apparently we rushed them, and all they had done wash wash the outside. The inside hadn't been touched.
The level of incompetence is breathtaking, not only in the sales department, but also in the service department. I do have some comfort in the fact that we bought an Audi rather than a Mitsubishi so I don't ever have to deal with these clowns again.

What a wonderful experience for our first introduction to Mitsubishi! We test drove a few SUVs (Subaru, Toyota, Ford) and we were most interested in electric/hybrid vehicles if the company offered one. What was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from Mitsubishi to the other dealers, was that our salesmen Dany didn't disregard our other vehicle choices. Other salespeople had told us poor things about the other cars we were interested in (other than their brand of course), it didn't feel like the other dealers respected our research in choosing a car for our family. We ended up purchasing a vehicle the 1st day we walked into Southside Mitsubishi store. We were greeted right away, our choices were respected and they let the car speak for itself when selling it to us. We picked up our car today and we were pleasantly surprised with a gift card to Babies R' Us for a new baby car seat! (Which was our whole intention on buying a vehicle.) I am very pleased with the customer service we received from ALL the staff we met during our trips there! I highly recommend!

They charged me $10000 or more than what the car and other add ons were worth that I could have saved if I went somewhere else. These people are pure rip offs. Don't waste your valuable time and money on these fraudsters. Do business elsewhere. They never tell you the price of the car even if you ask them. I was a new buyer and was excited for my brand new car. Instead now I have a $700 monthly payment and have to pay back $60000 in 7 years.

The sales manager Brandon and salesman Jacob offered free oil changes at first and then when asked about it later they said they never made that promise!

Like any dealer, they're going to charge you more than a standard mechanic. I have taken my car there for the majority of its services and for the most part, they have been satisfactory. Recently had a check engine light come on for an oxygen sensor which they would not replace unless I also replaced the catalytic converters. $100 sensor, $2200 cats. I declined. Took it in later out of desperation because it wouldn't start. They did a $265 fuel system service. The CEL hasn't come on again. Car runs better and it sure doesn't seem like the cat's needed to be done...

I purchased my 2008 Outlander there and love my vehicle.
First issue with the service department was when my gas cap door would not open and they would not tell me how to fix it over the phone. Why was it necessary for me to drive there? All that was required was taking the latch off inside my cab and finding the wire.
My second issue was when my vehicle stalled when idling with the air conditioner on (so at a red light). After I paid for them to look at it they quoted me two thousand dollars plus for the repair. After some research on the internet my son discovered it could be a result of a dirty throttle body. Nine dollars for the throttle body cleaner and a little elbow grease fixed it. They never even suggested this. They were looking to replace everything. Cash grab? You decide.

I thank you for your Friendly People, Great Service with Hugo, Aaron Krusch, Raman Randhawa to make a new car deal for the above Lancer with non-refundable deposit in $2,500.00 dated June 23 2016 on behalf of my boy, Marco SUNG who was purchasing his first automobile when he graduated this year.

However, the car was delivered on June 27 2016 and full payment was made and picked up on July 2 2016 respectively. When Marco tried to make the full payment on July 2 2016, the missing rebates i.e. First Auto Rebate and A Grad Rebate were discussed with your Friendly People without Great Service.
Nobody wanted to talk about the rebates and the option left was take it (to pay the full payment) or leave it (to forget the non-refundable deposit in $2,500.00).

Well, it was not an option at all! Finally, Marco did pay the full payment without receiving the First Auto Rebate and A Grad Rebate he deserves as Mitsubishi stated and as well as your Southside Mitsubishi stated.

What kind of Mitsubishi rebate statement is that promised but not giving to the customers?

I want to know why not? Your early reply will be highly appreciated to clarify the missing rebates.

Berry took my car into fix and is compensating for all the trouble i went through. If you ever have a problem he is the best person to go to. he genuinely cares for his customers. I am now happy with the progress on my car even tho there is still no time available for when the steering wheel will be hooked up to my deck, mitsubishi made sure i was compensated and that they are working their hardest to get what i need to make my vehicle more enjoyable.

I will never buy anything from this dealership again. Everything was fine until after I received my car. I have been waiting 4 months for parts that apparently 1. no one has ordered. 2. might not exist.
I wanted a fully loaded rvr but because of my budget, my sales person Aaron told me I would have a better deal if I had gotten the after market kenwood deck installed..it was not a better deal and I still feel ripped off. Such a mistake. my fault for allowing them to pressure me into buying something I now hate. The rvr is a nice suv but nothing on it works and I am locked out of all my settings. I cant even charge my phone.
