We leased a Mazda for 4 years. We went back to them to see what offer they can give us since we are loyal returning customers. I told the sales guy that our car is a bit over the free kilometers so he offered to waive the penalty of $1600 and promised to give us the 2018 CX3 for 340/month. Little that we knew that there is a down payment of $1600 and thats how the payment was lower. I specifically asked for zero down-payment. Let me tell you this place does not care about your loyalty and they will steal your money. They give you false information. They held my $1000 dollar deposit. Just to add to it the assistant sales manager Howard is the most disrespectful manager I've ever seen in my life, he starts to yell at my girlfriend over the phone. To be honest i'm totally turned off from getting another Mazda from anywhere. 0/10 DO NOT GO TO PRIMA MAZDA

I recently bought a 2014 Mazda 3, horrible experience. It was very time consuming and stressful. The staff did not seem to listen to what I had to say. I've had to take my car in for service multiple times and the service manager does not understand how this affects my schedule and is not willing to be considerate when booking appointments. I understand I work far (20 min. away) and can not be dropped off for an early appointment, but if its my fifth appointment in two months I expect some consideration as it is greatly affecting my work life.

Car stopped her from entering an intersection and prevented her from getting T-boned by a car that failed to signal and cut her off. Saved her and my son from a bad accident. Bought a CPO Mazda6 car here a few weeks ago. Was initially apprehensive because I’ve never had a good experience with pre-owned car dealerships. But, Rob made the process very easy and smooth. I would give this a 0 star if I could. I called in a week prior asking if they had technicians that are familiar with a rather old vehicle. They said yes so I booked an appointment. Come time to bring the car in i was told it would take some time. Fair enough I dont mind a few hours later I get a phone call saying that they are unable to find the issue exact issue and that exhaust work needs to be done on the car and that I should come pick up my car. I make my way down there to a work order that did not match what the service advisor is saying and the technician did not do everything he could of . Rather I was met with a "im helping you out by giving you a discount"?

ATTENTION PRIMA MAZDA LEASE HOLDERS!
My wife and I leased a car from Prima, they were nice enough folks when it was leased. When the lease was ending we decided to buy it out, when we called in and asked for a total we were given a value that seemed a fair bit higher than expected, getting a breakdown from someone was like pulling teeth and once we finally got one we noticed a $500 "admin fee" tacked on to the buyout.

I called Mazda Finance to inquire and was told specifically that dealers should not be charging a fee, but that I could buy out at any Mazda dealer. I called around and found Mazda of Richmond Hill and was told that lease buyouts don't have an admin fee (exactly as Mazda Finance explained) and purchased through them to save close to $600 (admin fee + taxes).

For our next Mazda we'll be using Mazda of Richmond Hill.

He was so rude to my mom, he got her so upset she ended up walking out and my mom is a very patient lady. It says lots. The GM is clearly lacking basic customer service skills and I question who would hire him...Wasn’t very impressed.

I am not someone who likes car shopping! I get overwhelmed and I don't like to be pressured. After going to 4 or 5 other dealerships (where some of the salespeople would only talk to my boyfriend, even though I was the one buying the car...), I ended up at Prima Mazda and I could not be happier that I did! Alanna came out, introduced herself and answered all of my questions without making me feel an ounce of pressure. She worked within my budget and gave me all the pros and cons of each car I looked at. I am now driving my first Mazda 3 sport with a silly grin on my face :) Alanna, Scott and the team at Prima Mazda were wonderful to work with. The manager even came over and introduced himself and then remembered us when we came back. The personal touch is something sales teams often seem to struggle with, but this dealership has it down. We’ve been loyal customers to this location for over ten years but this last little while the service has been declining, maybe because management has changed. Our most recent visit last Saturday was for basic service and wheel exchange.
When we arrived to pick up our car it looked dirty even though they wash it every visit. It wouldn’t start because it turned out the battery had been completely drained because a technician had left the lights on once they discovered the drivers side headlight needed replacing.
They recharged our battery and recleaned the car and we went on our way. Monday morning our passenger front tire was completely flat. I called Mazda because we had barely driven Sunday and the tires had just been put on; they even mentioned that they had to use extra sealant this year. Mazda said it wasn’t their problem and maybe a nail punctured it.
We went to Active Green + Ross where they promptly fixed the tire (20 mins) with amazing service and said there was in fact a nail in the tire but it looked really old and had probably been there a while; perhaps Mazda didn’t check the tires after replacing them and letting the sealant dry.
Got home and decided to check the headlight that had been “replaced” because I really was doubting Mazda at this point. Turns out, it was still out.
Called Mazda immediately and was told to make an appointment to fix it, no problem. The appointment coordinator never got back to me though. My husband left a message for their new GM Patrick because we hadn’t heard, but he never returned the call. I called again to make an appointment for tomorrow (Saturday) because it’s when I’m in the area (we don’t live nearby) and was told they were full. Explained the situation (we’ve already paid for this repair!) and she went to confirm... again was told they were full for the time I needed.
Explained to the receptionist that we have been long time customers and won’t be returning again, after all of this, and she said “ok” so I said “have a great weekend” and that was the end of that.
So disappointed, frustrated and mad that we’ve paid for services that were not completed, the lack of respect and customer service and the overall mess of a simple service and wheel exchange.

Great experience at Prima Mazda! I was out test driving some cars in Scarborough when I saw on AutoTrader a deal too good to be true. I made my way up to Prima Mazda, and though far it was the best decision I ever made. The dealership was clean and friendly. I was greeted by everyone on the floor with a smile and a wave regardless if they were there to help me or just part of the team. I wasn't left to sit waiting long as I had been in some dealerships I was in earlier in the day. Alanna was a joy who showed us the car and processed our sale, with enthusiasm and excitement over the great deal we were getting you would think she was buying the car! In the end I purchased a 2018 Mazda CX-5 at a price I am still blown away by. Scott the manager was friendly and helpful going over the bill of sale and financing. Pickup went smoothly, and when a small scratch was noticed just as we were about to leave Alanna immediately offered to mail a touch-up pen free of charge so I can fix it and any other scratches that may occur. Follow-up call the next business day was a perfect touch to an all around amazing car purchase experience! Highly recommend Prima Mazda and I am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent Experience when I bought my vehicle. I was a little hesitant, but they did push me into a beautiful Mazda 3 2018. I knew I got a good deal on this. Daniel here was very friendly and helpful. There was some correspondence that happened between Daniel and I before even meeting. Through that interaction, he was very patient and helped me with answering a few questions and breaking things down for me. This stood out since every other sales rep from other dealerships were not really genuine with their approach. Daniel wanted to know what I wanted and everyone else wanted me to know what they had - big difference! Honestly, I went in to that showroom not having any plan to buy a vehicle that day, I didn't think I was ready. However, Daniel and his team helped me see that it was something I needed to do. I absolutely would recommend them - Daniel specifically - to anyone in the market for a car. They're motivated and eager to help, however - and here's the reason for the 4 stars - if you're on the fence about purchasing, or not sure, or still shopping around, you might feel like you've got pushed into the purchase. For me, it was a good thing, but it was a little too obvious that they wanted or needed to make that sale, again, not a bad thing, but it could be aggressive to the wrong client. But, please, that's not the take-away here - Excellent service, friendly sales team and a great experience. I'll be back to get my next vehicle here. Thanks Daniel!!!
