HALF-WAY MOTORS MAZDA is definitely a "must go" place at the moment of choosing a car. We have always wanted a Mazda and they helped us pick the right one.
They are very knowledgeable, polite and friendly, treated us very well during the entire process and afterwards.

Mr. Reynaldo and Mr. Sean solved all of our queries and would go the extra mile to make sure that we had a great experience, loved it!

People at Half-Way Motors Mazda are a huge 10/10, the only inconvinience we came across was a tiny, but really tiny scratch on the car, which is understandable when a vehicle needs to travel across continents. They are now fixing that tiny bit to help my OCD haha.

I recommend HALF-WAY MOTORS MAZDA, go check it out, you will not regret it!

I do not trust the service here. I brought my vehicle in for an interprovincial inspection this week on Monday. Before moving here from Alberta, I had regularly serviced my CX-5 and just had the brakes redone by a trusted mechanic before moving back. My previous mechanic would send me videos of the 66 point inspections they did so I was well aware of the condition of my vehicle.

It passed the IPO as expected, however, now one of the underbody covers is loose and hanging down. This was never a problem before I brought it into this shop for an inspection. Obviously I am very frustrated that they returned my vehicle in poorer condition that it was received. Further, it just seemed like a slimeball move to call and ask to replace my cabin air filter for $80 when this is not even a requirement to pass the interprovincial inspection!! I can do this myself, thanks. Why are they wasting time checking something I didn't ask for? I am hoping they will quickly resolve the issue with my loose underbody covers.

Ordered a new CX-5 earlier in the year, and was a reasonable enough wait (4 months or so) considering the car came from Japan.
Vicky was quite helpful throughout the process and he is well versed in customer service.
There were several shortcomings in closing, perhaps out of his control:
-We amended the order verbally to include a block heater in the car, it was never done although there was a week before receiving the car.
-I had to return to the dealer multiple times to amend the paperwork and it’s still not right (they put the vehicle in my name and not my wife’s)
-The lease rate was changed from 2.49 to 2.79 upon finalizing documentation although we were told our rate was secured when the vehicle was ordered.
This may all seem like trivial stuff but it’s what I’ll remember from the buying experience.
The service department has been good to deal with, and I am quite happy with the vehicle build quality/fit and finish.

This dealership has very unethical practices, and lies to woman about mechanical issues on their vehicles in order to bring in more money. They lied and said that the new breaks that were installed were put on backwards by another mechanic and that it needed to be done by them. I wouldn't trust them with an oil change let alone vehicle repairs. Safety first.

While on vacation in Thunder Bay, our 2018 Mazda CX-9 started to exhibit an uneven idle that induced a body vibration. We called Half-Way Motors and they booked us right away. The service was quick, friendly and professional. Our problem was fixed and we were able to continue our road trip and eventually return to Toronto with no issues.
The most surprising part of our experience was that the staff DID NOT CHARGE US for their time and labour! This was the most amazing gesture of hospitality and generosity that we have ever encountered during our 40 years of vehicle ownership! Thank you Half-Way Motors Mazda!

Having been in the market for a New cross over this year back in February I took delivery of the first ever CX-30 lol in fact i was the first one in town to get one and drive away in a brand new 2020 CX-30 and WOW where do i even start haha. The staff at Halfway Motors Mazda are blown out of water fantastic right from walking into the door for the first time shopping right to the negotiation process on the lease deal was fantastic and the sales person i doubt with Olivia... she is fantastic and very knowledgeable. As for the entire new vehicle process it was one of the best stress free processes ever. The service and parts department is awesome and the service Manager Ian should get a manager of the year award or something like that as there has never been a time that he wont stop to ensure your total satisfaction to ensure you are happy. Everything has been great from the shopping experience into the finance office where the finance manger ensures that you understand everything going on and never skipped a beat or pressured me ever into getting add-ons but only made me aware that they are there if i would like them and I did take the ceramic coating which I have zero regrets over as its proven to be a fantastic product. Thanks again to All the Staff @Half-Way Motors Mazda for the continued up and beyond service as it has gone up and beyond my expectations :) .

My experience with Half-Way Motors has been one I'll never forget! I am wayyy more than 100% happy with the purchase of my CX-9 which we got back in May. Paul was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made the buying experience very pleasant despite it being different times with an ongoing pandemic. Quick to answer questions, offered to send me pictures and videos of the vehicles I was interested in etc. and was very fair when it came to discussing my trade in. I appreciated the effort considering I also live hours away, and much of our correspondence was via phone call, email and video chat to save the hassle of both travel and worries of COVID. I felt as though the Half-Way Motors team bent over backwards to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted in my next vehicle and I drove away completely happy with how everything was taken care of.

Fast forward to last week when I brought my vehicle in for winter tire install and to have a rattle looked at. Yet again, I received excellent service. The Parts & Service department staff was great with keeping me informed every step of the way and answering any questions or concerns I had. I received prompt and professional service, and appreciated that they took the time to make sure everything was okay before a rather long road trip.

I would definitely recommend Half-Way Motors Mazda to anyone looking for both a great vehicle, and exceptional service. I will gladly continue to bring my vehicle here for service etc in the future!

I had my car serviced at this dealer few days ago and it was the most disappointing experience I ever had with Mazda.
I requested an oil change that needs to be done and I also ask for full brake inspection. The service advisor recommended to change front brake pads and rotors as it has worn down. I agreed. Tire rotations were also completed during this service call.

Upon retrieving the vehicle, there were few things I noticed immediately:
-Windshield fluid was not topped up, despite the SM (Sean Larson) said it has been filled.
-Windshield wipers were still good although I noticed it has deteriorate and needs replacement. My windshield itself were still dirty and no indication that the wiper were being used to test its function.

After approximately 60km of usage, I just noticed that I have never been reminded that my tires need a re-torque after the rotation. There were no reminder sheet or brochure as well unlike when I have my car regularly serviced in Alberta.

After approximately 700km distance since the service was completed, the low oil light came up. I topped it up for almost a litre and the light went off. I can therefore assume that the dealer did not fill up my oil after the replacement properly.

When I got to the city, I noticed that my Smart City Brake System doesn’t work. It usually works in a slow-speed motion (30 km/h or less) and got activated immediately when I got too close with another vehicle in the front. It did not kick in. This function was working perfectly before I got to Half-Way Motors.
Their work is just like their name, Half-Way..

The quality that goes into a Mazda is superior from interior applications to driving experience. It may be that being a smaller product line the focus is on not so many types of vehicles so quality across the line does not suffer.

Lied to several times by salesperson just to make a sale. Did not deliver as they stated they would,salesperson even called me to tell me my car was on a truck and then miraculously the next day it was back on the mazda compound and delayed. Salesperson admitted to manager/owner that he made these commitments to us,and still would not back them up or let me out of the contract.As soon as the paperwork was finalized and keys were handed over, Manager/Owner informed me he would not be honoring the warranty on this car.
