VERY, VERY dishonest the Manager of the preowned cars. I bougt a 2012 MAZDA 2 , in 2014 which had olny 25000 km, the Manager told me this was a new car. However a few weeks after I sterted to have serious problems . Over three year period I spend over $8000. Nobody at the Dileship wanted to talk to me. I am 80 yers old disabeld person. PLEASE, PLEASE stay away from this place. Unless you have a lot of money and you can spend for bad lemons.

I was directed to 401 Dixie Mazda by Unhaggle. I had a really disappointing experience with this dealership. I went to this dealership with an intension of buying a used car after I rejected a couple of cars the sales person promised to show me a car that was supposed to be traded in by their past customer. They called me in for a test drive after several follow ups because they didn't had the car. I saw the car and liked it and offered to book the car. Though the dealership was not having the possession of the car from the previous owner yet they asked me to pay the booking deposit of $1000 to which I agreed because I really liked the car. I was asked to fill in a credit application and told that they would revert in 3-5 days on credit approval. 10 days past I don't get an update from these guys after several calls and follow ups his manager says I thought we gave you an update. The sales guy who showed me the car went on vacation and whenever I call their receptionist they say they would let his manager know about it and get an update on my car.
Post 12 days I asked to show me the car but they didn't had an answer. So I cancelled the deal. They took another week to refund my deposit and asked to me walk-in to the dealership for this. But they never gave an update on the car.
This whole process was really frustrating. This dealership lacks transparency, professionalism. The staff is rude and I would not recommend business with them.

Everytime I call in the response is “can I get your number and we will call you back” I wait the entire day and no call back...this is such a common thing that it makes you not want to call them. Please don’t make promises and not follow through with them, I will surely let me friends and family know not to purchase from here. This review is related to the service center. I purchased a brand new vehicle at this dealership in December 2018. I have not hand any issues here until my most recent experience. After my previous service, I was pleasantly surprised to be informed by the service clerk that my next service appointment would be complimentary due to my 1 year anniversary. When I called last week to make my appointment and was quoted on the price, I was upset to discover that it was not complimentary. Being my word against theirs, I decided to proceed with the appointment. However, this also opened up the conversation that after 1 year, I was actually required to do a MANDATORY brake inspection. I was told by 2 separate representatives that this was mandatory and if I didn't do it, my warranty would be VOIDED. Frustrated and confused, I called Mazda Canada to verify these claims. Mazda Canada confirmed that this service is only recommended and is not at all mandatory for warranty purposes. I felt conned and I suggest to all that you verify what this dealership says before proceeding with their work. How can their word be trusted when they openly communicate false information to customers. In short, please be aware of the potential for scams or MANDATORY requirements from this service center.

If you're buying a car from 401 Mazda. You've got to meet this exceptional person named Mutee Salama. His way of dealing with a customer was simply amazing. He treated us as if we were his own. He's not two faced. When he promises something he surely will deliver. A guy of his word. An amazing human being:)

Few months down the road when I brought the car to a different mechanic for work, they had point out the repairs made all around the car and the paint job was done due to a previous collision. At that time this dealer was very confident that they sold me a clean and certified car. Do not believe everything they say or show on the carfax and end up being a victim of a scam.

Once arrived at the dealership, Tahir helped me decide the best vehicle with long-term value in mind. When it was time to purchase, Mutee spent several hours on multiple days to find a deal that was in my best interest. This is an update from the first time I wrote a review for them after my purchase. While the Sales department is immensely cooperative and values customer's time and experience, following is my recent and first encounter with the Service department:

- While scheduling an appointment, the charges shown were around $35 whereas at the service station, I was given an invoice of around $135. That is a huge difference.

- I had clearly mentioned that I will need a drop-off shuttle service, since I was asked by them. However, on reaching there I was denied that, saying that we don't do shuttle service after 3. Why ask in first place? I had to argue with the department to finally have the drop off service help me reach back to work.

- The total time it took for the vehicle to be ready for pickup was almost double than what was promised. Also, no one reached out to me for any update on pickup.

- The service personnel was adamant on having me pay the invoice over phone call, which I was not comfortable doing for privacy reasons.

- Please note that this feedback is coming from someone who recently purchased total 3 Mazda vehicles from them in last 6 months.

Took my 3 yrs old cx9 in for sensor issue. They ran diagnostics and discovered the warning light came on even though it was still displayed on my dashboard. So no new discovery. Called me to say I needed brakes and brake fluid and gave it a bath. Declined on the brakes because I can do it myself. Charged me $135 for diagnostics. Driving home and the same thing happened within minutes, sensor not working again. Called and said they would do it again free of charge considering the already charged me $135 for a car wash. I don't have the time or patience. I wondered where the sensor was and now it works. I cleared the codes with my own device and stopped up brake fluid. All in all it cost me $20 to do it myself and a lot less time. If you want to be scammed out of your money when it comes to repairs then go here. You go with a simple problem and they'll charge you for whatever, not fix the problem, try and sell you services you don't need. It's hilarious. Don't ever call me for anything! I'll do my own work from here on in you brain damaged idiots.

They even quoted me tire installation at a certain price and upped it $10-15 when the installation was done (he just wanted to pull a quick one). Purchased my car from this place worst mistake ever. Most of the staff are very sneaky Jose being the worst one of them all took advantage of me due to the fact I was unfamiliar with purchasing cars. Tried to sell me a Mazda 3 for 50,000. I was trying to come to some sort of resolution to no avail. Clearly all they care about is selling the car once that’s over with you’re on your own. Would never do business with these people again and for that matter I wouldn’t recommend anyone doing business with this place. I haven’t been back since nor will I ever step foot in that place again. I am now editing my original post to let everyone know how this place works. Jose called me the very next day of my original review and wants to seek legal action against me. I contacted the manager after that. I talked to him and told him what had transpired how his employee has threatened me legally his response was he will look into this matter and get back to me the next day. Now months later still has yet to reach out to me. Clearly the manager here isn’t a very trustworthy person considering he can’t even follow through with a simple phone call or maybe a explanation as to why his employees would act in such a manner. As I stated before don’t step foot in that place they have clearly lost touch with how customer service works. Just care about selling you that car once that happens you’re nothing to them. This dealership has not only made it impossible to do business with them but also stopped me from buying another Mazda vehicle period very unprofessional

Bought a car, but didn’t like the service. Sales folks are good, and final delivery is good.. but everything in middle and once u purchase is vehicle is just below average.

Specially not happy with the inflexibility shown by the finance manager on the final deal where they force you to sign things and regular service is just a hassle. I would prefer a local Mazda in your area then trying for a special deal from them.

Tip: never buy the warranty they recommend.

Beware that they do not take parts back regardless of whether they have been opened or not. All other Mazda dealerships will take parts back with a restocking fee (sometimes they will waive the fee if the part hasn't been used or open). If you are unsure and purchase extra parts, beware that you will be stuck with them.

EDIT: I have decided to edit my review and give 401 Dixie Mazda 5 stars. I spoke to the store's General Manager Tahir and I was pleased to hear that he would forward my concern to the Parts Manager to see if something could be worked out. I visited the store today and I had a chance to speak to Tony, the Parts Manager, who took the time to understand my concern and why I needed to purchase extra parts and return them if I don't use them. He refunded all my extra parts! He truly cares about his customers and I am happy to say that I am looking forward to making 401 Dixie Mazda my regular go-to should I need to purchase parts. Fantastic service!

Just returned my leased vehicle after paying for 4 years and this classy dealership refused to drive me home so I had to order a taxi. Got harassed to return the véhicule multiple times in the last 3 months to get a new lease but I’m done with Mazda forever! I had two in a row and it means nothing to them! My girlfriend was in the market for a 7 passenger SUV. We did our research of several of the top 7 passenger SUVs. On the top of our want list was the Toyota Highlander. A second vehicle that I was impressed with was the Mazda CX-9, which I had rented a few months earlier for a trip to New York. While checking out the Auto Trader and arranging for us to test drive (and possibly buy) different Highlanders, I decided to give Dixie-401 Mazda a call to inquire about a 2009 CX-9, just so we can test drive and compare with the Highlander. I called to inquire about the CX-9 because the price and mileage were one of the better ones we found in the Auto Trader.

We called 401-DIxie Mazda and talked to Rohit Ratti. Rohit was courteous and made an appointment for me to come in and test drive the 2009 CX-9 I was interested in. He mentioned that they also had 2011 CX-9 that had lower mileage, was fully loaded with Navigation and DVD players. I mentioned that the 2011 would be out of our price range, however Rohit let me believe that I would have a decent chance of negotiating and possibly getting the 2011 for a reasonable price. So I committed to the appointment that he made.

We went out and test drove the first Highlander. My girlfriend and I thought it was decent, however it felt a bit boxy and van like. I was hoping for a car like ride similar to the Lexus RX 350, which I've owned in the past. We then went to our appointment at 401-Dixie Mazda where we met Rohit. Again he was quite courteous and made us feel right at home. We test drove the 2009 CX-9 and my girlfriend was blown away by the car like right, even though the vehicle is a 7 passenger. She was also impressed that the vehicle appeared smaller on the outside and roomy on the inside, in comparison to the other SUV's like the Highlander. My girlfriend fell in love with the vehicle immediately. Rohit then encouraged us to take the 2011 CX-9 on a test drive and to check out the features.

Long story short, that Saturday we went out Highlander shopping, and ended up purchasing a 2011 CX-9 and Rohit had everything to do with it. We felt that we would have to spend thousands more to get all the features that we got on our purchase, including a fairly new vehicle, low mileage, leather seats, Navigation, and dual DVD Player Systems.

I went to the 401 DIXIE location to look for a car .
It ended I but the new Mazda 3 sport hatchback .
The experience was fabulous from the beginning to the end .
Amazing how every person in the show room smile to you !!!
Even with a picky and difficult customer like me (I know my self ...lol...) they keep a calm attitude and smile.
The Show room is nice from outside and very well maintain from the inside (I like it all except the balloons hanging from the sealing !!! its not giving a nice contrast with the wonderful sport shape of the new Mazda's-Guys I can help you in that, I am in design and staging ) .

- Saad Majeed is excellent product Specialist he give a great presentations...

-When it come to the Sales Manager Asen Nawaz he presented the best financing plan he can.

-Amir Hussain the Financial Manager he done a great job in presenting the several options of warranty...

- The service after sale it was great when we faced the delivery date , The manager Junaid Raja tacked care of all the final details to have a happy customer.

Don't bother going anywhere else. My experience at 401 dixie was very pleaseant. Ask for Hassan Azhar, this guy really knows his cars inside and out and doesn't give off the usual car salesmen vibe. I was pretty much sold after my test drive, and I got a really good deal on my jet black mazda 3. The best part is when I realized I didn't need all the features of the GS trim level Hassan didn't still try to sell it, but instead explained all the features of the GX to gauge if I really needed the added features. Plus he knew that my budget was limited so he helped me get an amazing deal. Would lease from these guys again.
