I am happy with my 2019 Mazda 3 which I had a block heater installed upon purchase. Now after only 2 years the block heater has failed and needed a new one. There was no warranty coverage on this and it was over $500 to replace it. Not happy that Mazda could not help out with this issue. They did tell me they gave me a half hour off installation. I think a part like that should last a lot longer considering how many times a year you actually use it.

Cheat of a car dealership. There are many type of cheats in the world. This dealership puts all of them to shame.

1. We didn't get a rebate that was offered when we brought the car
2.The service don't do the detailing that comes with first service because of COVID that lives in the car
3.Worst of all the car had oil complaints and steering complaints that didn't exist till the service.
4. Staff is rude to other nationalities but you might never experience.

Mazda is great. Amazing car. Why did I buy a car from this place.

I have to say, the service department here is terrible. I understand the situation we are going through in 2020/2021. To which allowed me to have empathy and understanding for the people working at Mazda. That being said. If you ever try and call the Service department to book an appointment or arrange to purchase tires from Mazda. You are much better to go somewhere else if you are no longer under warranty.

I was waiting for a quote on tires for over a week and a half. After a week I called back, told that they were busy, or the service department would pick up and tell me they would called me back. I gave my name and number to 5 different people. Never received a call till the Friday before my appointment which gave me little options on what I wanted to do. Not to mention that was the 6th time I called to get an answer. At this point if they ever told me I was getting a call back from someone...I wasn't holding my breath.

Also the service department doesn't know how to measure tires. My tires went from 4mm/32 seconds in April 2021 to 6mm/32 seconds in September 2021...so who messed up?

I was very impressed by the overall customer service at Kamloops Mazda during my entire purchasing process. Went to every dealership in town and received an instant print out of the cost of the vehicle and any additional discounts (Except Mazda). I find It odd that the salesmen goes into the office “to get you a rate” and comes back with an amount your going to pay per month. No total cost.. no taxes shown.. no discounts shown.. so how do I really know what I am getting? They are nice people I just didn’t like the sales tactic. I decided to buy from Toyota as they were upfront about the price .. essentially what you see online is exactly what you pay for no hidden costs. I am sad because I loved the interior and the feel of a Mazda just not the way that they do business. That’s my honest review

I Will never buy from Kamloops Mazda again.
Mazda was showing me their "dealer invoice" cars, which means it's last year's models that they have on for a really good price. I had a loan on my current vehicle and the only reason I traded it in was because the new salesman named Nav, told me that Mazda buys out my loan and doesn't add it on to the price of the vehicle... I made sure I asked him that question multiple times because I went to a previous dealership prior to this and that dealership said that they tack on the loan, they were very up front with that so that's why I didn't buy from the other dealership. I wouldn't have bought from Mazda if that was the case too. I do admit fault that I didn't look at the purchase agreement carefully, I guess I was just so excited about getting a new car for such a good price. Later when I found out what they did I complained and only got 1 free oil change... That's pretty weak, some dealerships do a year's worth of oil changes for free when you buy a new car anyways. Don't get fooled by Mazda and make sure you're dealing with an experienced salesmen. When I talked to the boss named Colin, he said that the salesmen are trained to give the least amount of information as possible as to not "confuse" the customer. That made me even more mad.
At least I learned a good experience to ask more questions and hopefully never make this horrible mistake again.

Went on a road trip back in Aug., halfway along heard brake noise that was not right. Thankfully, we were passing through Kamloops and thankfully the Mazda dealership was open. Richard the Service Manager and his right hand man Tyrell made the absolute best effort. Detected the problem, repaired the problem and sent my daughter and I off in a safe and sound vehicle after over an hour of fixing.
I am so thankful as it was a Saturday and only an hour left before closing.
Plus, they would not accept anything for their efforts.

Worst service I have ever received. After a front control arm recall they refused to give me and alignment until I complained enough times that they admitted they have an allowance for alignments after recalls and had it done for me. They also broke my windshield during servicing and gave me the run around for over 3 months saying that they were going it get it fixed and would call me back with details. I called them over 20 times and was told every time that they would "look into it and get back to me". The manager was incredibly rude and tried denying that staff broke my windshield. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

I have probably gone to all the car dealerships in kamloops and Mazda was the one ! I thought I had a different car picked out but I took the Mazda for a test drive and I new I was going to come back for it! So in love with my Mazda it's almost time for her 3rd oil change already!! I got her December 13th 2018!
