We bought a 2008 used Escape late Dec 2013 - had asked for the service dept review information during negotiations - they seemed to be in an extreme rush to get the sale through; we were given the requested info as we were given the keys and shown the door (had to ask later about a full tank of gas which is usual but did not get until pressed).
-Noticed that the transmission had been completely rebuilt on spec sheet (approx $2700 worth of work)
- small oil patch on our driveway with 10 days of purchase; went back to get them to check; they put die in oil to determine where the leak was and sent us away for a week. Leak is from gasket in oil pan which will take approx $200 in parts and 12 hrs labour total approx $2000 - they say leave it for a month them claim on the expensive extended warranty we purchased. Not willing to negotiate

I say do not deal with this dealership without having a separate mechanic inspect any used vehicle they try to sell you
Feb 5th - Ford Sales Mgr contacted us this past week and after hearing what we had to say confirmed they will cover the cost to repair so we are leaving it with them today to fix - we have offered to cover cost of parts they will cover the 12.5 hrs labour

On Jan 8, I brought my F150 in for service. The work was done well and on time. When I returned for my vehicle, it had been cleaned inside and out. The person who cleaned my truck did an excellent job and deserves to recognized. It was very dirty due to winter roads. I certainly appreciated it and would publicly thank him. It means a lot.
