You get sold a warranty they won't honor. And from what I hear its mandatory now. It was optional when I bought it. Bought my car in 2018. It was never properly finished, it looked like there were spider webs and scratches all over it. Brought it in to be finished and buffed properly (and have the tape removed) and instead they changed my freshly changed oil and replaced it with cheap oil option and charged me for it when I never asked for it to be done (the new oil change sticker was on the window )- vacuumed my car instead of fixing the outside finish or removing the tape. The tape from the sale sign wasn't removed until this year 2023 "under warranty". And you may say why didn't you remove it? Because where they placed it between the window and the dashboard was unreachable. Not sure how they went from 2 stars to 4 but be forewarned. When trying to get 2 small burn holes specifically mentioned in the warranty fixed they denied the claim after leaving a voicemail stating they would resubmit if needed. I have emails back and fourth dating from 2018. Do not engage over the phone - make them email you. Don't be fooled by "new management" signs. They've been trying to promote that since 2020. The business is still run the same way Anderson Kia ran it when their reviews were tanking. 5 year old car with rusted gas cap, Windshield wipers, faded exterior, small surface scratch, etc.. all "covered" by the warranty they sell. Also their car seats stain by only water and if you mention it they tell you to use the warranty... But deny it. Bought my car off their show room floor and the tint is bubbled. I was told it was my problem to fix and not covered. Luckily with some pushback it was revealed this was another attempt to make their customers believe they aren't responsible when in fact the tint is fixable and covered under warranty and will be fixed. Just a warning to anyone wanting to purchase here - Don't. Make the trip to Kitchener or London.

I also left a review back in 2018/19 and it seems to no longer exist. Don't trust the new 5 star reviews. Those people got paid 😂

Bought a Jeep Wrangler and they installed snow tires. 13 days after picking it up, I had to take it back for clutch and AC issues. They kept it for TWELVE DAYS. 12 days without a vehicle. 24 days later I came out to a flat tire- the sensor was cracked. This time I took it to Canadian Tire, they fixed in 1 day. Took it back to CT 5 days later- the rest of the sensors were defective and had to be replaced. 20 days later, the radiator quits- all the engine coolant was IN the radiator! The Jeep has to be towed to another shop. 2 more days with no vehicle (we're at 16 days with no vehicle now) This shop also noticed 8 structural bolts missing that hold the windshield in place- I've been driving it on a wing and a prayer obviously. How did KIA miss THAT?! I don't believe a safety or certification was ever done on this vehicle prior to me buying it. I asked for the safety, it was never provided. I'm out of pocket $326.47 to date (bought a $4,700.00 warranty thankfully that covered the rad) and 16 days without a vehicle (I drive to work everyday, so this was extremely frustrating). KIA offered a $250 credit. As if I'd ever take back there for service. Shop somewhere else.

Not a good experience. They do not give you straight answers when it comes to the car price or dealer fees. Fees are higher compared to other dealers in the area. Just want to show you a piece of paper with your monthly payments. No mention of how much interest you will be paying unless you ask. Very disappointed and would not recommend . Trust is important when making a purchase of your vehicle.

We were on route to a hockey tournament in Sarnia and we noticed our front skid plate dragging on the ground. We have a 2019 Sorento, I googled the closest KIA and this was it. They were awesome! Helped us out right away by taking the car back, they replaced 6 bolts that had fallen out. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They even wish my daughter good luck at her tournament!!

I have gone to Anderson Kia for my last several car maintenance services. This one was by far the WORST. I called and booked my 96k service. Normally my bill is around $300-400 for everything all together. This time however, they tried to charge me almost $900 for multiple services I never agreed to, nor were in my maintenance book. This already upset me quite a bit, but they were able to come to a compromise on that. Not before completely lying to me about my brakes though.

They tried to tell me my front and rear pads needed replaced, along with front and back rotors needing replaced. They said my front pads were cracked, I had lip rusts and strongly recommended I get them fixed immediately. They wanted to charge me another $900 for the brake service.

I took my car to a mechanic, for a second opinion, and I'm glad I did. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my brakes, nor did the pads or rotors need replaced immediately. They didn't even actually check the brake fluid because it was clear, not cloudy like they told me.

It is despicable behaviour seen time and time again at stealerships, taking advantaged of customers, especially women and elderly folks.

I asked for my 120 point inspection sheet and had to follow up multiple times to get it sent to me when it should have been included with my invoice. A word to the wise, if you go here, be VERY SPECIFIC with what you want done and make sure they get your approval before performing anything other than the inspection, or it will cost you!

I recently leased a vechicle with Anderson Kia. I cannot say anything but amazing things about my experience. The staff, particularly John Hoare and Zach McDonald, made this process so much more comfortable for me then previous dealerships. They were calming,informative, personable and very well educated in their roles at Anderson Kia. Both of these gentlemen made it evident that they are proud to do what they do for their customers.
The biggest thing for me when making a large purchase, etc, is to feel comfortable with the person that guides me throughout the process. I didnt feel pressured or rushed whatsoever.
They were patient with all of our questions and concerns and answered each question with knowledge and care, while also taking their time. Which is so much appreciated because I didnt know anything about the leasing process prior to. I had been to several other dealerships in the last month and had spoken to many other people in the same "role" as these gentleman, and not a single one of them even came close to "checking off all the boxes" like John and Zach.
There were other staff around the office ofcourse aswell and it seemed obvious that they were all maintaining a professional friendship within the business. Which also is very telling in such a positive way. I would 10/10 recommend Anderson Kia to any of my friends and family. My experience has already been shared with multiple people that I have spoken with in the last 24 hours.

I met Zach several years ago, he helped my best friend and her mom buy their vehicles and they had lovely things to say about him. When my car was written off in October of 2021, I went to Anderson Kia on not only their recommendation, but several of my co-workers and even landlord! Zach personally took me and my situation under his wing, working with me to make sure I understood every single one of my options. He made the effort to get to know me personally, to remember the little details and worked tirelessly until I was satisfied. He did all of this with a smile, an ear or a shoulder when I needed it, and of course, a witty come back or two. He never pressured me into a vehicle (although he strongly suggested I get a Soul- I did not go with the Flintstone Car) nor did he ever make me feel that I HAD to buy from Anderson's. He was open to offering suggestions on other makes and models, but he honestly inspires loyalty within his customers. I am SO happy with my 2022 Forte EX. I am impressed with the many features it came with without having to break my budget. When my partner came in to ask about financing and to test drive the vehicles, he treated him with kindness and respect too. Other dealerships we had been at started to ignore me as soon as my male partner came into the dealership, but Zach made me feel included and respected; he did not fall into any of the gross stereotypes that many women face while buying a car. It was a long road with shortages and my inability to choose what type of vehicle I wanted to call my own, but he really was there through it all. I would genuinely buy another car from Zach at Anderson Kia again.

Their customer service is terrible/nonexistent, they are incompetent and unprofessional, and they are the most untrustworthy business I have EVER come across.

I am from Kitchener and my Partner and I bought a used car and winter tires from Anderson Kia a few months ago. I asked for a picture of the winters when I bought the car and Neil who sold me the winters and car sent a photo of the winter tires and rims that came with the vehicle. I had an appointment on Saturday for an oil and tire change and 5 minutes before my arrival time I get a call from Tammy at Anderson Kia who advised me my tires were not at the dealership and had no idea when they would be. I drove 40 minutes from KW to be told a few minutes before my appointment time that they didn’t have the tires for my tire change appointment. This appointment was booked weeks in advance. She was extremely rude and had an attitude simply because I expressed my disappointment with not having been told earlier as they are aware I am coming from another city. My partner called back on Monday numerous times having a very hard time getting ahold of anyone. Finally Raj the service manager said he could come at 3 pm today to get the winters put on. He arrived today and waited an hour and a half before asking why it was taking so long. He was advised that they were mounting the winter tires onto our summer rims. I was perplexed as based on my conversations and photos from Neil when we bought the car my winter tires were already on the rims. They never once mentioned anything wrong with the winter tires or rims. When my partner told them that we already had winter tires on rims they told him for the first time during the appointment while they were already working on the tires that the tires and rims were not able to be put on the car as they were damaged. To give you some background. This is a 2019 car which was barley driven (10k km) and the photos that I received from Neil when we bought the car showed near perfect tread. No effort was made to rectify the situation from Tammy or Raj who is the service manager. They told me that the rims were never a part of the purchase agreement even though Neil the salesman sent us photos of the tires and rims that we purchased. On top of all this the winter tires we purchased were Michelin tires according to the DOT code sent by Neil however they installed an inferior brand I have never heard of before because they said they could not install the tires we had purchased due to safety concerns yet they let us buy them just a few months earlier.

It’s one thing to have experienced a time of bad customer service at a dealership. Everyone has bad days. This situation however progressively became worse and worse with little to no transparency from both the staff and management at Anderson Kia. Ultimately it has left me with zero confidence in their ability to provide any kind of service. I HIGHLY recommend you buy your next vehicle or get your next servicing done anywhere but here. I’ve never experienced such untrustworthy and incompetent employees. The Anderson advantage should be renamed as the Anderson disadvantage.

Called and expressed my frustration towards not one, BUT TWO other Kia dealers failed to find the issue on my brand new 2021 Sportage.

Raj helped get it booked in within a few days of me calling. Had the problem solved and the part ordered by the end of the week. The technician phoned me directly to ask questions to help recreate the problem.

Disclaimer: the issue solved has been ongoing since May 2021 when we picked up the car and after 4 visits to other dealers, we were turned away saying “we can’t find anything wrong.”

15/10 for everything. I will happily return for all my future service work and for future vehicles. If it was outside of covid, I would bring the service staff coffee and donuts to say thanks. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Very disappointed in my last service. I've bought my kia there and have been a customer for 4 years and after this I will not go back. Went for an oil change and asked them to check my daytime running lights as they have been burning out quickly. They recommend to replace the bulbs and sockets and quoted 139$. I decided to look elsewhere, went to a Kia in waterloo and they charged me 14$ for the parts. I called anderson to get an explanation on the price difference (I was polite). Chris said he'd look at then asked what the other kia charged me I said 14$ he asked if they installed it, I said no, he said that's the difference. I then told them that waterloo Kia said its 25$ per bulb to install and asked why waterloo would charge 60$ and you 139$, his reply was "well if they are willing to charge you that cheap I guess you can continue going to them".
Very unprofessional, I wanted to give them a chance to explain their prices and was basically told to go else where.

Had a few bad experiences here. When I purchased my vehicle they avoided telling me the total cost of the vehicle, just what my payments would be. I had asked 3 or 4 times for total cost of the vehicle never got a straight answer. Talked me into getting the Colour car they had on the lot because it would be faster and cheaper then came to find out they charged me for shipping regardless. When they finally got me a total price on the papers I had to sign, the price they pointed too was for total cost of the car after my $7000 down payment. The numbers they showed me made it look as if the vehicle was $30,000 when the reality was it was $37,000. I was new to the vehicle game so they definitely took advantage of it. told me they would throw in a set of winter tires on rims and internal pressure gauges for those tires. Turned out in the print they charged me for the tires and the tire pressure gauges never worked. I had to make two trips for about 40 mins away for the tire gauges, both times I didn't even make it home before the tire pressure indicator came back on.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and to have the pressure gauges looked at my vehicle had 60km on it after the oil change. looked at my in car camera and they had drove it around to do some errands. It was taken to another shop I'm guesses they were looking for parts of something. When I asked them about it they tried to say they had been testing it. Not sure how you can put 60km test driving to other shops.

My last time in I was getting my oil changed. I asked if they checked all the fluids as my washer fluid was low. The individual at the counter said all fluids would be filled that comes with getting an oil change. Got half way home and got the indicator that the windshield washer fluid was low. Opened the hood my washer fluid was empty and the coolant was needing a top up. Makes me wonder in my oil is even getting changed... probably easier to change the sticker in the window.

You may be wondering why I kept going back for service to that same place. Its because I have to be inspected by then in order to receive my lifetime brake warranty. Probably not worth going back.

I have learned a lot from this experience.

Service department is very slow. I bought my kia new from them 2 years ago and continue to get regular maintenance checks done there. Just basic ones is all I have ever need such as oil changes and change of summer tires to winters. But even with an appointment end up always waiting at least 3 hours for what should be a 30 min job. You pick an appointment time but they’re always so far behind that your car doesn’t even move for the first hour!!

When I got there today they told me it would be anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and I ended up sitting there for an hour and a half. Basically took advantage of my wife. Took our car here for service for the first time since we moved out here.

We were due for our service, and we took it in. Without explaining what would be happening, they did an unnecessary wheel alignment along with the regular service. When I challenged why they did it, they couldn’t even provide the sheets for the alignment giving the results! So there wasn’t even any proof that they did an alignment in the first place! I was then lied to by the assistant that said the printer was down, and when the manager came down she said the car was “too new” and the computer didn’t recognize the car.

Basically the manager threw it in my face and said my wife signed off on all the worked outlined. My wife was never explained any of this, and just asked if she could sign and date the consent form....

Bottom line, I am never coming back here again. You should not be charged for an alignment you can’t see the results for, and being lied to about it is completely unacceptable. Very disappointed. Would rather drive to Kitchener or London than come here again.

I applied through Canada Drives for a vehicle loan especially because they state on their page get the vehicle you want, I was matched with Anderson Kia, and dealt with Andy McGorman, when I arrived I was told that I had been approved through a replicable bank, but with high interest because I have bad credit, and although Canada Drives advertises get the vehicle you want, Andy McGorman misled me and told me I pretty much had to take what they gave me if I wanted to get a newer vehicle and build my credit through the Canada Drives program, in my Canada Drives application I checked that I wanted an SUV, what I was misled into thinking was that a Van was my only option, this is untrue as I should have been referred back to Canada Drives to be matched with a dealer that has what I want, (wish I knew that before), I ended up settling for what I was misrepresented was to be a 2012 dodge grand caravan sxt, I even got a quote from andy's office and am heard on the insurance companies recording stating I did not know the trim package let me ask the salesman, I am heard asking the salesman what the trim package is and am told an sxt which is the fully loaded version, after tricking me into initialing the part to confirm I got what I was told I was getting, Andy writes in the space se, which is a basic model not the more expensive sxt model, I was tricked and givin the wrong vehicle and all they will say is talk to our lawyer, theres is nothing we can do other than flat out cancel the contract and to go to another dealership, this causes me hardship as I cant get reapproved by the same bank until the old contract is cancelled, and there is no guarentee that I will even be approved by td elsewhere which is whats creates the hardship for me as being approved on an autoloan from a bank as that is great foir your credit report when they see a bank lent you money and you are paying, these ppl are scam artists, also see my omvic complaint, complaint to the MTO as theres no way a vehicle with bad brakes can pass a safety yet a safety was singed on this vehicle with bad brakes, and my complaint on ripoff report .com, and all the recordings on youtube, buyers beware if you wanna buy a headache, shop at Anderson Kia, however I suggest you STEER Clear of these guys and all their bad faith business practices
