Lockwood Kia Was not the dealership where I purchased my new Sedona however because I’d had a problem with the dealership I did use I reached out to Lockwood for their assistance. As my said the Sedona was only three weeks old and was continuing to pull to the left eye contact the service department and ask them if they could assist and checking the alignment. I was told by the young man that if my brought my vehicle there and ask for an alignment and the problem was in fact not the alignment I would have to pay $57.50 as well as $115 an hour for labor. I explained to him that the vehicle I purchased was brand new with less than 800 km on it and he said it did not matter I would still have to pay. Needless to say I explained to him that the warranty for new vehicles covered for 20,000 km or one year whichever occurs first and he said in order for me to get it checked without a charge I would have to take a back to the dealership which sold me the vehicle. I refer you to your owners manual wear in fact while Head office says it is preferable to take it back to the dealership that sold it to you in in fact it’s not mandatory. I was not impressed with the dealership nor was I impressed with the service department of the dealership where I bought the vehicle so I am now dealing with the dealership at 4:01 in Dixie who I feel will be able to fix the problem with my brand new vehicle. To date I am not pleased with the service I received from Kia and had I known this when I bought the vehicle I would’ve shopped and bought a Ford or Mazda.
I purchased a Kia Soul. Salesman was helpful and kind. Did not feel harassed like other dealerships. Car was delivered on time, set up and ready to go. Would recommend this dealership to anyone !
We had a very good experience. Dealt with Dave who was very helpful and full of info without seeming pushy. We liked the Sorento, but in the end chose to go with Subaru Crosstrek. We thought the Lockwood dealer experience was better but in the end we preferred the Subaru.

Decide to take my car there for an oil change and was very satisfied with the service. Wait time was very reasonable. Dealing with Chris was an absolute pleasure. He didn't rush me into anything or give me the first financing offer he had. He took the time to make sure I was getting the best deal possible. Nice and cozy dealership. I was looking for a minivan and after test driving Odyssey and Sienna I was really surprised how much better Sedona is. Drives more like SUV than minivan and it have upscale interior compared to Japanese counterparts. Buying experience was great too thanks to Colin - no pressure, no rush, friendly conversation and he got me a good deal for my trade. If you're looking for a minivan definitely check out Sedona - you'll be positively surprised! Will go back to Lockwood if I need another KIA.

I had the absolute BEST experience here I’ve ever had while car shopping. I needed a vehicle that same day and Lake and his team pulled off the impossible.
Lake was super knowledgeable about the vehicle and really gave me a first class experience. There was no game playing and only AAA service. Not only did Lake pull off the impossible in just a few short hours, he also personally cleaned the vehicle, had it licensed and delivered it to my home early that afternoon.
Next time I’m in the market for a new car I will absolutely visit this location and ask for Lake. The entire staff at this location is wonderful and there isn’t a single thing more I could have asked for.

If you want buying / leasing a new car to be a fun experience, please take my advice and think again about going to Lockwood Kia.
My husband and I went to Lockwood Kia after deciding we wanted a 2020 Kia Sportage because of the good reviews the dealership had compared to others in our area. We would have been the easiest customers ever as we had done some shopping around and knew exactly what we wanted. We were able to agree upon a price for both our new car and our trade in on the first night we visited which was fantastic. It looked like everything would go smoothly and they would have a car for us later this week.
After signing all the paperwork with the Finance Manager (Lily), we were treated poorly afterwards - guess they figured they had us locked in so they didn’t need to do anything along the timelines provided or honor their commitments in that regard. We had to constantly follow up in emails that went unanswered to the Finance Manager and sales team where she asked for paperwork we had already sent and no one would give us an answer on when we were going to get our car. When we finally had an appointment set up (a week after they told us it would be ready) we arrived and the Finance Manager had just left the documents there for the salesperson to review with us (which wasn’t their job and was completely disrespectful since he wouldn’t have been able to make any changes if there was an issue, apparently she just decided to leave early that day and not do her job). Furthermore, wrong information was put in our permit and the wrong VPN was given to us so more follow up with the Ministry of Transportation and our insurance company so a lot of extra work on our end.
Additionally, there was no cheque ready for our trade-in car which looked completely shady. Who wants to leave their keys and registration and all their information with a dealership that has only told you once what they would offer for the car? Who’s to say they wouldn’t change their minds after the way they had honoured their other commitments? Mike, the Sales Manager, didn’t offer us any apology for our trouble and joked about just offering us a coffee mug for the pain of us having to come back and do our car trade on a different day. So don’t expect a high level of customer service from him - he doesn’t care about customers, just getting sales.
All in all, there were a few more incidents that I won’t bore everyone with that were what I would consider both sexist and disrespectful to both my husband and I since we’re younger and the management team there thought they could get away with it. We’re excited to have our new Kia now because it seems to be a great car, but we’re so disappointed in the way we were treated that I would never recommend to anyone to go to this dealership even though we are happy with the car so far.
If you want to do all the work and feel like you’re not cared about during a big purchase, go to this dealership. If you want to be respected during the process and enjoy it, I would most definitely recommend finding another!

I just want to give a shout out and give kudos to the Lockwood Kia Team! Charles, Lily and Mike D. made my first Kia experience a great one on the purchase on my new Kia Stinger GT Limited. I went to another Kia location, but Lockwood Kia was the dealership that had the right car and offer! I’ve been doing my research on the Stinger and this car by far is bang for the buck, I was in no rush to purchase and the timing was just right.
Charles answered all my questions, was patient and helped me make a purchase instead of selling me the car. Charles was also responsive in our email communications and he followed up with a personal email after our first meeting which was a nice touch! Charles was also the one to do the delivery and took his time to go over all the features of the car. Mike D. (General Manager) also made my experience a great one as he provided options that met my budget and an offer I that was best. Was initially very pleased with the Sales staff (2 years ago). However, the front service department has not been overly great. Have had to follow up on some of the service; staff have, at best, basic knowledge of service and 'try' to give the 'staff' answer. Rarely cleaned properly.

I bought my 2013 Dodge Journey a few weeks ago. I wanted to write a review that was objective and not all hyped up because I was excited about a new car.
So now that I have had some time to enjoy my vehicle I wanted to share my experience.
My experience started with a phone call to the dealership. I was put through to Lake. Because I was driving from Whitby to Oakville to look at a car I wanted to ensure I was not going to waste my time.
I asked my question, Lake answered them well. Took his time to listen. We arranged for a test drive and Lake went above and beyond, agreeing to come in on his day off.
I showed up for the test drive and was impressed. Discussion about the purchase was honest, and I was given all the paperwork I needed to make my choice.
Yeah! I have bought a car.
Now comes detailing and pick up. The dealership prioritized my car so it could get done faster and avoid a delay due to a holiday long weekend. I was really appreciative.
Pick up date was set and I was treated just as well as pick up. Everyone in the dealership is polite and friendly. Hot Chocolate is awesome.
We were given a little tour of the higher end cars as well. A nice treat for the boyfriend.
I am extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this dealership and will go back in a heartbeat.

This is an update: I went in for a level II service today (May 28, 2016) and Peter was the mechanic. I can tell he treated my car like his own because when my car was done, he parked it in a "no park" area away from other cars to make sure my car was "protected" but close enough for convenience. I was able to speak to him for a quick minute, really nice and friendly and gave me some good advice.
I also like the fact my car went in promptly and came out early BEFORE the promised time. Went to a Toyota dealer once and had to wait over an hour before my car went in even though I had an appointment. Now I know how patients feel in doctors offices ;-)
Service staff friendly and place is clean and comfortable. Waiting area reading material could be cleaned up a bit. Too many old magazines hanging around.
Went in today for a service call. Dealt with Jonathan at the service desk. He was real friendly and professional and efficient. He promised me the car in 45 minutes and I got it in 30 minutes. He went above and beyond for me too. I was looking to buy a snow brush and he went and asked about it and came back and gave me one for free! Amazing service! He also checked a minor recall issue with the vehicle and got that fixed for me too.
Another thing. While I was waiting in the waiting room a lady was upset because one of her car's belts had to be changed. She thought it was covered under warranty, but obviously it was normal wear and tear. Jonathan was really good with her and professional about it.
The dealership is clean, neat and airy. Would definitely recommend.
