I don't bring my Jeep in for regular service. Cooksville Dodge is to expensive. Recently I had a recall notice to replace the passenger side air bag so I booked an appointment to have the recall work done. I brought the car in and had the work done. The day after the service was done I noticed a buzzing sound coming from behind the glove compartment when I accelerated.I called Cooksville service to check what it could be. I thought that perhaps it was a loose nut or washer that was making the vibrating sound. I was told that there would be a $70 inspection fee if nothing could be found. I was sure that the new vibrating sound was a result of some error that the mechanic made on replacing the air bag. The mechanic checked the work that had been done previously but could not find anything wrong and the noise continued. I did some research for similar vibration noises and found that the glove compartment was not properly installed after the initial work was done and even after the mechanic had checked again the second time. So I brought it back. Another mechanic by the name of Mike checked it an installed the glove compartment correctly and the buzzing noise was gone. Thank you Mike. So apparently the first mechanic was incompetent and installed the glove compartment incorrectly not just once but twice. Now I paid $70 for this incompetent mechanic to incorrectly replace the glove compartment and felt that the money should be refunded since he incorrectly attached the glove compartment twice. I was promised by the service advisor, Kathy, that if the noise could be attributed to their faulty workmanship that the money would be refunded to me. However when discussing this with the service manager he refused to refund the money claiming that the noise problem had been fixed. I found the service manager unsympathetic to my cause and actually uncaring. This is not the first time that I have had problems with the service department at Cooksville. I have Gold Member Warranty status which I paid extra for when I purchased the car.

I replaced a battery on my grand caravan in September 2019. I did it as I expected to get "all Canada" Dodge warranty for new battery. The battery broken in 3 month. By that time I was in different city and try to replace it there, but found out that Cooksville Dodge installed non official battery and warranty works only in Cooksville Dodge. Nobody has advised me during the battery replacement that battery is non official and worranty is limited. As I was in 600 kilometers far away of Cooksville, I have to pay myself for battery replacement. Cooksville Dodge decline my request for refund.

I made arrangements to view/test drive a 2017 Grand Cherokee. We agreed that if the jeep were to be sold before I got there I would receive a call to inform me. I went that night driving from Kitchener to view the jeep, only to find out that it was sold shortly after I made the plans to go see it. In the future I would suggest keeping your customers informed. Had I known it was sold prior to driving I would have been willing to look at your other stock. Instead I was left with a sour taste in my mouth and purchased a Grand Cherokee from your competitor

The labor fee was higher than normal, they go by the book and not actual time taken to complete.

I got my truck serviced before the May 24 long weekend. Dropped off the truck at 11 am. Did oil change and tire rotation. On top of that there was 2 recalls done as well. I was told that it would take several hours since the recalls take time. Received a call at 4:45 that it was finished. Arrived at 5 to find my truck wheel cap was missing from my aftermarket rims. The bolts were still there but cap missing. Nobody seemed to check or know anything about it. The oil change light was still on. Not reset. The sticker on windshield from last oil change was not replaced with a new one either. Nobody could find my cap or even know what happened to it. I took pictures before bringing my keys inside at 11 am to prove it was there before service. Multiple excuses were given to me including that there must of been something wrong with the cap itself. I have a 3 year old vehicle that had been to multiple service visits and never we had issues with the caps. I was told someone would call me on Tuesday but nobody did. I went personally to see if they found it but all I got was the service manager telling me they will replace the cap. I lost 2 hours of my personal time seeking to find out what happened and I'm very disappointed in the professional conduct of this dealership. I will not be coming back if they dont make things right. The service manage offered me a I owe u in future instead of giving me some kind of gift card for the mistake.

We were looking for a Grand Caravan for our family and had visited a couple of other local Dodge dealerships. From our research we knew the specs we were looking for and were motivated to buy.
We contacted Shawn as he had come recommended and within 90 minutes, Shawn had come back to us with the vehicle we were looking for to the exact specs, firmed up the price for our trade in and was ready to get the deal signed. He even suggested other options which could have worked if he couldn't source the exact vehicle, but that wasn't needed because he came through.
Other dealerships took more than 24 hours to even come back to us, so we were very impressed by Shawn's motivation, suggestions and efficiency.
Shawn is friendly, motivated and knowledgeable. He set's out the deal and does exactly what he says he will do which can be rare these days. Shawn is honest and a man of his word and makes the whole car buying experience easy and stress free where you are usually parting with a large sum of money.
Every interaction I had with the staff there was a positive experience, everybody there is friendly and approachable.
I would definitely do business with Cooksville and in particular Shawn Yarrow again in the future, and if you are in the market for a Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep, you should too because the local competition are no where near as good.
