This will be my second vehicle purchase from Amherst Chrysler. Unfortunately, my first purchase from them, 2019 RAM 4X4 truck, was written off in an accident. With the high prices of trucks due to the supply chain issues all manufacturers are dealing with, my intentions were to purchase a used SUV and drive it for a couple of years, then purchase a new truck.
Johnny Snowdon was able to locate one within the Allen Group of Auto Dealerships that suited my needs. As with my last purchase, Johnny went over various options with me giving the pros and cons of each option. We at first went with the used Jeep Laredo option but after a couple of days of thinking about it and how much we did not use the 4X4 pick up for what it was intended, we decided to go with a new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Lardeo. A quick call to Johnny and the deal was switched to the new Jeep.
I have purchased many vehicles over the years and this has been the only time that I have returned to a dealership to purchase a vehicle. Everyone we dealt with during our first purchase to this purchase have been outstanding. We never got high pressure sales tactics or upsold on items we did not want.
I highly recommend Amherst Chrysler to anyone or to any of the other Allen Group of car dealerships as they all seem to have the same great level of service.

Over the past 50 years I have purchased vehicles in 4 of Canada's provinces; in Virginia U.S.A.; Germany and Russia. I have never really enjoyed any of those experiences. Some were better than others but nothing to write home about.
Yesterday we purchased a trailer from Amherst Chrysler. I can honestly say it was a distinct pleasure. Firstly, our sales rep Derrick was outstanding. He is personable, knowledgeable and helpful to the nth degree. Jason, sales manager was friendly and professional making us feel at home.
I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Amherst Chrysler. Perhaps saying if/when we decide to purchase another vehicle we'll make the journey from Dartmouth to Amherst once again will underline how pleased we were with this purchase.

I bought a 2015 car from this dealership in 2019 and everything was fine..almost. I knew transmission was bad before I got home [another province] and immediately took it to the proper dealer and the transmission was replaced new immediately [under warranty] ..great perfect. Car works perfect now two years later...perfect..right.. not so fast. I now would like to trade for a newer vehicle and found that there was about 8000. dollars damage on car back in 2015-18 before I bought and of course when I try to trade, dealers will discount value of car greatly making impossible to trade. I called Amherst Chrysler to see if they would rectify the problem with NO help. Kind of like ,your problem now, even though agent agreed with me... So ,I asked agent why a car with 96700kms and 4 years old wouldn't you do a car proof back then and had I known that I would never have bought, couldn't and didn't answer my question. I even agreed to buy one of there newer cars [not really what I wanted] but thought it would help them with THEIR PROBLEM, but they just discounted the car like all other dealers ..NOT HAPPY.. BBB next.. I hope now that I had this review that the owner will find out and do the right thing...

Amazing service pre and post sale. I called them Saturday morning as I was interested in one of their used vehicles from their website. Turns out it had sold the night before but they found an even better vehicle for my needs. 4-5 simple questions later my credit was approved within the hour, and my vehicle was delivered that Monday (at my preferred time) and they drove off with my trade-in vehicle. This has been, by far, my best new vehicle shopping experience. Although the pandemic has changed just about every aspect of life, Amherst Chrysler has excelled in making it easy to buy a vehicle, even from New Brunswick. I found the vehicle I wanted, at the price I wanted because of the excellent service from Derrek in sales and Sarah in finance. Unlike other places I have dealt with, there was no pressure to upgrade anything or buy extras. They even offered to deliver my new vehicle to my driveway and drive away in my trade-in due to the cross-border restrictions. I purchased an $83,000 Jeep Mojave this summer and have had the WORST experience with this dealership. The purchasing process consisted of lack of communication and lengthily delays without explanation.
Since purchasing this expensive but gorgeous Jeep I have not been able to use my Bluetooth due to some sort of manufacturing defect which was proven by this dealership. They verified my issue and have yet to address the issue and repair it through my warranty (I also paid for extra warranty on this vehicle) and over 5 months later I still cannot use this feature for calling.
My second issue was extreme damage to my rear tire fenders due to the Mojave design and rocks being thrown back. Because this model is so new they weren’t familiar with this issue but agreed at 1300km when I brought that that should not be happening and they would figure out a solution to restore the damage and prevent future.
My plan for this gorgeous truck is to vintage it out and I have been proactive with every issue to communicate with the dealership and figure out solutions.
My third issue was the soft top that came packaged in the bed of my truck had a mouse build a home into it at some point prior to purchase causing severe damage to the fabric having it unusable. Again my sales rep Stevie assured the issue would be resolved but then came back and said it wasn’t their problem.
I love this truck but buying it from Amherst Chrystler was the biggest mistake. Stevie and Jason would say to my face that they would take care of me and would completely ghost me and not even return my calls.
I even called John the GM and left 2 voicemails and he has yet to return my calls as well.
Really sad service by local maritimers.

I bought a Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Willys edition from Johnny Snowdon at Amherst Chrysler this year. It was a fantastic experience despite it being a Covid-19 year. I’m from Moncton and they brought the vehicle to Sackville, NB for me to test drive which was very impressive. I loved the vehicle and how well maintained it was and bought it immediately! The post sale service was excellent as well. I had a minor issue with the radiator and they replaced it for free despite it not being covered under warranty and provided me with a new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk as a loaner while they serviced it. Amazing! Johnny was really easy going and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Unfortunately, I was in an accident and wrecked the Jeep after a few months of owning it. While I was recovering from surgery I received a cheque in the mail from Amherst Chrysler for a refund on life insurance I had purchased. I was blown away! The service and integrity I experienced from this dealership and Johnny is unparalleled in my experiences. Thanks for the all you did to help me get into my first Jeep and I will always keep you folks in mind whenever I am looking for another in the future!

MVI failed. So, I replaced a tail light. They also said I needed inner tie rod ends. Doubtful, I took it elsewhere. No issue with tie rods. I went to a third place for the MVI. Passed. No issue, with tie rods. Friendly though.
Great dealer with very friendly staff found the truck I was looking for and very pleased with the price.

We took our Jeep in for service on what we were told was a recall. After two weeks of calling and calling we were finally told our car was not covered, It was a warranty issue that had expired. That's not what upsets me, it the being ignored day after day while the answering machine says calls will be returned within the hour. Would like give zero stars, like the zero dollars I will ever give them!! Have a nice day Amherst Chrysler!
Came up from Antigonish specifically to see a vehicle that was advertised as having a panoramic moonroof (twice in 2 areas of the listing). Got here. No moonroof. Salesman didn't seem to care about the error on their end. Wasted $60 and 6hrs of our day. Was even speaking to another salesman several weeks ago about it and he even stated about the $1500 moonroof option.
While our salesman Jason was out sick, we dealt with another team member named Matt regarding the purchase of a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Limited. We had hoped to complete the deal today. Instead Matt sold the vehicle to someone else while we were waiting for him to email us the final numbers so we could go to the bank and get the draft. WE ARE VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMERS AND WILL NEVER DEAL WITH OR PROMOTE AMHERST CHRYSLER. Not all did Matt screw us over, he screwed over a fellow team member, Jason. The only reason I even them 1 star was because of the excellent customer service we received from Jason.
I just bought a car from this dealership and got fantastic service from both Johnny and Jessica who went the extra mile to make sure I was happy as we worked through the purchasing process (making calls on my behalf, being very accomodating, etc.). But the best has been the after sale service with Johnny going as far as giving the US border service a call to make sure that I had all the paperwork I needed to cross into the US with my new car (I live in Ontario and got temporary paperwork done through the dealership). He also got me a detailed estimate of options done by another dealership for a new key. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this dealership for it's high standard of customer service and helpfulness.

I recommend Tri County Ford 🙂. Did have a couple of dealings with Amhesrt Chrysler and it was very difficult even to just have warranty work done on my Jeep. Hopefully will not have to ever go back.
My husband and I initially had a pleasant customer experience with the sales representitave. He informed us he would contact us with financial options and than never ended up phoning us. So, my husband took it upon himself to contact him a day later and the salesman once again informed he would call back with information. Unfortunately, we were met with disappointment again and never received a phone call.
Fantastic people to talk to and a very friendly atmosphere. If you are looking for a great show room with experienced salespeople and unbeatable prices, this is definitely the place to be. I just purchased a brand new vehicle and signed the papers in no time. Highly recommended.

Took my car in on August ,12,2016 to get a cracked flexplate fixed. They jerked me around forever with constant excuses finally "finishing the job" on August 31,2016 only for me to have to sign a waver stating my car was unsafe to drive! while removing a bolt (in the axel) they broke it off in the engine block and now claim its not their fault. So my car was technically drive able before the repair and now afterwards its unsafe to drive!
