Used Car (Sales)

I'm a young professional woman looking to buy a new car. I always liked Jeeps so I thought I would look at this dealership. I brought my father to share in the experience with me. We were given Yadi as a salesman. Yadi was awful, he directed all of his comments to my father and although I was buying the vehicle, I had little say on the car. Briefly, his comments towards me were patronizing and borderline rude; however, I tried not to think too much about it. I liked the 2014 Jeep Compass and decided to put a $500 HOLD on the car while I was waiting for my financing options. That evening, my father and I discussed Yadi's behavior and we were both put off by his tone with me. I decided not to take the car, and wanted to look around for a better experience. As a paying customer, this is my right.
I called into the dealership the next day and told them I was walking away because I was not interested in the car. Yadi was very upset. He started getting extremely angry and his behavior was not something I wanted to deal with. He called me a few times at work and on my cell. I called into the main office, and asked for a sales manager. I was re-directed towards Roderick, the TEAM LEAD on sales, but not the sales manager.
Roderick PRETENDED to be the sales manager and began terrifying me that if I walked away I already owned the car and this is forbidden under some made up law. I looked it all up, since, well, we can do that in 2015, and this was not the case.
I emailed the GM who took my difficulties lightly and promised me a better customer service experience.
I am sharing my experience here so that other young, professional hardworking men or women do not have to deal with pre-conceived notions, sexism and unfair practices from any dealership. My first car buying experience was awful. It is solely because of this dealership. Please avoid going here.

Used Car (Sales)

I recently had a bad experience at this dealership. I had made arrangements to test drive a vehicle. I called 15 minutes before my arrival to inform them that I would be a bit late. They told me the vehicle would be waiting for me outside. When I arrived they told me the power steering stopped working that morning. They could have saved me a trip but wanted me through the doors because they then tried to get me to put a deposit on the vehicle before test driving (and in need of repairs) I said I would wait until I test drove it. I was advised it would take a few days to fix. I was told after a few days it would take a week. During this time I was in close contact with the salesmen trying to organize a test drive when it was repaired and he advised me that he would keep me informed. On one of my phone calls to the dealership, I was told the price had gone up $1500. I was surprised but told the salesman I was still interested. He told me he would keep me updated with any progress or changes. When I called a few days later, he told me it had sold. Despite his assurances, he never notified me of the price change or the sale despite my keen interest. He then offered to keep an eye out for me which I declined. It was clear there was zero loyalty to customers and the focus is entirely on commission.

If you know exactly what you want and don't need any help from a salesman, I'm sure this dealership is fine. The salesman realistically didn't owe me anything, I understand that, but it something about how everything transpired felt wrong. Needless to say I went elsewhere and am pleased I didn't give my money to a dealership that puts little value in their customers

To-day arrived from a small town to the big city and wondered what to expect....was ushered right in for an oil change and service. The advisor, the service tech and the parts dept were all very helpful and outstanding in their manner and professionalism

I purchased my Jeep in 2010 and haven't regretted it - I LOVE my Jeep! Everyone who knows me knows I love my Jeep. Taking it in to get repairs done has been hassle-free, they always call with an estimate (except last time they forgot to call to tell me it was ready). Very courteous workers in all departments!
