What a bogus reply. I already talked to one of your managers as I wanted to provide this feedback privately, not publicly. When he basically told me to Bog off I decided to make this public. I am not phoning you back just so you can further insult me.
How this place shows an average score on Google of 4.2 I have no idea. There are literally hundreds of 1 and 2 star posts when I read through the reviews. Their Yelp rating is 1.5. I rated them a 1 because all I did was send in an Auto Trader request to see if they still had a certain vehicle in stock. I got 3 emails from a salesman in under two hours and another one from the Internet Sales Manager in less than 24 hours. All asking for more contact info and when was I coming in to see the vehicle. This much pressure and I haven't even crossed the threshold tells me I need to shop somewhere else. The other 1 and 2 star ratings seem pretty spot on.
Dave was an outstanding salesman, very informative and knowledgeable. Any questions I had he found out if he didn't already know. Over and above as far as taking care of what I needed or any concerns.

My experience in purchasing a vehicle from Derrick Dodge was nothing short of excellent. From the online chat to phone calls to in person vehicle delivery, all methods of interaction were top notch. Specifically, Kyle (sales) and Kalvin (finance) made the process of searching and purchasing my vehicle very easy. They were even able to delivery my vehicle from their dealership in Edmonton to Calgary. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Very impressed with how Jay & The Derrick Dodge team handled my request to find me the Jeep that I wanted. The Rubicon was on Vancouver island & they organized to have it here in a matter of couple days, when the Jeep arrived I was in love. Once I knew I found the perfect vehicle, I went to pay Chrystal in the finance department a visit. After dealing with dealerships in the past I’ve found this part of the sale is usually the most stressful, how ever not this time, it was quite enjoyable to say the least. Chrystal’s “crystal” clear descriptions on warranty coverages, colour coded drawings, were much appreciated. She has a smile which can light up the room, and can hold a great conversation throughout the process.

Excellent service, salesman wasn’t pushy was extremely helpful and accommodating. Priced out similar trucks at another dealer in fort Mac but their price blew them out of the water. Highly recommend them if you’re looking to buy new.

I figured buying my first car would be a difficult process, and though it wasn’t without its challenges the team at Derrick Dodge, more specifically Jay, made the whole experience much easier and memorable. He walked me through the best options and answered all of my questions. Making absolutely sure I was 100% happy with my car. I couldn’t have asked for better service.
Nathan helped me with the delivery of my vehicle. He made sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner and went above and beyond to make me feel appreciated, even though he had nothing to do with the selection of the vehicle. He stood out in the pouring rain for 10 minutes just to get my license plate put on. 10/10 Service. I'm sure he would go above and beyond in that regard as well, and for that I would recommend him.
My husband was on line checking out Derrick Dodge for a new truck and was contacted the next day by Godfrey Adirika. We took a drive to Derrick Dodge and met Godfrey personally. We liked him from the moment we met him, pleasant, knowledgeable, not pushy, attentive to what we were looking for. He was able to show us 3 trucks and give us the information we wanted reference price, trade in, etc. He was so easy to talk to, he kept us informed while he was dealing with finance, managers, etc. He made our 'truck shopping' enjoyable and stress free.

I was looking to trade my car in for a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Derrick dodge had one for an excellent price. This was my first time buying a new car, as well as buying it on my own. The salesman was very caring, and the finance team took great care of me. Little to no hassle, as is the common thought when buying a car. I would recommend Derrick Dodge to others.
Derrick diagnosed a difficult transient head gasket issue that other shops could not, also caught a driveline noise (diff) that everyone including our own drivers missed. We were treated with urgency, and had our issues cleaned up quickly.
I look after our fleet of trucks and downtime is very costly for us; service was fast and with no callbacks. We'll continue to use Derrick for the excellent service and fair pricing - thanks for your very experienced mechanics, and to Jamie and Jade for taking good care of us!
A big shout out to Kyle and Christopher for getting me set up with my new 2018 Jeep Wrangler. They were very clear and explained everything thoroughly with the whole process. Props to Kyle for helping me out and getting me a temporary loaner vehicle while they were prepping the Jeep with the additional options. My Service representative Jamie is professional and friendly. She is able to answer my technical questions. I really loved the fact that my car was washed. I am a long time customer of 20 years and this made me feel appreciated as a customer.
I have to say my experience here was amazing. Fast reliable and friendly. I bought my Mercedes online, then they drove it 4-1/2hrs to my house. The whole team was prompt and would answer any questions or concerns right away. I was having a hard time dealing with other dealerships and these guys made the car buying experience fun again!

Who takes a $500.00 deposit for a truck, is asked kindly to hang onto the truck so you can drive there with your wife to buy the truck, but then sells the truck behind your back, refuses to pay the money back unless you come and get it yourself? WHO DOES THAT?

There is a customer to business unspoken of respect that should be maintained, and this dealership completely butchered that.

He was interested in one particular truck. And after taking his deposit, you sold the truck to someone else. Plain and simple.
And even after asking for his money back, he was told he must come to the dealership to retrieve it. And you’re saying the sales person wanted to apologize and explain what happened and give his deposit back? Something isn’t right there ...
Why would you make someone come to you to get their money back after you’re the one who made the mistake?

I have been buying vehicles from Derrick Dodge and have also used their in house financing for over 10 years. My most recent purchase was it 2018 Dodge 3500 longhorn dually. My experience with them has been excellent. They are incredibly easy to work with and have always made each and every experience smooth and quick. All the staff that I have dealt with were friendly and professional and on numerous occasions have gone above beyond. Specifically Lance Norris in the sales department, he is very down to earth, straight forward and just a cool guy to work with.
“Love the guy!” I wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy a vehicle.

Chad has helped us over the years in selections of vehicles for us and he never fails. we sat down with him and explained what our requirements were whether it be used or new and he delivered. We chose a brand new 2018 3/4 ton for towing our trailer. This is the person to go to, he will help you out make suggestions, plus very good in explaining in what the vehicle has before purchasing. The worst costumer service I have ever had . Gave them a few chances nothing changed . The girl on the phone told me if I don’t like Derrick Dodge I should go else where . She said “ You know there’s other Jeep dealers in Edmonton why are you dealing with us ? You should go else where? “ I thought she didn’t just say that to me ?????? Great way to keep a costumer. I think I will take her advice and go else where . I’m sure the other dealers will appreciate me as a costumer. I also didn’t feel that they were honest at all about the services the Jeep needed. Just went to get tires switched leaving with a $1000.00 dollar bill both times . Happy to go elsewhere and be treated better .
Derrick dodge is the best dealership in the city with out a doubt. After a week and a half of wasting my time at other dodge dealerships in the city I decided to try derrick dodge, first thing I noticed that they were honest and genuine. They price they quoted me was thousands less then the best prices at the other dealerships. Talk to Sven!! The finance guys are really good to.
Traded my 2011 Ford Explorer to a new 2016 Grand Caravan. Choosing the right vehicle for my family was not difficult with the help of Jay Macintosh. He knew exactly what we wanted. On May 17 I went on to Derrick Dodge website to see if they had any vehicles I would be interested to buy. Now six days later I am the owner of a new Dodge Journey. My Sales Rep Matt Ewaskow was awesome. He was professional and patient. My emails and telephone calls were answered in a timely manner no matter what time of day decided I need to ask a question .Between Matt and Jim Hew my transaction was seamless. I was kept informed at all stages and things were explained to me in terms that I could understand. I live almost 3 hrs out of the city and my vehicle was promised and delivered with no extra charge. I will definitely refer my friends to Derrick Dodge and if needed do business with them again. Kudos to the team which includes the gentleman and lady that delivered the car.

It seems every reviewer here had a different experience according to which salesperson they dealt with. You have to realize that although they're under Derrick Dodge, all the salespeople are competing with each other, and each salesperson works differently.
I personally had a great experience at Derrick Dodge. Bought a 2014 Jeep Patriot from Maxx, who was very helpful and friendly and easy to reach. Worked out a good deal, then came to pick up the vehicle a few days later and it was all cleaned up and washed. Smooth transaction, nothing else to say. Love my Jeep.
