Dropped car for repair. Pre planned with 3 seperate staff members a hood hinge replacement. When they seen car they refused to replace it as they said it was a "body shop job". Asked for door key to be made, was told had no keys. Staff member seamed offended when complained. Wanted $500 for key and fob. Parts guy was awesome and staff were great with appointment and work with recall but dropped the ball on hinge replacement and their ability to deal with a disappointed customer. Communication was good. I will go back for recalls but not for service work.

My car was having transmission issues so I took it to my usual mechanic who did a full inspection and topped up all my fluids. He said I had to go to the Birchwood Infiniti dealer to get the computer updated to remove a code that only they can do. Went to Birchwood and they told me my transmission fluid was empty and it would cost an extra $250 to fill it up...I was pretty shocked because my mechanic had just done an inspection so the shop manager brought the mechanic out to verify that it was empty. I couldn't believe it so I called my mechanic and he said that he had just filled it the day before and there was no leak so basically they were trying to take me for a ride and overcharge me. They even told me that I needed more transmission fluid than my car could actually hold. I told them no thanks and they just did what I asked them for so I give them that at least but don't lie to your customers just so you can boost your numbers, come on guys. This one was just bad because I knew for a fact that they were lying to my face or just incredibly incompetent. I left and went to get the fluid checked a few days later and it was completely full. If you have to go to this dealer just know your stuff because they apparently will try to fool you.

Appointment booked in advance. Car dropped off Wednesday night 14 October with keys and envelope completed and placed in drop off box. Infiniti service called home instead of calling number left on drop off envelope that was filled out Thursday 15 October at 9:30 AM . Called dealership multiple times starting at 4:30 PM service, dealership manager, service manager, service advisor, stayed on hold while all were paged for 45 minutes. Finally got service manager who had service associate call at 5:30PM that car was ready, gave Credit Card info to leave paperwork in vehicle along with keys. We own two Infiniti’ and this is 2020, other dealerships send text, email and leave VM messages when car is ready for pick up. They also email or text copies of invoice with notification. Considering the cost to purchase an Infiniti this is unacceptable service. We will not buy another Infiniti which is a pity as the product is great but support lacking.

James is a great salesman. He calls you and texts you all the time during the sale process. However, once you buy your vehicle, it's a nightmare. When you choose a luxury vehicle, you assume it goes with a luxury service, but not with this dealership. The list of problems I had with my vehicle is very long combined with poor service makes it a terrible experience. Stuck with them for now, but switching to Mercedes as soon as I am out of the lease.
Trust me, you don't want to be their client.

Why is it so complicated to book a service appointment with these guys? Vickar lets you pick the day, time and type of service/repair you need right from thier website. With birchwood Infiniti it takes 3 emails back and forth for them to tell you they dont have an opening for date you picked on their website..for a place that sells luxury cars..service is definitely disappointing

I went to birchwood infiniti few weeks ago.
I am not good at english, so i was little bit nervous about buying car.
I needed a used car and i had a car that looks not good.
So, i went to there. At the first time i was waiting at the front. But, nobody cares about me. So i found a dealer. He was kind and he did good. But a man looks like a sales manager is not kind.
So i told him i saw a advertisement at kijiji and i want to buy that car. So i did test driving and dealt about the price.
After applied for finance i went to back home.
Next day, i got a phone call from this dealership.
He said i was declined so i went to there again with my co signer. And i applied again.
The trouble start from hear. I had waited about a week. And i know it does not takes long time like that.
So, i went to another dealership during the wait time.
Another dealership has more reasonable price, warranty , etc.
After one week i could’t wait so i call back to birchwood infinity. They said i was declined again.
But i was approved from another dealership.
If you want to buy used car and you have not a good car for trade in, i recommend do not go there. They just care about brand new car buyer. Or care about looks like have a lot of money.
I had waited more than one hour for every visiting.
It was terrible experience.

Overall, I have had a really poor experience with Birchwood Infiniti over the last few months.
I have dealt with other service centres with other brands of vehicles and, in comparison, I would not recommend going here. It is unfortunate that they are the only Infiniti dealership & service centre in Winnipeg because it is difficult for any other mechanic/service centre to diagnose common electronic problems in Infiniti vehicles. They told me that there would be a “95% chance” that the lights on the dashboard I had popping up would be fixed if I did a $1130 repair (not including the diagnostics I also paid for from them). I paid them to do the repair and it did not stop any of the dashboard lights from still appearing. They were nice during the whole process but being nice doesn’t negate the fact I spent over $1100 on a problem they said would likely be fixed and they did not fix it - refusing to even reduce the price for not fixing the problem. If you live in Winnipeg I would be extremely cautious before buying an Infiniti if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on repairs.

Would never buy anything from Birchwood ever again. Sold me a lemon of a truck under the pretense that there was nothing wrong with it. Had a check engine light on, they couldn't fix it, spent thousands of dollars trying to get it fixed. Do not have the truck any longer. Highly recommend staying away from this not so reputable dealer.

Bought a great little used car this past winter from Birchwood Nissan. I had a odd sounding noise coming from the front right side so I stopped by Birchwood Nissan to have them take a look. They made me feel right at home. I got driven to Polo Park on their dime, had a great day shopping, then received a call later that day saying my car was ready to be picked up. Someone from the Birchwood Auto Group's shuttle service department came and picked me up and took me back to the Nissan dealership. No hassles and no worries. Thanks guys!

I came in on a Saturday, without an appointment. It was 2:30 and the service department was closed but there was still a few employees there, one of them was Josh. When I went to him I asked him if they were still open, and I was told no. However I told him how I was on the way to the lake and that I heard a hissing sound from the tire. He still came out and looked at it and found a screw in my tire and went to find a tech, Jeff, who came out and stayed late to fix it for me! This is service that blew my mind and I would recommend both Jeff and Josh to everyone!
