New Car (Sales)

I went for regular oil change on February 2020 and ever since was facing issues with my car hood and battery. The hood would latch but the sign on the dashboard would show and because of that the alarm would turn on draining the battery. I paid for Hyundai road side assistance and called them to give me a battery boost. The problem occurred couple of times where the battery would drain completely, so I took it back to dealership and mentioned about both the hood sign showing on my dashbaord and my battery is draining. They checked and said both the battery and hood are fine (Paid: 48.77). I went back home and the issue did not get resolved with battery or the hood sign. I again called Hyundai road side assistance couple of time and took it back to the dealership. This time they said, since the problem is back, we will have to change the battery. Since my battery was not under warranty, I had to pay 401.82. I went back home and the issue was not resolved with the hood or the battery. I took it back to the dealership and this time they changed the latch on the hood (covered under my warranty) and the hood sign got resolved and battery stopped draining. In spite of mentioning numerous time about the hood sign, they misjudged the situation and replaced the battery at the cost totaling $450.59. I explained this to the dealership (George) July 2nd, I put in a complaint on Hyundai Canada website on July 20th, I called the 1-888-216-2626 on August 5th and I again called them today and still no luck with resolving the issue.

Hyundai Kona 2021 with 1471 kms, and one window motor is already broken. The dealer gave me an appointment to fix it, but after waiting for 2 hours, I was told that they have to give me an other appointment because they have to order the parts. Plus the mechanic thinks that was necessary to remind me that the car is dirty.

I made an appointment 10 days from calling. The day before my appointment they call to confirm and leave a message saying there will be a $12 covid cleaning fee. When I mentioned they couldn't tell me this when I made the appointment I get they must have forgotten. All I was there for was an oil change @132k. Obviously they are hard up for money because they try telling me the timing belt is finished, and I should change the ac belt and another belt because it will just cost me the parts with no extra labor it they change the timing belt. roughly $200 plus about 3 hours at over $100/hr. I declined. I saw the receptionist to pay who was busy chatting with a colleague. I paid $80+ and was asked for my email to send me my bill. I refuse and was told we are not allowed to give you the work order. She hands me the credit card receipt and continues chatting to her colleague. I had to ask if there was anything else and was told I'm done with you. I'll tell you guys this.......I'm done with Saint-Laurent Hyundai. Being a Hyundai owner since 1989 I miss the good old days of Ulsan in the West Island. Thank you Peter Kroft and the everyone else who worked there til it was sold.

The VP Mario made sure that as a customer, I was treated with courtesy and that I was important enough for them to go far and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Which I am. The staff at this place has an insanely rude attitude. Particularly the receptionist that answers the phone who sounds like she doesn’t want to be there. On two separate occasions I tried to call and get an appointment to service my car which the company had issued a recall for and the two times she picked up the phone on two separate days she was completely rude and didn’t want to help. Previous reviews also note her unacceptable behaviour and it appears the management does not listen. She should definitely be fired and I will make sure to complain to the management as a first step when I go to the location. My advice: take your business elsewhere.

I bought my Elantra here in 2011 and I just bought a used Accent here. In general, I've been satisfied with the deals I've been offered for these two cars, but that doesn't mean there's no room for improvement.

I can see why millenials hate going to car dealerships and prefer to shop on line. The sales people tried to insert a $500 preparation fee for the used car, which they waved once they found out I had bought a car there in 2011. In hindsight that credit should have gone to reduce the price not too offset their hidden fees. Then when I picked up the car, they told me I couldn't pay for it by credit card, even though there are visa and MasterCard stickers on the doors to the sales center. These are minor annoyances for boomers but serious annoyances to millenials.

Their website is really bad, you can't even ajust the budget without it refreshing in the middle of your action. After that from what I've seen, its more expensive. The sales team couldn't even been reached or any other technical help. I won't even try to go there. If you are searching for a Hyundai, the Brossard one is very good and for now, the Laval site is working. I will skip the st laurent one unfortunately. And whenever i will need another car, this one will be on the bottom of my list. Very incompetent.

Today one day again i went there for service i have wrote this review the sales person said i was favor on me seriously?? i had an regular appointment on 8th June 2020 just 4 days after and wait seriously?? they do me favor dude i paid 22000 cad for car how can some does favor on me when i am paying in exchange of car any ways, i went in morning to change just tiers service department took car at 9 am inside but at 11 also it was not done they said about corona situation yes i know what is going around but hey you give me an APPOINTMENT for that time. well awesome thing is they need to put me whole day just to change tier COME on men you don't need whole car to just change tier ohhhh wait i remembered yes they might be need because one time they took 5 whole hours to just wash my car from JUST OUTSIDE... after all these things happens i only think what management is doing??

I have a very bad experience with the financial department as he worked to mislead me with information and answer my questions contrary to what I found next. Since i went to buy my new car, the finance department employee told me that he has apromotion full 6-year warranty, even though my car is still under warranty and new. When I asked him about this warranty , he told me that it’s normal price is $ 2800 and the promtion is now $ 2000. This money can be recovered whenever you want if you didn’t use this warranty . I asked him this promotion like i put my money in the bank and he said yes He said you have the opportunity now to take it because my car is new and if the car exits now from the agency I will not be able to take this offer so I told myself that I do not have time to think if I need this promotion or if useful for me and since I can recover it whenever I want so I will take it now and see if I will continue with it or not . because the employee financial officer told me that I can recover my money and I will not lose anything. When I returned after a while to him to retrieve the warranty money, I was surprised that what he told me was not true, and that I must ask Hyundai canada for money, and I must give them a convincing reason in order to return my money . and this money will return back if i sold the car for owner because if i sold it to dealer i will lose the money or i must move out of the country to return my money . and at the financial department no one told me that I signed the warranty papers and did not give me any copy of the warranty and denied everything he said to me when he sold me this warranty . knowing that my friend was with me when I bought the car and the warranty and he can confirm all this talk . after that i went to the manager with my friend and explained every thing for him and he promised me that he will try to return the money back but they called my and said that my claim denied from hyundai canada . so this situation is not happening because i don’t know what i want but it happened because the financial employee gave me wrong information just to buy this promotion and he take his commission and i am very sad to know that this procedure happened in dealer for hyundai canada

Wouldn't recommend to visit this place. I booked an appointment 3weeks in advance to get a safety inspection done. I clearly told the lady over the phone about my reason for the visit. I even confimed if everything will be done on the same day and if not I can choose to come on a different day. But, when I brought my car to the service station, I was told that it would take 2hrs for the whole inspection and cannot be completed due to insufficient time and the next appointment is about 20days. No respect for others time?

BTW, oil change and changing tires took 2hours with an appointment.

This is my first experience with their service, went in there service to investigate acceleration issue in my Hyundai Tucson 2012 (the car had problem to accelerate) after drive test they told me nothing is wrong with the car and charge me 60$. Next week Acura Laval discovers that exhaust system is broken and need to be changed. I don’t understand how they are not able to know how their cars are working normally or not. I’ll never return to this service for reparation

Honnêtement c'est le meilleur service que je n'ai jamais reçu. Le vendeur vient vous voir avec plein d'humour durant votre attente pour vous dire ce qu'il se passe et vous mettre à l'aise, on ne vous force absolument pas à remplacer des pièces, vous pouvez être dans le garage avec le garagiste pour regarder son travail et vous le faire expliquer...et le mécanicien vient même vous faire un dessin à la fin pour mieux vous faire comprendre ce qui se passe...
Je me suis fait avoir tellement de fois par des petits garagistes, et aujourd'hui, je préfère payer un peu plus cher la main d'oeuvre mais avoir un service de qualité! je ne vais nul part ailleurs!
