I negotiated what I thought was a very good deal I was immediately given $750. No haggle discount when I put my research on the sales persons desk. I was in good shape to Finnish the deal the next day with my sales person
and 2 managers. I was ready to close the deal and was asking for free winter tires rims and a 1 year storage for the tires. and a $200 colour charge. Ok so I reviewed the above added the already promised $750. Only to be told the $750 was off the plate due to the value of the the discounts above. I was not happy and no matter what I tried they were not going to give me the &750. No haggle deal. How is it that if I get the above deal I loose the $750. Firm discount ???
My background is in commission sales and felt I had been ripped off and I am still of the mind they stole my haggle discount of $750.00.
I will give you the haggle discount, I will then give you discounts everyone gets then I will steal the promised Haggle discount back. It looked good on paper until they stole my money from me. While I did not fall for it they did achieve what they wanted they wore me out asking you didn’t really think you were getting our discounts and the no haggle discount do you, our discount is greater than the no haggle discount it is one or another not both. a RIPPED OFF , TRICKED, MANIPULATED,SCAMMED, ..............I Would suggest to other clients at Ajax Hyundai not to use the discount until all negotiations are done, keep it hidden don’t let them know you are a no haggle client . Play their game by lying, manipulate the numbers throughout the negotiation so they are not aware what a snake you are being . Promise to purchase all add ons, rust proofing, extended warranties, then as you are signing “ what ? I certainly did not commit to anything , you heard me wrong , surely your mistak

Sales part was fine, but not disclosing the right information before the closing. The wear and tear Insurance, I was given just one option. I ask other Insurance with different features, I was told its not available.
When I found out that the other insurance was available on Hyundai canada website, I showed it to the dealer and he did research and came back with the pricing. I am fully confident that he gave me the wrong price to sell earlier policy.
The behavior of all staff was horrible, once you have any trouble. GM will direct your email to some one, she directed me to other gentlemen because you book the car and paid the deposit so you are completely f****d off.

This was my third Hyundai car purchase, First from Ajax Hyundai and I had the worst ever experience.
I visited the dealership and got the deal, till then everything was fine. After deduction of initial deposit payment, I was directed to Finance department and it started series of falls information and they lied to me to sell the protection insurance they want.
When I ask some other insurance product which is much cheaper option, I was told that the insurance premium is the same for both the option and its not available anymore. When I check the Hyundai website and found out that it is available, I lots the trust. I went back to the dealer to cancel the deal, but I was told that all sales are final and can not be canceled.
Entire team was united and was not responding any communications on time. All I was force to close the deal.
If you want to deal with the dealership, pls make sure
1) You read all documents and understand its final sale before signing the deal.
2) For any information or quote for additional insurance even fiance tell you its not available, you document it and get it signed by Finance department to have a proof of their communication.
3) Or go to the other dealership, which are more open for any of your questions or issues. They will not let you wait for hours for any response.
I would surely not recommend any purchase from Ajax Hyundai.
I wouldn't deal with this place. According to this dealer a 1.5 year old Honda with 12k millage is worth 12k. Joke

I had a good experience with the personnel at Ajax Hyundai. The salesman (Jerome) and the sales manager (George) went out of their way to provide the car with the features I wanted with a few extras thrown in at the price I was looking for.
Went to a different dealership and almost bought the Tuscon but on my way home I decided to stop at Ajax Hyundai. I'm glad I did because I got a better deal and actually had a good time there. Oliver is the best to deal with. He is a salesperson I would return to because I like the way he is. Not pushy and eager to help.

The second I walked in I was greeted by Eddie, I was just there to pick up my mom but I got to thinking, maybe it is time to upgrade. I made an appointment for the next morning with Eddie and I am so very glad I did. Right from the beginning it was a very easy and smooth transition, he is incredibly knowledgeable and because of this it was extremely easy to trust he had my best interest at heart. He took the time to listen and answer questions to really understand what I was looking for in a new car. We looked at used and new, he ran the numbers for me to get me the best deal and in the mean time my sister and I took the 2019 Tucson for a test drive (basically sealing the deal). I truly feel without Eddies guidance and advisement I probably would have just walked away thinking ' at least I know my options for the future' ... it also was a plus that Eddie is an entertaining guy, super easy going which is kind of hard to come by in sales these days. Buying a car can be a stressful experience, but their smiles and easy going manner went a long way to making us feel comfortable. There was no pressure to buy. Even if we didn't buy, the team left me with the impression I was welcome back at any time. I must say Brian and the team treated me and my car with top notch service. 10 stars. But while there I told Brian I need winter rims and tires, so he took me to the parts counter to talk to someone. The three of us discussed a $2100 package rims,tires and valve censors. I was told to order them now (Aug2) to beat the rush.So I agreed and asked if I needed to pay. They said it would be attached to my name. Well 8 weeks later I called about my tires. One email, three phone calls 2 messages one to a new person and a machine. On call 4 in the week I talk to a nice lady the 2 stars and was told no order was placed. Well I am glad I didn't wait until November to come for my tires. The parts department needs a change. Oh well a 2100 sale gone.(please don't respond by telling me to call anyone 4 calls is enough).

Seeing how pleased we were with our Sonata, our daughter bought an Elantra from Ajax Hyundai, specifically dealing with Oliver. I was with her a few times during her shopping and was quite impressed myself with Oliver as her salesperson. When time came for us to purchase a second vehicle, we were already sold on getting a second Hyundai product as well as making sure we also dealt with Oliver. Now that the time has come to replace the Sonata, we, yup, went back to Ajax Hyundai and Oliver.
He is very easy to deal with as well as being very friendly (even when we bring a car there for service) and honest about the various choices and options we have. He is very comfortable to work with. I am even telling my son to make sure he deals with Oliver as he looks into purchasing a new car.

I would recommend here. Well, the negotiations could have been a little better in the first go. I had to use every trick of the trade to get the best price... but then again every dealership would want to convert every penny to profit. But from service and experience perspective this place is gold. Ask for Eddie... he actually took some time off his off day and came down to help me. Very helpful!

He made sure that the price was in my budget and in fact I matched the price and quality of service with few other dealers who didn’t even come close. They have a great service department. When I went in the first time to have my winter tires put on my new vehicle, I accidentally indicated that I needed an additional service. They provided the service, but since my vehicle didn't need it for some time, they didn't charge me for it! Sales people are nice, and will tell you everything about the car, which not all dealerships do, especially if you're a female driver they would normally assume you don't want to hear about the engine, performance, etc. Would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy or change service departments from their current dealership.
Edit: We have now purchased our second car from this dealership. We worked with Stephanie, she was fantastic. We didn't feel rushed, or pressured. She took the time to listen to our needs and addressed any concerns we might have. When we moved on to talk to the finance department, Derek took great care of us and was wonderful to work with. He went over the benefits of everything, but didn't pressure us to purchase any of the additional coverage. Peter in service is the reason we keep coming back, but everyone at this dealership has been a pleasure to work with.

This is my third time buying a new car from a dealership, and has been my best experience so far. In other dealerships I felt the salespeople were trying to get the most they can out of me, whereas Jerome and the manager Jenny really heard us, and looked to meet our needs. They suggested the best options that met our needs and budget.
I did my research prior to visiting the dealership and I know that I got a fantastic deal without breaking a sweat. Picking up the car was equally pleasant experience, Jerome took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the vehicle and understood the features.
