I had a service on the recall issue with reviring and engine change. After I picked up the car a yellow blinking on the dashboard, plus the car slowing down, trying to stop, than jump -very frightening. Beside the hood the side of the car was warm after 5 minutes of drive.

I had a very smooth operational car before this.

The car was picked up by Gyro Hyundai, in a few ours was delivered to me. I was not informed about the issue, what was wrong, if the engine was new in it, or the wiring was wrong. I also tried to talk to the manager, who was not available and did not return my call.

Many times I complimented the service at this dealership, now I have a mixed feeling about the technical capability of the place.

Great group of people, Jason was really good at explaining everything to me during the test drive and selling process. If I had to give one feedback is that they should add to the lease quote the protection plans that they push you after you made up your mind about getting the car. My monthly payment went up by 30% with the lease protection plan (sold when I decided to apply for the lease) and the wear and tear protection plan (sold to me during the car delivery). I totally understand I could easily have said no to both, but they should be more upfront about these costs. Other than that, it was a nice experience, getting my first car in Canada with them.

A little bit on the slow side at times for repairs/maintenance.
So I came in Tuesday because my automatic driver's seat couldn't recline properly. They said we have to order the part so we agreed on Saturday morning . I came Saturday morning. Part was not there they said they have to order part two of the part come back Thursday. So no one called me to tell me that the parts weren't ready on Saturday? I just get a confirmation email to please just come in. Wasted my time and altered my plans. Had to minus a star for that as well. I know this is Hyundai but please get more organized and focussed. Please value customers time and money . Thank you. Some days they are also disorganized. Seen other customers complaining as well. Very slow

If you are looking to lease an amazing car and get the best price in the market, I highly recommend this dealership. I went two weeks ago just to know more about the process to lease a new car as a newcomer in Canada. I was nervous and inexperienced about this topic. The information person directed me to talk with a sales agent. He explained everything in the best way possible and was always asking me if I understood everything well. After I explained to him that I had a tight budget for this car, he talk to the Sales Manager (Josh). He took a seat with me and treated me like a friend, explained again in more detail, helped me to understand what car works better for my needs and he tried to give me best price he could. He also told me about winter tires, and gave me a discount in these.

What a good deal for me. Where can you find a place where the sales manager take a seat with a customer on Friday evening even when the store was closed and stayed in order to help me find the car of my dreams withing my budget. Hyundai needs more sales manager like Josh, people that treat customer like friends.

Very poor service. I have been getting my car serviced there on a regular basis since I moved to Toronto. At the end of October I discovered that they have lost my tires. They kept my winter tires when I had them changed to all-seasons there in the spring. It was only after I brought my car in to be changed back to winter tires in the fall that it became clear that they have completely lost track of my tires. They appear to have lost all record of the tires and have offered no solutions. After four phone calls I still have various staff members telling me I must be mistaken and I must have taken them home myself in the spring. Of course I did not do so. As disappointed as I am to learn they lost my tires, I am far more disappointed by the customer service I have received since that discovery. Its now mid-November, I have no winter tires, no apologies or solutions offered by the dealership, and no has followed up on my calls. I would not recommend Gyro Hyundai service to anyone.

I am very disappointed that I have to write this review. I called Gyro Hyundai on Monday morning to ask them that If I can arrange to pick up my two sets of winter tires that I paid to have them stored for me. I asked them what would be the best time for me to pick them up. They informed me that 2 days would be ideal. I made an appointment for Wednesday at noon. I tried to make arrangements for me to picked them up but my current dealer said they would pick them up for me. I explained to Gyro that someone will be picking up my tires on my behalf. They explained that I would need to give a letter to the driver that is signed by me and they would release the tires. I wrote a letter without hesitation and gave it to the driver.

When the driver arrived to Gyro, he was told that they cannot release my tires and the letter meant absolutely nothing. I am now going to assume that they recognized the driver from my current dealer and decided to hold my tires, which I have paid for, hostage! I called Gyro back to try and rectify this issue. They said they needed verbal confirmation about releasing the tires. This would be the 4th call confirming the release. Although the driver had already left when I called to confirm Gyro would release the tires, thankfully I was able to catch the driver and he turned back. Gyro made him wait for the tires and they only gave him one set.

By this point, I am beyond frustrated. I called Gyro, once again, to speak to one of the owners. I was informed that they were busy and one of them would call me back. I will say that one of the owners did call me back, but when I called him back to discuss this mess, he never returned my calls. I called to speak to the Service Manager and said that I will be renting a truck to come pick up my second set of tires and to confirm that the tires are ready to be picked up. After plans were finalized and was informed that my dealer would have no problem, once again picking up my tires, Once again I provided this update to the service manager by voicemail. After no response back from the Service Manager, the driver went back to Gyro on Thursday and he had to wait 1.5 HOURS for a set of tires that I was told were sitting right at the side door where they could be loaded.

To conclude, this is not customer service, this feels like absolute resentment. I used to be a loyal customer to Gyro and brought family and friends to buy cars and get their cars serviced. I have 3 Hyundai vehicles myself that I had serviced there and when one of my cars had an issue, it wasn't urgent enough to resolve the defect. I took the car to another dealer and they in turn grounded the car because of what they found. I wanted to leave Gyro on good terms, but with the lack of respect they have shown me indicates the lack of respect they have for customers. I will not be recommending Gyro to anyone.

I bought a second hand 4Runner last week. The Manager and the staff were fantastic, helpful even though they didn't have a big margin on the deal. I went all the way from Sudbury and they understood the urgency and got all the paperwork done in few hours to release the vehicle. On top, they gave me a nice surprise. They had the number plates ready for me on a Saturday just before the closure of Service Ontario which allowed me to drive back to Sudbury the same day (the vehicle is in topping condition for its cost). Jack the finance manager is hilarious I love talking to him he’s super down to earth and cared about me getting the car, he went out of his way to be there after hours to ensure I was comfortable with the purchase and always answered questions even when I brought up my concerns about negative reviews I read. The tint came out amazing on my car and I love my car it’s soooo cute and in very good condition. I got approved and had my car within a week he even pushed the date up so I could get it faster! Diane the delivery specialist was super nice and super cute she made sure she took the time to show me the features and make sure I knew she would be available anytime to answer questions or concerns and if she wasn’t she made sure to let me know she would be in contact or directed me to talk with someone else who would already know the situation before hand, I honestly love this dealership! I have an amazing warranty, I got a free oil change and I am super happy with start to finish, I felt safe buying this car and I’m showing it off to EVERYONE, and I def will recommend this dealership to everyone. I bought my PHEV Sonata from another dealer and had issues with their service. They did not fix the "check hybrid system" that I had and it was getting very frustrated as it was dragged on for over a month. Decided that I change my service to Gyro Hyundai as it was near my workplace. Could not be happier. Hours are great. Services are excellent. Gyro not only make sure my car was fixed properly, they ensured that I am aware of the issues and kept me updated on when my car was ready. They provided me a loaner. I had a much smoother experience purchasing a vehicle from the Gyro Hyundai than I had at other dealerships, this was my first time purchasing a vehicle.

Ryan was my salesperson, he was patient and understanding enough to answer all of my questions as well as thoroughly explain the differences between any models/makes, he really helped me learn a lot about what I want in a car.

Jack & Viji helped with the financial side of things and reviewed every aspect of the bill of sale with me and my wife. They explained the benefits of having an extended warranty, as well as the paint/interior/rust protection in detail.

Rita coordinated the car delivery for us, she was able to show us all of the features available on the vehicle and taught us the basics of any of the available functions we asked about.

Overall, I had a great experience at the Gyro Hyundai and I recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

Hands down the worst customer service I've experienced. Ever! (and I've experienced some pretty bad service). Have a 2017 Tucson that has issues with the DCT - all of the things you can read about online, including power dying as you pull away from a stop. The problems were raised within the first few weeks of the lease and have been told that there is no problem, that the problem is that there is more than one person driving the vehicle (it's a software controlled automatic transmission!!) and that Corporate is aware of the problem and that it is trying to find a solution.

I've now been threatened with arrest if I visit the dealership in an attempt to address and resolve the issue (they don't like the fact I won't buy their continued BS). I've tried contacting Hyundai Canada HQ (crickets) and am now dealing with head office in Korea!

The dealer owner hasn't had the courtesy of contacting me - despite Paul making threats!!

Avoid this dealer at any cost. They appear not care about the safety of their customers. They appear not to care about their contractual obligations under the terms of the lease. They are not always completely truthful.

I financed my new car here in April.

HIGH rating: Jason was great and he made sure I was happy with my purchase and the whole process. Vijee was great as well and the financing process went smoothly...

LOW rating: I had the window tinting done as part of the package and it had bubbles, then scratches... Service manager was great as he inspected and had it redone … 3 times.

However, it was not to my satisfaction. The window tinting done did not meet my expectations at all ( still presence of bubbles and scratches on the film), quality of work was very low and the external vendor/installer was careless ( in my opinion based on my experience- the tools were left in my car and knife/cutter on the seat at one point).

The tinting is not cheap and in the process, passenger window was replaced due to scratches, my leather passenger seat will be replaced as this was damaged, and still after 3 replacement of window tint film- it’s still not professionally done.

The service from Hyundai is good as they are accommodating my requests, however; the service from the external supplier/vendor working for them is not- I hope this is something that Hyundai considers in the future for all external vendors, done for Hyundai cars on site.

For a new car, I’ve spent quite some time bringing the car back and forth at the dealership to get fixed.

Neither was said or given and when approaching the dealership for it, it turns out the sales manager left without any notice and the dealership management wouldn’t honour anything even when provided with the exact transaction details.

Sadly while I like the people who work at this place, I will not be sending more referrals to Gyro. Management clearly doesn’t appreciate business being sent over.

We had excellent and pleasant car purchasing experience in Gyro Hyundai. The staff was very friendly. Jayson was the salesperson and he helped us to find the perfect car in a short period of time . Also thanks Jack and Rita, they were amazingly helpful. They were there when we had questions but they gave us space and time to make the decision. We are very happy with this new vehicle. This was our first time buying a car in this dealership and we will purchase any future family car only here.

I was looking for a well priced new vehicle and Gyro Hyundai delivered! My experience with everyone from the receptionist to the sales manager was amazing.
Jayson Aliangan was my sales advisor and I cannot say enough about him. I live about 4 hours from Toronto and Jayson called me, texted me and e-mailed me every time I had questions or concerns. He reassured me that I wouldn't have to drive into Toronto on multiple occasions like i thought. He said they would limit the driving back and forth as much as possible for me. When i picked up my vehicle, Jayson even asked that i send him a text letting him know that i made the 4 hour drive home safely.
Jack Jin was the financial manager i dealt with and made the financial aspect of my purchase painless. He listened to what i wanted, had all the paperwork ready for when i came in and was incredibly friendly.
Stan Lubovsky, the sales manager, was the last person i spoke with. He wanted to insure there was nothing else i needed and that i was completely happy with the service i received!
Purchasing another vehicle was not something i was looking forward to, mostly because in the past i had several issues with dealerships. Gyro Hyundai and their staff made my experience enjoyable. I absolutely love my new vehicle, its great on gas, comfortable and absolutely beautiful.
You just can't beat the service I received here. I highly recommend everyone and anyone to deal with Gyro Hyundai. Even those who might not live in Toronto!
