Avoid the Service Department, horrific customer service from the person attending me and the manger who would not even come out and talk to me about my issue. The only consistency here is that if you stand waiting long enough (and you will) more customers will complain about the pricing or the service they just had. Dealer actively avoiding doing a Hyundai TSB that is documented and presented to them in my case.

So far I have had great service at this location. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The dealer has a rewards program that's not offered at any other location. Everytime you take your car for service you can accumulate "points" that can be used to pay for service once accumulated enough. It accumulates quick so its not something that takes a while. Free carwash after every service as well. Definitely recommended for service and sales.

The sales person was available to help me with my choice of vehicle right away. He showed me different models and took me out on a test drive. Getting the financing approved was done in a very short period of time. The salesman, (Hector) was always available to answer any questions or concerns that i had. Unfortunately, the vehicle i chose was not available right away, and due to the fact that i do not live in Toronto, the dealership offered me one of their vehicles to drive until the delivery of the new one. I had called the dealership a couple of days earlier to drop in for a test drive for Palisade. During our visit today, we were assigned to MM (just using initials as I don't want to mention the name). We were disappointed by the way he dealt with us. We specifically asked for a test drive, and told him honestly that we haven't made up our mind to buy this specific car, but are intrigued. Trust me, I knew the features more than he did as I researched it for two weeks. He just kept on talking about numbers as if we would not be able to afford it. We told him that we interested in one of the the two cars, Palisade or Tuscon. Despite asking for a test drive 3 times, he did not offer to take us. Instead told us that once we are decided, he will be glad to help us. If deciding about a car, and that too the one which has just been launched, was so easy without driving it, then we would go a vending machine for cars, not to a dealership. One advice to him, don't make an assumption explain how interest works with a smirk, that too to a guy (my husband) who knows ins and outs of it. And if you are waiting for a client, and don't have time for a test drive, then make another appointment before the customer leaves, instead of asking them to make up their mind if they want to buy it or not without driving it. Well, we have to buy for sure, but after a test drive, and from a different dealership. Mr. MM should learn a thing or two about marketing and humility. Marketing is not about giving your perspective clients sheets of paper with numbers (that we already knew), it is about gaining trust and building a relationship. Too bad that we have decided not to give our business to our local Hyundai dealer. We are very happy with our local Nissan and Kia dealers. My one star to this one is based on my one experience with sales rep. Hope others have positive experiences.

Their “Service Centre” should change its name to “Profit Centre”, they are in to make a profit out of you regardless of any service.

Be aware of the pricing on their website, it is missleading and as soon as they touch your car they will find “recommendations” to increase your bill 8 to 10 times their “basic services”.

Oh and I got a nice scratch on one of my doors.... I’m not coming back to this Hyundai dealer ever in my life....

On my latest visit where I attended for an emissions test that I SCHEDULED they told me when I showed up that they have no one available to do the service. On other days the waits have been ridiculous. They’ve failed to call me back to pick up my car and once to even pick me up to get it so I was stuck walking back to the business. I have never had such a horrid service experience in 45 years of driving. The service dept personnel (other Michelle) were inefficient and did not even order the part when they promised to. All I needed was a gas cap door for a 2013 car. It took almost 1 month before it arrived, was painted and was installed. Mostly because they didn't order it. The service dept manager was aware of the issue too and was also the first person I spoke with.
Maybe the owner should spend less time at basketball games and pay more attention to his business. We will NOT be buying our new car at this location or have future servicing done there. I would rather have my cars towed to another location.

Bought a Genesis from this dealership. next day I noticed that the multifunction switch is malfunctioning and headlights keep flickering and shutting off while driving on highways and roads.. Dangerous .. and they said they will order the replacement part. That was 5 months ago and i keep trying to call them and either they don't answer or they keep saying they will order and let me know when the part arrives .. But they never call back. Still trying to reach them to this day. Also note that if you notice anything wrong you get little over a month after purchasing a car to bring it in for service. It's suppose to be covered within first 36 days. Maybe they don't want to honour this commitment?

Bought a 2016 Veloster Turbo, purchased the extended warranty for $2,000 out of pocket with the sales office informing me if the warranty is not used, it will be reimbursed. Well, Vehicle was written off with 56,000 km on it , and I only JUST received a cheque for $800... Hyundai Canada is NO HELP in this matter. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE, biggest scam I have ever seen.

I usually don't rate or review in Google. But this time I am taking time to rate and review this bad experience from rexdale hyundai, not all but one arrogant, incompetent guy.
It's true that one rotten apple in a box eventually make all the apples rotten. So that one rotten apple is Anil from rexdale hyundai service dept.
He sounds as if he is doing us customers a favor. There isnt any customer service quality in him.
I received a letter for recall. Since rexdale is closer to where I live, booked an appointment, went there and after 1.30 hour I was informed that they cudnt do all of work today and I have to drop my car there early morning. They also drop customer to work/home. It's understandable that they cudnt drop me to work since it's too far away for them. They informed me that they can drop customers within 10km. I thought they cud drop me within their 10km and I go from there. But I cudnt even ask them for it because right away he told me to go to the place where I bought the my car from. Excuse me sir, in the letter I received frm hyundai doesn't say me to go where I bought my car from but it says wherever is convenient for us the customers. Moreover they already did two jobs and they want to abandon their customer in the middle of nowhere. I was pissed and I lost my cool a bit(my bad). Then he told me not to come to this hyundai again.
Anil also said that he is the owner of the company. I don't care whoever he is but I felt insulted and humiliated.
In my family, we have four hyundai cars and suvs. So, obviously me and my family won't go there since he (Anil)personally closed the door for me. And I also won't go there and I will also share my story and will never recommend.
Hyundai is great car and everything is good except this owner guy named Anil.

My Fiancee and I went into the Rexdal location to check out Used / New Sante Fe XL LTD. No such luck on used, went inside and met Andrey. Nice young man, he took us back to his office and started to go over things, prices, financing costs etc. Because we ran out of time we couldn't test drive. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Good personality, easy to joke around with and provided the info we needed. Made an appt. to test drive this past sat. I was very impressed with the Santa Fe. Andrey took his time explaining things to us. The only that bothered me was the voice recognition only seemed to know his voice ( Russian accent), now I have to take him wherever we go. Can I get a discount for that please. lol. Andrey was patient with me, because this is the very first time I ever had a new car, and a non North American car and never have done financing before. Good Job Andrey, I will recommend you to others for sure. We did buy the Santa Fe and looking forward to driving something brand new. Andrey, don't forget to ask Nav for some Leaf hats.
