I just wanted to thank Marc and this dealership today for going above and beyond to make me feel safe during a pandemic. Marc was very friendly and took the time to wear a mask, gloves, and disinfect the vehicles and keys to ensure I felt safe while test driving (there were even stickers to show the vehicles were cleaned). Myself and my husband loved our experience at Surgenor Hyundai. We had the pleasure to speak to Georges Hindeile who provided us with all the information we requested about my new car (the Luxury Santa Fe), did not pressure us into buying the vehicle and was extremely accommodating. He was genuine and friendly in his approach and was able to get us an incredible vehicle at an amazing price. He even threw in the car mats and cargo tray to seal the deal. You will not be disappointed if you can work with Georges as you shop for your new ride!
Dusty, the tire expert in the parts department, was fantastic! He was so kind, patient, and most of all so customer focussed. Not only was he extremely helpful on the phone helping to find me the best tire, but he also gave his own personal opinion. He then made sure that my tires were ordered immediately, and would arrive in time for my upcoming road trip. He ensured that he connected with the reception to get me an appointment booked in immediately. He followed up prior to my appointment to make sure everything was sorted and I didn't have any further questions. And then he followed up after my service appointment to make sure everything went well. He also reminded me about my tire rebate, and took the time to walk me through the entire process. He also encouraged me to call him anytime with questions and gave me his direct number. I can't say enough about Dusty. He made my experience so positive, and he was a pleasure to work with. We had a great experience leasing a new vehicle from here. No haggling or pressure, just clear, open, honest communication from start to finish. Jake and Mike went above and beyond by bringing us our test drive to our home so I could try it out with the car seat for the full day. Jake is the Santa Fe master and taught us all the bells and whistles of our new SUV so we drove away ready to enjoy it.
I experienced some of the best customer service I’ve ever had from this dealership. If you need service ask for Cory (friendly Guy, and he’s on the ball). If you’re looking for a car ask for Marc (very helpful and made the effort to help me even tho I wasn’t buying a car) You won’t be upset with them. They even had my SUV washed for me and picked me up from Avis rental car downtown on a Friday at rush hour. 5 star experience.

I've had such a great experience with this company. I bought a used car last year and everything since has been wonderful. Jake was the salesperson and he was so kind and easy to work with. He helped me get exactly what I wanted at the price I needed. The service department has also been great. Everyone is so kind, the service has been quick and the shuttle guy super nice and funny. After having less than desirable experiences with other dealerships, I would recommend this one every time.

We recently purchased a new car from Surgenor and were very happy with the experience. We felt we got a great price on a new 2019 Tucson, the pricing was transparent and the sales rep Fares Ali went out of his way to ensure all our needs were met. As example of the great customer care, the back seat weather tech mats were on back order when we picked up car. However. when they arrived, Fares personally delivered the mats to our home. Great service guys!
Buying a car at this place for as like pulling teeth. Actually caught the sales manger trying to reduce the value of my trade in by $200. But that's peanuts compared to an absolute failure of a service department being ran at this place. I won't mention previous issues, but what triggered this review follows:
Got a set of rims from them and asked to put my winter tires on. Steel rims, clip weights. Drove one season, front left wheel developed rotational noise. Noticed a loose weight. Came in, described the issue, got charged $70 for "diagnostics" and was told that I probably hit some ice which is why weight came loose. Fair enough, it was time to change to summer wheels anyway. Came in yesterday to swap wheels back on. Picked up today since shop was too busy. Fair. Went to check the weights, same weight (I marked it) is loose to the point that I can move it by hand around the circumference of the rim. 🤦♂️

I've been to 3 different Hyundai dealerships in Ottawa, one straight up ripped me off and another had pretty bad customer service. I love Surgenor Hyundai. I've come here for all my service appointments and needs including the installation of a spoiler. I've always been given a fair price and amazing service. My car always comes back to me super clean which is a great touch! I'll continue to visit this dealership as long as I have my car/I'm in Ottawa and I recommend others too as well. I can't comment on the sales team but I'm sure they're equally great!
I have a really wonderful experience with my Surgenor Hyundai. My Sales manager was Meggan Mallory and she was exceptionally calm and patient with my queries. She answered all my queries and question up to my satisfaction and was sold the car on my first visit to the dealership.
Mr. Rene Fitzgerald was the financial manager for the sale, and he was also outstanding in setting me up with the financing of the car and kept me updated about the progress.

The worst service ever received, especially with Corey service manager. Has no respect extremely unprofessional. When purchasing the car the guys @ sales amazing but the minute you have to bring your car to service that’s something else .. would never go back there don’t care if you have the best mechanic
Always pleased with the service and the client first attitude. Really good at not selling services you don't need and will actually tell you if something is required vs maintenance vs can be delayed, postponed or not required at all.
Wasn’t even looking to buy a car anytime soon, but Brother Jo is not only a fantastic salesman, he is an outstanding person. Got me the best deal out of multiple dealerships, thoroughly clarified any and all questions, and made the process easy. Amazing customer service, I have been going around to dealerships searching for a possible new vehicle. The service I received at this Hyundai location was phenomenal.
A very kind young man named Jake assisted me and was very helpful throughout the whole process. In the end I decided it wasn’t the time financially for me to purchase a new vehicle, however; when the time comes I will definitely be going back to Hyundai to talk to Jake and see what he recommends.
What a great experience buying my car here. I bought my first car in 2013 here and when I went to trade it in a few months ago Jake made the process extremely smooth and easy for me! Even weeks after buying my car, I can send him messages with questions and he is prompt to answer!

Mighty impressed! I brought my car in for it's Timing belt service and they just so happen to have a Santa Fe I have been looking for. The salesman was a pleasure to deal with and very friendly without being pushy or rude like other dealerships. The fiance person got me an awesome rate and the whole process was smooth and one of the best I have ever experienced buying a car. I would highly recommend this place for service and sales. In short, they easily fixed a problem with my car that Pathway Hyundai gave up on (Pathway told me to change my brakes before looking into the non-brake related problem any further).
