I negotiated winter tires into the purchase of a 2020 Veloster N.
I was offered Antares tires, a cheap Chinese no-name brand with no mileage warranty. A salesman by the name of Adam Abboud even went as far to say that they didn't want to spend the money on acquiring tires through their service department because it was too expensive. Who says that to a customer?
I reached out to Bank Street Hyundai Service Department via telephone for advice and to obtain information in regards to the winter tires they were willing to provide for my vehicle. The service department recommended that I outfit my vehicle with Michelin X-Ice 3 winter
tires. If I weren't partial to outfitting my vehicle with Michelin tires then I was given three additional choices, Bridgestone Blizzak WS90, Yokohama IceGuard iG53, or Continental Viking winter tires. No mention of Antares.
When asked if Bank Street Hyundai Service Department supplied Antares, I was met with “in all honesty no, those are cheap tires – we don’t touch it. As a dealership, we don’t supply cheap-end tires – we don’t even offer them at all. We stick with brand name tires.” In their professional opinion, they recommended that I stay away from Antares.
It was clear that Bank Street Hyundai had outsourced the acquisition of winter tires to a friend of the finance manager, Joe Younes. This is completely unprofessional practice to say the least. As a customer purchasing a new vehicle, one does not expect a dealership to acquire winter tires "through a buddy with owns a shop".
I proceeded to reach out to Bank Street Hyundai via telephone every day throughout the week in order to speak with their manager, Eli Nassrallah to discuss an alternative acquisition of winter tires through Bank Street Hyundai Service Department. I also felt it was necessary to express what I believe was shady business practice and a poor customer experience thus far. Unfortunately, Eli was unwilling to receive or return my calls.
Over the phone conversation with a sales person, almost ended in my going over to test drive a car. After a few calls dealing with the final all in price, I decided to stick with my first choice the Subaru Outback. I never did get to test drive their car.
I truly hate car dealers....
We had a deal setup for a new Tucson at Bank Street Hyundai.
Unlucky for them we had the weekend to do some additional research.
Turns out they were trying to RIP US OFF big time.
They offered $260 biweekly on a 3yr/0% lease. I countered with $230. They agreed (this happened Saturday).
Turns out FULL LIST price is $230 bi-weekly (right on Hyundais's website).
Juan-Carlos Lobera (https://www.linkedin.com/in/juan-carlos-lobera-19709a93/), one of their sales managers, tried everything to backpeddle his way out of his lie today. Every bullshit excuse he gave I blew up on him (he even tried the, "Are you saying you're backing out on your word?" bullshit line with me - which is what got me hot - yeah, I lost it). When good old math went beyond what he could try to cover up he decided to get insulting instead. He even had the nerve to say that he'd add the $500 Hyundai loyalty bonus (which they "forgot" to add). Really, you're going to give us something that we are supposed to get from Hyundai anyways?
No new Tucson from these fuckers.
Why can't people simply be honest in the world today? (I know - I'm asking for a miracle - an honest car dealer).
So, I guess another Hyundai dealer is getting our business this time (we're at the end of a lease from you guessed it, Bank Street Hyundai).
No nonsense. They took my unhaggle price without issues.
No pressure dealership on new car sales side. I dealt with Mo, a pleasant experience , and ordered a car from the factory at agreed-on price. I can’t comment on delivery or after-sales since I haven’t yet received the car.

I felt pressured by the salesman tactics, also the manager insistance. When I left he was not happy and told me "that he had spent a lot of time with me", most of the time lost was when he went to talk with his manager... I left and bought elsewhere.. but the same brand..
I had a wonderful experience with hyundai bank street. My husband and I dealt with Nasser. He was so pleasant and knowledgable about the product you offer. We were so pleased to have him as our salesman. He took us both for a test drive and showed us all the detail and how this would fit our families needs. When we picked up the car, Shamir took the time to introduce us to service department as well as going over all the details of the car. Overall a very pleasant experience.

He didn't hassle me into coming into the store and when I did come he took his time to discuss all the options and answer my pricing questions. He and Amir really helped me out and made my experience alot easier and ultimately I was able to come back and purchase my 2015 Elantra Limited with all the features and options I had initially wanted, while accommodating to my specific requests. The receptionist was very friendly and kept me company while waiting, and Ashur (finance manager) was helpful in providing me information around what I asked. I had a fantastic experience!

Just picked up our Intense Blue Elantra Ultimate. A surprisingly nice little car. The dealership experience was exceptional. This car was ordered from the manufacturer and all timings were well within those promised. The staff was engaging, friendly and they seemed genuinely happy to be there. No pressure applied and they listened well. The car was delivered ahead of schedule and the paperwork, tour of the service department and walk-through of the vehicle's features were all done efficiently and completely. Overall, an excellent experience.

Excellent experience here. James helped us out quickly when we came in, got us in a car to test drive, explained all the features. The real customer service test came though when we decided on a 2019 Ioniq Hybrid Luxury trim. None on the lot and only two available in Ontario. Friendly, helpful staff. When the vehicle I had ordered was unfortunately damaged before delivery and there were no replacements left in the province as it was a 2019 clearance deal, the numbers were ported over to a newer 2020 model. They made it happen quickly and made sure to answer all of my questions.

My husband and I just bought a new Tuscon and we absolutely love it! In our car search we had gone to a few dealerships and we happily settled on this one. Mo Jo our salesman was thoughtful, honest and very helpful, and we did not feel any of the high pressure sales tactics that we found at other dealerships. In speaking with Eli, the Manager, we were able to negotiate excellent terms that we were all comfortable and happy with, again with no high pressure tactics. Asher was very helpful with the financing aspects and getting the car prepared for pickup. This week my car shopping week for my family, after a long time.
I bought one BMW 528xi ($70K) and a Hyundai Santa Fe Limited (~$50K).
I walked into Hyundai Bank Street on late Saturday Sept-20th just before 6pm, they usually close the dealer at 6:00pm.
They were very helpful, Mark Molleken "Sales Manager" has taken care of me immediately because most of the salesman were already left the store and the car and price that he has offered me was incredible, Santa Fe Limited version (top of the line at this price, unbelievable!).
We immediately sealed the deal in 25 minutes with him, and we scheduled to come back on Monday to finalize the paperwork, because I was late going home, he was late because of me as well. He didn't even ask me a deposit! "Come back on Monday and we finalize it", wow, you can't find another dealer letting you go before they grab your money from your pocket, right?
He made me extremely comfortable, he is an amazing guy!
Ernesto (Finance Manager) and Shahir (Salesman) were excellent on Monday to advise me what else do I need in the future for my Santa Fe.
I think $50K purchase car needs to be secured for while with the warranties. So I thought I should be driving this car at least 8-9 years and got all the extended warranties, at a discounted price of course, Ernesto has tried everything that he could provide me at an affordable price. I'm so happy working with him too.
Shahir was helping me for multiple test drives, introducing every single bells-and-whistles in the car, this made me so happy and I already enjoyed the car before I owned it. One other good thing was Shahir also delivered the car, inspected every single object if something doesn't work before I hit to the road. thanks a lot Shahir.

Painless experience
The people at Bank St Hyundai are a credit to the Auto Sales industry. I was very nervous about changing my 11 year old car as I had a bad experience when buying it and did not trust auto sales people. My first contact was with Justin who made me feel very at ease and explained everything with no pressure, next came Chris to do the financing, he was friendly and very personable. When I picked up the car Justin was away so Stu helped me get to know my new car and finished off the paperwork with patience and a great smile. All in all a very painless and pleasant experience.

When I contacted Hyundai through the website i was promptly contacted back by John Nicholson who was very friendly and professional. John Nicholson was very knowledgeable and treated me like family. He did not press me to buy a car I neither wanted nor options that I did not want. He did not use high pressure sales tactics and he got me a price on a new car that I was very comfortable with paying. I highly recommend John and I will do so to my friends and family. Unlike many other sales men, he is not pushy, but gets the job done.
Once the deal was made with John we were then introduced to Ernesto to take care of the financing side of things. This went a lot smoother than I expected. There was no pressure in buying the extra warranty (which I did) or any other options that we had the opportunity to do so
