i would like to give no star if i could, the service is awful,j just required the basic oil change and they told me the car need to be recalled coz they need to update something inside, they said will offer shuttle and my husband just wait there for a long time without any noticed, he went to check the time of thre shuttle and the staffs there just ignoring him, the receptionist asked him check with sales,the sales told him to check with service department....i can say that this is the worst service I've ever had, i won't go there for any service or sales anymore, it sucks

I am Jeffin! I would like to describe my worst experience with Don valley north Hyudai. I booked a used car from here before a month but my credit doesn’t got approved even though I have a full time Analyst job. They claim that I need a Canadian Citizen as cosigner, which I wont be able to provide. Then after 3 weeks of my application the salesman Jonathan Park asked me to apply for a new car and I applied for it. But still I didn’t get any positive update on my application. Also last year when my friend took a car from here with me as the cosigner Jonathan assured me that I will be able to get a car from them with my friend itself as the cosigner. But now they are in a behaviour that it is not a matter of concern for them. Also I provided 3 other cosigners who are in a PGWP. Moreover, from the last 2 weeks I am asking my refund of the downpayment, but they are forcing me to wait. Also, they have done 6 credit checks with my credit application. I’m worried about the way how it is going to affect me.By the mean time Even I don’t got any calls from them regarding my status of application and every day I am contacting them. Is this they way to deal with a customer? In addition, I got approval from a different dealer with this same credit with an hour. So, from my personal experience don’t even think about Don valley North Hyundai if you don’t have a good credit because they dont have any good finance managers.

The dealership was not transparent with price. Initially showed me a price, when I asked for discount he went to talk with the manager and increased the price. Overall experience was below average.

Appointment at 2:10, sitting here at 2:57 and my car still is waiting in the same parking spot. If I wanted a 3 pm appointment, I would’ve made a 3pm appointment. It is a simple oil change that I am here for. It shouldn’t take this long for an appointment. This place is poorly managed to say the least. I only come here cause my car is under warranty. Very little respect for customers’ time. I do not recommend and would give 0 stars if I could.

This is the second time it’s happen. First time, the service manager said he would call me back and never did.

Also, I use a disabled parking permit and they have a car parked without a permit in the disabled parking spot and didn’t move when I mentioned it to them.

Edit: 3:16 pm and my vehicle has not moved.

Edit: 3:25 and my vehicle still hasn’t moved. No update.

Edit 3:33 pm and they finally moved my vehicle.

Edit 3:58 pm car is not ready.

2019 genesis g70 3.3t Sport..

Was browsing through DVN Hyundais reviews looking for some reviews on Genesis but all I saw was positive remarks for Trisha so I had to leave one for my guy David Tran. I must say David is the most knowledgeable sales Automotive professional I have ever met. His knowledge and patience was commendable.. I say this as I am quite knowledgeable of the industry and purposely test these "product experts. " I can distinguish right away if they are actual experts, David surely is.. If you can't tell me what the horsepower of the vehicle your trying to sell me then you ain't selling that vehicle to me, period! I ask alot of questions.. Not to take away from his conversational skills that were also top notch. Initially went to Genesis Ajax to see Jerome and had a terrible experience. Word for word when I asked about a vehicle I had booked an appointment to see his response was "I'm busy." Having such an apple to oranges interaction really made my situation stand out. I highly recommend Mr Tran to any potential Genesis owners.

This is because as an international student, in fact, I had had difficulties to get a car, especially a new branded one, for commute. If I can give no star I would have. Scheduled to go in for oil change, swap winter tires at 11:30am. We were told the service should be done around 1ish. At 2:45pm we called to find out but no one picks up either the advisor Martin or receptionist at service department. I tried live chat and the agent said someone will be in touch shortly. We called again at 3:38pm, 4:15pm, 4:30pm. Someone or the advisor will give you a call shortly and that’s all we got. It might be busy but the customer deserves at least an update. At 5pm we got a call finally saying that the car was ready at 2:45pm, and the advisor said he called. No missed call no voicemail. If he tried to call or someone from the department tried to contact us during the day, we wouldn’t be stuck in traffic after 5pm trying to pick up the car. When we arrived, the advisor was with another unhappy customer and so someone else was helping us to check out. Great! Martin is a nice guy but this is not customer service.

What an experience. I've been driving Infiniti cars for over 16 years and was looking for a change. I took a look at the Genesis website and that's when the magic started to happen. I built the config I wanted, received an online quote and booked a white glove test drive all in about 15 minutes. I say white glove because Genesis actually delivered the car to my house for the test drive. Impressive. That's when I met Trisha Lee for the first time. Trisha is the Genesis sales representative I was lucky enough to have come my house. Not your average car salesperson. Not even close. She was extremely polite, her product knowledge was off the charts, her sales approach was assertive but not pushy and she came fully prepared to sell me the vehicle. I ended up purchasing the G70 3.3T on the spot. The car blew away my expectations and the no haggle pricing strategy was perfect. I took possession of the car today and again, the car was delivered to my front door with white glove service. Trisha once again arrived at my house to take me through all the paperwork and run me through the car's features. It was very important to her that I was comfortable with my new G70 and all the settings were perfectly set. She even wrote my wife and personal thank you card which was a very nice touch. This experience would not have been the same without Trisha. Make sure you ask for her if you're looking to buy a Genesis. Undoubtedly the best experience I've had buying a new vehicle. I have had nothing but issues with this dealership. For example, on my last visit I had Service 4 in which the brakes were fully serviced. to my dismay, I found out just over a month later that the brakes were completely dry with the potential to seize! Not only that , it was recommended that I pay several hundred on recommended services that I found out that I did not need! I have moved and I am at another dealership that has wonderful service, honesty and great followup. I will never go back to this dealership and do not recommend it to anyone..

My experience was excellent in your location. The representative who talked to me over the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. When I came to drop my car off, the service advisor was friendly, smiling, knowledgeable and professional.

Honestly, I found a huge difference when I compared your services to what happened to me when I visited the Hyundai dealership in Markham! I visited them to get some information about my car recalls. The service advisor over there was very aggressive and rude! He even refused to book me an appointment in his branch claiming that he was fully booked, and asked me to find another location!

I was suspicious when I visited your branch and I was expecting a similar outcome to the Hyundai dealership in Markham. But it was a completely different experience in your branch! I really appreciate your help and service! It was outstanding and beyond my expectations. I was able to catch up on my shift at work because I got my car on time after everything was fixed.

I purchased a 2020 Genesis from Don Valley North Hyundai. The sales representative was a girl name Trisha who was very pleasant to work with. There were a few technology issues to sort out after the sale and she followed up diligently and has been very conscientious. I would definitely recommend her as a person who does exactly what she says and works extremely hard to make sure the customer is satisfied.

There were a few things that didn’t happen that was a little disappointing. Genesis advertises that they will bring the car to you for a test drive and for delivery. That didn’t happen. I had to drive over to the dealer for a test drive and to pick up the car. Not a huge issue but they shouldn’t say it if they really don’t do it. They also promise that they will pick up the car for service and bring me a loaner. I hope that promise will be honoured.

The car is beautiful and I’m thrilled with how it drives. As Trisha said, it will take me quite a while to learn all the amazing safety features and technology enhancements that are in the car.

I have been going Hyundai service since 2016 and every year 4 to 5 times a year and every time I call to book an appointment for my each service which I pay around $250 to $400 they book my appointment right away and now because I’m a new costume to this location I have to do the recall software update for the engine they don’t even talk to me nicely and put u on old to transfer to someone who is not in her office and no voice mail to leave message if they call and when I call back in 5 min after they don’t pick up your phone
If it is free they don’t want to do the service seriously then why the Hyundai company send the recall paper today I call three Hyundai service locations they just try to put me on old and then no response
If it is about the costumer care and safety Hyundai company should first check their service location to see how they do the service

I received some of the best customer service of my life from Matthew Y at this location. I was a first-time buyer which meant I had many questions as well as indecisiveness. However, throughout the entire process and beyond, Matthew remained incredibly patient, helpful, and understanding. I felt like I was being helped by a friend more than a sales representative, as I genuinely felt that Matthew was helping me find the vehicle which best suited my needs. Even as I shopped around, not once did I feel "pushed" or "forced" by Matthew to secure the sale. I drop off my car yesterday for the recall, and they arrange the car to drop me back to my office using the Genesis, when I ask Trifon Haitas the question about the car, he can almost give me everything I need to know, I would say even better than the salesman, and I am surprise that even the driver is working as a team to know everything about their product.
When he pick me up again we have some good talk again and I have to said that out of all the driver I saw so far from different companies, He is one of the best. And this mean a lot to the company as a whole.

Damien our sales rep was awesome and very helpful - he helped me get find the perfect car for me.
The only glitch came at the delivery time, as my car was not ready on the scheduled date - conflict or mix up at the service dept. so my rust-proofing etc was not done. It got pushed back a few days :( But my car was awesome when I finally got it, and they gave me a full set of winter car mats for the trouble.

I bought a certified pre-owned Toyota Highlander SUV from Don Valley North Hyundai on April 2, 2013 and got an amazing deal on it, and i have already driven it 25,000 trouble free miles, i have had regular oil changes, but other than that i have never had to touch anything else in the year i have owned it, my Highlander still performs and looks like it did a year ago, in fact many people had mistaken it for a brand new SUV! I have been extremely happy with Don Valley North Hyundai.
