I purchased a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid on July 31, 2019. In the agreement, I purchased a remote starter for $700 which was to include a Compustar 2-Way Remote Starter Prime T10 with the MyStart App. I sent these exact specifications to Scott Dobbin (salesperson) in an email. I asked that he confirm these were the exact items that would be installed in the car upon delivery. He did confirm it in an email dated July 14 th. When I picked up the car, there was no remote. They said it was not possible on my hybrid and when it was available, they would 'make things right'. I believed them and took possession of the car. I returned on two different occasions for oil changes and on each occasion, I followed up with the Parts manager about the remote. On both occasions, I was told they would look into it. After 7 months, I figured I had to take things into my own hands. I called Mass Electronics. Andrew, the customer service representative was exceptional. He looked up my installation and explained to me that when the original installation was made, the Compustar 2-Way Remote was available and could have been installed. I then called Kitchener Hyundai to have the remote only to find-out they would not honour their written agreement and would provide a lesser remote. They had my money and nothing to lose at this point. I have to point out that Mass Electronics stepped up and provided and installed the remote at no additional cost. To this day, Kitchener Hyundai accepts no responsibility for not clarifying the installation with Mass Electronics nor not 'making things right'. I will never step foot into their dealership for any oil changes or services again. I am a firm believer of 'if you give your word, you should own up to it'.

. My first two vehicles were Accents and I was happy with that model but this time I went a little larger yet it is still very easy to handle and cost efficient. I was able to get 0% financing and a great warranty. I highly recommend Jerwyn as a sales rep. He went out of his way to make my buying experience a pleasant one by answering all my questions and following up to make sure all was well.

I was very impressed with how my wife and I were treated by the sales manager Paul Garcia. He was flexible around our meeting times and cleared up any issues I presented to him. He was well informed and treated us with respect. I never felt that he was trying to get us to where he wanted us to go, rather that he worked with us to get to where we wanted to go. The meeting with the Financial Services Manager was less comfortable. I felt that he was rushing to get through the process and at one point my wife was upset by what was presented to us. He said that his partner was away on holidays and he was swamped with work. That certainly did not make us feel as though our priorities were that important. He also failed to give us a call to say that we had been approved for our loan, instead I had to call him to get the information. Our overall impression of the dealership would be rated as an 8 out 10 at this point.

I had an issue with them that caused me to lose my trust in their service department. 5 yrs later I decide to post a one star review. Within 3 hours the sales manager calls to discuss the issue. Had I called immediately I'm sure that I would've had this dealt with to my satisfaction. Sold me a car with a bad transmission, then told me I just didn't know how to drive.
13 days later there's a 92 item RECALL on the vehicle addressing the transmission and ecu... guess I knew how to drive they just need better cars. Then did a 1000$ brake job on the car at less then 40k on the vehicle without asking they just handed me the bill like 'surprise' they also broke the front windshield during service and said it was already broken. All in I'd just avoid this dealer and their neighbors as they are all the same ownership.

I brought my car in for some work on a recall. The people at Hyundai were friendly but I feel they were not entirely honest. When I picked up my car, I was told the front mats had been vacuumed. This is a nice thing to include, however it was actually NOT done, though a sticker saying it was, was put on my receipt.
The invoice also stated that I had been informed of tire feathering noticed and declined an alignment, however this was also not related to me. It just doesn't instill confidence in a customer when things that are said to be done are not actually done.

I was mislead on the repair that was to be done today. Perhaps I was at fault for not insisting the service person confirm the store had the part. I told him what it was and assumed when we made the appointment for today that it would be resolved. The software upgrade was done but the warranty repair was not. Instead I was give a $500 recommended work to get done. I am very disappointed. This is why I get my car serviced elsewhere. No laundry list after warranty work.
I very much like the people at the dealership but not every service experience has made sense to me. I have had a rear end replacement and a blown engine on my last two cars from Alpine. Great deals allow me to continue to drive. My wife had to buy this one since I didn't qualify for financing. Your people helped us get it done in the end. Thanks for that.

I am kind of between 4 and 5 stars here!? Below is my story
This was my first time ever being to Kitchener Hyundai. My car towed there for a strange cracking sound. Next morning I got a call that my car needed springs and rods change and would be fixed by next day. Next morning I got a call that I can pick up my car but it needs to be called in again. They had changed the springs but could not fix rods because Hyundai sent them wrong parts!
They sent me a shuttle car to pick me up from my home and the driver (Jim) was very nice and friendly person.
When I got into the service department the service adviser (Brittany) that had spoken to me over the phone was not there and the young woman who was at the desk didn't know anything about my car and could not tell me when the rods will be ready. She didn't treat me as a valued customer and was trying to swipe my card and say goodbye! When I asked where my car was parked, she didn't even bother coming out and said it is somewhere around the building and I'd be able to find it! This is not what I had experienced before at Cambridge Hyundai that I have always received service from. They always step out of the shop to show where the car is parked and always talk to you like a friend not just some customer.
Again, this was mixed experience and if it was not for the last part I would definitely say 5 stars firm but then the last moment disappointed me.

Contacted several times about a used vehicle they have had for quite awhile. Left messages with all of my information. No response via telephone. Followed up with an email.. was told to email my information to them regarding my trade in, even though I had described it in extreme detail over the phone twice. Had several questions about the vehicle I was interested in (live a long ways away)
No customer service at all. I understand people can be busy, but why is it so difficult to call someone back the following day? I just want to buy a car, I would have come in and written a cheque.... guess my money's no good here...
Since this review-sales person has followed up with emails saying that they can't commit to a trade in number without seeing the vehicle. I never suggested that anyone would committing to anything. I simply wanted to discuss the deal before driving several hours. Such a simple concept made complicated for absolutely no reason.

Called in for Service. Nobody answered the phone the first 5 times I called, just rang continuously until a non-descriptive voicemail. Once finally contacting someone, I was transferred to someone that just hung up the call. I decided to call Sales instead of Service, of course, the phone was picked up immediately. I was advised the Service department is to busy to pick up the phone. Customer Service was horrible to say the least. I decided to call Cambridge Hyundai, phone was picked up immediately, service appointment was booked and in less than 5 minutes. It is bad business practice to put resources towards new sales and not care about your current customers. I advised Cambridge Hyundai of my experience and was not surprised to know that several others have reported the same experience. Take your hard earned dollars somewhere they're valued. When I purchase a new vehicle next year, I am sure it will not be here.
