Had an issue with our key fobs and my husband took our extended warranty paperwork into the dealership. He explained what was wrong and said we had an extended warranty . The employee at the front desk took our warranty paperwork to someone else in the dealership and came back and said it was covered so they would order the part needed. The vehicle went in to be fixed, one employee said there was a charge and another said it was under warranty. We didn’t get charged but 2 weeks later got a call asking that we bring in our warranty paperwork again as the warranty claim was denied. I took the paperwork in only to have the gentleman who looks after warranty claims read from my own paperwork exactly what is cover and then to point out on his paperwork that the part wasn’t covered. I took time off work only to be insulted and humiliated, as I’m an educated individual who is quite capable of reading a warranty document. I explained that neither my husband or I said it was covered, but 2 different personal from the dealership had said it was covered. I was upset and told him I would pay the bill and he said they would take care of it this time, implying that my husband and I routinely try to get non warranty services covered without paying. I have never been treated so poorly at the dealership. After 17 years and 4 new vehicles, I will never go to the dealership again.

I went to Kingston Hyundai on Saturday, October 2/21, in need of a new vehicle. Rob in sales met me at the door, and after 3 test drives I chose my new Hyundai! The service was professional, and friendly, and super easy. I would recommend going there for certain!! I was treated with respect, and the environment there is relaxed, clean, and friendly. Service department had no desire to see to inspecting why my rear license plate bracket had failed in a 2017 Tuscon. I suspect cheap engineering, waiting until the weekend when I'll have time to pull the interior trim apart to see how it was put together. (Fun)

No worries guys, it's not as if we use our cars to put food on the table! In the meanwhile it will remain a perfectly acceptable practice to laugh at customers. We'll just figure out how to make maintenance issues convenient for you.

I walked in and asked for a test drive, the sales person who was assigned to me did not even bother to come with in and show me how to use all the features of the car. He didn't even make much effort in assisting me. I am buying a Palisade Ultimate Calligraphy which is a luxury car and the service was not even matched up.

From the reviews I've read, I don't seem to be the only one that thinks so highly of our Kingston Hyundai dealership. From the outside, it's in a great location. The new renovations and large lot give it a clean, contemporary, welcoming feel. On the inside, you are greeted by a very inviting lounge area and friendly staff.

I've only had my 2022 Tucson Ultimate Hybrid for one week now but the entire purchase experience has been excellent! The whole team was a pleasure to deal with but I'd like to make particular mention of Grahame White from the sales department, who I was lucky enough to have look after me. I'm the kind of guy that probably asks more questions and does more research than the average bear and he was right there every step of the way.

From several initial test drives trying to decide between the Santa Fe and the Tucson, to investigating the the seemingly endless choice of trim options and specs, Grahame was always professional and got back to me promptly with any questions I had. I eventually ended up ordering the Tucson from the factory in Korea in order to get the Hybrid in the trim and colour combination I wanted and Grahame kept me informed as to it's arrival date at the dealership. It actually came in early but I was selling my old vehicle privately and Grahame and the dealership kindly afforded me extra time before I took possession of the Tucson.

Upon arrival, the vehicle was exactly as ordered and was immaculate inside and out. I appreciated the fact the gas tank was full and the first maintenance check was complimentary. These little things mean a lot and usually give a pretty good indication of what's to come. Some of the accessories I have ordered (floor mats, etc) are on back order due to Covid, but again Grahame has kept me in the loop, which I very much appreciate.

On purchase day, the operation was seamless, thanks to Grahame and Chris in finance. Grahame has already provided two tutorials (over three hours) on the vehicle's technology etc, taking all the time necessary to make sure I had all my questions answered and was comfortable in the vehicle.

Moving forward, I'll be bringing my vehicle in for servicing to a dealership that has, at least to this point, exceeded my expectations. Thanks once again to Grahame and the entire team at Kingston Hyundai.

I received exceptionally good service from Barbara when my Hyundai Ioniq had an emergency breakdown in Kingston. My wife and I were travelling to Kingston from Toronto during Canada Day and my car shut down and wouldn't turn on. Barbara was very nice and provided us with many updates as they were troubleshooting the issue. The service department even helped stay overtime to try and diagnose the issue. Unfortunately they could not figure out the problem before closing. Barbara helped us with a loaner vehicle so we can return home safely. Thank you very much for your exceptional service and helping us during this stressful time.

Bought my first Hyundai Tucson here in 2014. Excellent salesman, excellent service, and they treat you with total respect. From the owner, right down to the service tech's they all say hello! Love this place. I tried Belleville Hyundai when I bought my first Hyundai in 2002, they suck!!! Double booked at the service desk, unfriendly, and they did a sub-frame recall on my Sonata and forgot to screw it in!!! Kingston Hyundai fixed it right up. Also, took my Sonata in for service elsewhere and Belleville Hyundai had used a "zip tie" to secure a filter that had a protective cover with a screw!! Take my advice, Stick with Hyundai Kingston. I plan on buying my next Tucson there! As mentioned in this post, just purchased a new 2017 Santa Fe Sport. Amazing people from Mike A the salesman, to Marlene in Finance to the Manager AND of course Service. I deal with Barb and she makes you feel like "family". I'd give Kingston Hyundai 10 stars, but only 5 are allowed here :). I drive from Belleville, just to deal with Hyundai Kingston!!

Purchasing a car here - especially with salesman Mike Sinclair, is definitely a pleasure - we've bought 2 vehicles thru him - no high pressure tactics and he's very informative and accommodating. Even scheduling service appointments with Kingston Hyundai is fine. However, dealing with the females that handle the payments of automotive service appointments are totally a different story - ranging from no customer service to poor or even rude customer service. Very frustrating when you are forced to deal with individuals that are clearly is in the wrong profession.

Great place to get an oil change. When they forget to tighten a drain plug and it falls out while driving leaking oil everywhere and causing the engine to be wrecked, they will blame it on faulty parts. It might get put through warranty if you drive a certain model of vehicle so that’s good for the dealership, but not good for Hyundai Auto Canada. How does the guy who did the oil change still have a job there?

At 10:05 I sought an update.This was not an enjoyable experience with the service department that is less than forthcoming with info for the customer.

Hyundai had just the vehicle that suited our needs (Hyundai Elantra Tourer - sadly discontinued model). Overall OK. friendly staff.

Took my car there over starting problem under warranty 3-4 times they could not figure out what was wrong tried different things but no success!

AVOID their maintenance schedule stick to your owners manual. I took the car there assuming they would do the required maintenance service. They charged me almost 600 for one the services, it would have been ok if they actually did what they were supposed to do, they did not change the spark plugs and a couple of other things required in the owners manual. This ended up costing me later to replace the plugs and of course to tow my car to the shop!!!?

Later that I checked, they had charged me for AC service almost 200$ while my car does not have air conditioning !!!?

Do Not Trust their made up maintenance schedule ask them to do exactly what is required in the owners manual and double check if they actually did those.

Our car broke down in bad weather as we were leaving Kingston.
We came into the store the following morning, unannounced, with no appointment, and a big backlog of booked appointments. But they fitted us in, fixed the problem, with a much smaller bill than I expected, and we were on our way. I was amazed that they actually seemed to be trying to be helpful. It's not too much to say that they renewed my faith in how businesses can treat their clients.
