Purchased my car (2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo) just over 3 years from Attrell Hyundai, and since the purchase date, I have had nothing but issues, both with their sales/financing and with their service dept.

With sales, I said my budget was $300 bi-monthly... $600 a month max... The finance guy says 'yes, that's what you'll be paying'... then I realize it's $300 every 2 weeks! Basically, now it goes from $600 a month to $660! Of course, it's because I didn't notice the extra 12 payments in the contract that he 'snuck' in, and now and legally bound to the deal. I could've purchased the Challenger down the road for the SAME PRICE!

I also paid $1400 for winter tires and rims... def at least $400 over what I would've paid anywhere else, but it was based on the guarantee that I would get free tire storage for as long as I have the car. A year later, they start charging me for tire storage ($100/year, more if I don't get my oil change there). And yes, clearly says this on my bill of sale. But, doesn't matter.

Last year I swap the winter tires for summer (remember, they're on rims, so even less work for them), and the wheel alignment goes off! I return the same day... they 'fix' the alignment.
Last week, I bring my car back again to switch tires (same winter to summer), and, of course, the wheel alignment is off. I return with the car saying how the wheel alignment is off again... and I get a call saying... $180 for wheel alignment, $80 for balancing (which should've been done when swapping the tires anyways) and $120 diagnostic fee! Umm... WHAT?

Of course, knowing if the tires aren't balanced or aligned it will wear out my tires sooner... I'm left with no choice but to do it!

This is literally the last time I will be dealing with this dealership!

I will also be calling and emailing the Hyundai head office. This is beyond poor customer service.

I will never be buying a Hyundai again.

Don't go to attrell Hyundai, I used to get serviced my car here regularly (every month) but one day I came to know that they don't do regular maintanence thoroughly, they just show it on paper. As one day I got my car serviced here(which covers regular check of cabin air filters) and I heard noise from my ventilation system so I went back to them they said there are leaves in your air filter and that made noise (again they should have checked it during service as it's covered under it but they didn't). Worst part they charged me for diagnosing this which they should have done during my service. Highly disappointed by service and I will never go there for my regular maintanence services. They just dupe you.

I wish there was a zero star review. Terrible experience with their service. I went there two times and I won't go there again. First time was a simple motor oil change. There was a leak after one day. Had to return and waste my time to get it fixed.
Second time was even worse. Went there for transmission oil change. Asked them for the price of the service and booked the time before I go for my vacation. After going there they bumped up the price by $100 from original price and as it was just before driving my car for a long vacation I could not leave the car as it and had to do the transmission oil change. Such a terrible place and management. Asked multiple times for a call from manage to explain me why they charged me $100 more and never got a response back after weeks of following. This is not the end of it and I am going to escalate this at the highest level.

On February 13, 2018 I brought my 2014 Tucson in because after an oil change at Jiffy Lube, my oil pressure light came on. Jiffy Lube said to take it to the dealership, as everything to do with the oil change was fine. (I started taking my vehicle to Jiffy Lube because my first oil change at the dealership took 3.5 HOURS)

Attrell Hyundai first told me that the filter used by Jiffy Lube was not proper. Then, after I told them I would take it to Jiffy Lube to get corrected, Attrell Hyundai told me the filter was in fact proper, but I was defective because it was restricting oil flow. They charged me $110 for the diagnostic, $19 for labour and $50 for another oil change ( only one month after the last one at Jiffy Lube).

I then sent the "defective" filter to Pennzoil for a warranty claim. They did extensive testing and sent a report that showed that the filter was not defective.

Talked to the service Manager Mohammad and he claims no responsibility for his service team's obvious incompetence. Either that or they just want to take your money for work that is not needed/covered under warranty.

The most ridiculous statement he said shaz that I should have sent the filter to be tested at a third party facility. With his twisted logic, I should take my Hyundai to a different company's dealership for any warranty repairs....how does that make sense Mohammad?

So - I am out $181 but this dealership has lost my future business, and that of anyone I know as well.

This is actually for hyundai Brampton-I just bought a 2014 Hyundai elantra hatchback gt and I absolutely love it. The salesman Connor was great and very patient with us . Note that the deal closed at 8pm on a Saturday night and Conner is a young guy which probably would rather go out with friends than deal with a couple so 50 year olds. He ensured all my questions were answered explained the whole process of buying a new car -he also through in the VIP program for us . I have also been dealing with Rudy in parts who is helping me with my purchase of snow tires -I have gone in everysaturday morning with my folder of my tire and price research and he again took the time to explain everything to me and gave me the best price based on all my research . Again, Rudy is a young guy and I sure a 50 year coming in every week with questions might not be the glory of his career but he made the experience pleasant and made me feel like he really did care! Thank you so much Hyundai Brampton for making this purchase a great experience!

Don’t ever buy any Hyundai vehicle.
As most of their vehicles have engine issues
My car was having engine oil consumption problem.
In 4-5 visits they didn’t really diagnosed the issue.
They charged me $450 for this. But the problem was still the same.
Moreover, I got shocked when one of their representative simply said,”BUY A NEW CAR”
As the vehicle I’m having(SONATA 2016) is just 2-3 years old.
On the top of that their staff runs away here and there if they know one client is coming frequently.
They don’t really treat you well.

Had A Resolution They gave me $520.00 still no winter tires. They think that I would be happy . Yes I accepted the offer just to close the situation. But they do not realize For Giving me less than 50% for the 4 year Tires But only actual 1 year of use As only on 4 months of each year. For $ 500 more they would not have lost a Good Customer that Always brought BOTH vehicles for Regular Services. Where they will now lose $1000's as will not bring Vehicles back. It is a Shame They dont see the bigger picture at times.

The purchasing process from time of negotiation until time of pick up was A-1. We not only got a great deal on Sept. 30, it was made even better when Terry advised us to check the website Oct. 1, and were able to save another $500 on our 2020 Santa Fe. Today, Oct. 25, I had to drop in as there were a few things I needed to follow up on and everyone with whom I dealt showed an interest and made sure I was absolutely satisfied. Customer service isn’t their strong suit based on my experience. My used car was not fully detailed when I went to pick it up, they shampooed the carpets and didn’t let it dry properly/thoroughly and when I got the car there was a funky odour. I had to spend a few days airing it out and deodorizing. When I brought it to their attention they were not apologetic and didn’t really care to rectify the situation with any urgency. They pretty much got the sale and didn’t care afterwards. Three months later my check engine light comes on, I called to bring it in and they only offer diagnostics during the week, so had to take tine off work. When I brought it in the Service folks had no sense of customer service, very drab and robotic - not very friendly. I was asked to sign a work order with price of $116 before any work was done, no explanation or anything was provided. Just asked to sign. When I inquired about the charge I was told if the issue was not covered u set warranty I would have to pay that fee. This was not disclosed at any point prior, if I had not asked they wouldn’t have explained that. I opted not to continue with the service as I had no basis to know if they would charge me the fee, with my luck I would somehow get charged. When I spoke to the manager about my concerns he was not acknowledging my pain points in dealing with them up until this point, basically just pacifying and saying that most likely I won’t have to pay the fee since my car is still under warranty. Didn’t take the chance since by that point the check engine light had gone off. Very disappointed with my post sale service.

Imagine the worst fast food experience you've ever had. That 45 minute wait for a Big Mac will seem like heaven compared to getting anything done at this dealership. It only took them over 30 days to call me back and a minor 57 days for car repairs. Never have I ever received such disrespect and poor service as I have here. I could have gotten the parts and learned to do all of the repairs myself in this time.

Bought a brand new car from here and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The sales associate did not explain the process of buying a car and the timelines, he did not know the features of the car thoroughly. Luckily, I had done my own research and had gone to another dealership before where they explained all the features nicely. He gave me the run around when trying to figure out when I could pick up the car and as a result I had to take 2 days off of work because I had already changed my insurance.

The sales manager, Terry, is on some sort of an ego trip and clearly doesn't understand that he is working for a dealership. When I escalated a complaint to him he was personally offended I was holding him accountable, when in fact I was referring to their dealership as a whole.

I'm appalled at the customer service, and I wish I had never purchased from them. Definitely not recommended except to see how low in price they will go for their car because they try to push as many cars out of their dealership as they can. Then, go to another Hyundai and use that price as leverage as I know the sales associates will take better care of you there.

Update: escalated complaint to the owner and he could not care less about my wasted time or to speak with me properly and understand the situation. I understand that he's closer with the employees and takes their word - but I could tell the only reason he called was because I filed a complaint with Hyundai Customer Service and asked for it be escalated to him. Sorry for wasting your time Mr. Attrell!

Update 2: I went to pick up my car and they had not even installed the remote starter I paid to have installed and told me to come back another day (although after complaining they did their best to try to accommodate me and my time). I told them to just remove it as I could not be bothered dealing with this dealership anymore. Also, despite the aforementioned complaint filed, the sales associate was super nice to me and showed me the vehicle properly so I redacted his name from this review.

Did not feel welcome here. When I walked in, I was wondering for where to go related my parts purchase question. There were no signs nothing. I saw 4 girls seating on their office chairs on the right corner and they kept working without noticing me. I kept standing for 2 minutes wondering where to go. Finally asked the girls is this the reception and one told yes. Then told about my parts query. I was then directed to a call on someone in service department. The guy on phone asked if I purchased vehicle from them. I said no, then he was literally not interested in my question. Every single staff member I've encountered has been so friendly and helpful. They were patient and fair, and I ended up buying my first brand new vehicle from them. Since then, I still go back for my oil changes and they're always speedy and help me out with any extra questions I have. Sometimes they'll warn me that they extremely busy in the service department and it might be a wait and give me the option of skipping the wash if I'm in a hurry.

Sales rep Hassan Iftikher and Sales Manager Terry Masood were fantastic, easy to work with, and interacted with me without any of the pressure tactics I've experienced over the years. When Terry heard I had a negative experience many years ago when I bought a 1994 Sonata, he went out of his way to assure me that the Sonata has undergone many refinements since then and, that experience would not be repeated. (confirmed by the many reviews and ratings I've read on line). Once I decided that I wanted to proceed (the next day), negotiations were quick, flexible and fair). I was totally pleased with the end result. The car is a dream to drive and, of interest, my wife loves it as well.
