Unfortunately I bought a 2014 Hyundai Santé Fe Limited Edition vehicle in April- May of 2018, in 2019 after a recall for a engine knock detector had been installed I had someone take my vehicle for a test drive, along with this test drive they used Carfax and asked me if I was aware of the accident this vehicle was in. I was not aware of this as I had asked Danny Crane to confirm the vehicle was perfect as he said it was... I asked Danny Crane if the vehicle had been in an accident, he assured me that the vehicle was not ever in an accident, I should NOT HAVE TRUSTED Danny Crane because the vehicle was in an accident 2 weeks prior to me buying it. In 2019 (one year after purchase) I went directly to Danny and he went to the manager Fred and they said they were not sure of the details upon sale and couldn't be sure if they checked or not...I thought that was a very nasty move on their part to cover their hides and the only way they would compensate me was that they would not penalize me if I chose to buy another vehicle with them, trading in my current vehicle HOWEVER, NOW I will be penalized by every other dealer in St. Johns or Canada for that matter...because they lied to me willingly. WHY would I choose to do business with them any longer after they lied to me, while I was unaware of the accident, they quickly procured a $26000 loan on top of the $10000 negative equity I had from a previous Tucson, that I had no choice but trade in. This was all part of Capital Hyundai's "we'll buy your Hyundai" "deal" they had on scam, not a deal. So at that point I was into a $36000 loan for a used vehicle that had been in an accident a few weeks prior...The real value of my vehicle when I bought it with the negative equity carry over would have been closer to 29000 or 30 000 max, now after a full year of paying it is down to that value. I am SO angry with Danny Crane and Capital Hyundai as a whole. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere! Matthew 7: 2 Vengeance is Gods!

We bought a used 2015 Santa Fe from Capital Hyundai in September 2020.
We were told it was inspected but I would highly doubt that. In less than a year it needed 2 new front wheel bearings and new back brakes plus a brake caliper and a trailing arm bushing. We confronted our salesman who basically just shoed us away and didn't really care. They were nice to deal with initially but I feel they definitely wanted to sell us the car as fast as possible to meet their monthly quota.

I ordered a touch-up pen for my car and was told it would be in-store in 4 weeks. After not hearing back in 6 weeks, I called to check on my order.
It was never ordered.

I asked to have it ordered and was told it was "on backorder". I asked when it would arrive and was told "it's on backorder".
It was again, not ordered.

I ordered a new bonnet for my car and was told it would take 10 days to arrive in-store. I asked to have the receipt sent to my email.
I have yet to get the email.

I wouldn't suggest buying from this company (if you manage to get an actual order put in) as they will take your money and not deliver the product or service.

I have had the hardest time with Hyundai. My 2020 Kona broke down due to a recall. It has been almost 3 weeks I've gone without a car and every time I call I get nowhere. I was approved by Hyundai Canada for a rental but due to my age they told me at the dealership that I can't have one. But then when I call rental companies, I am of age to rent one.Today I called hoping to get a car for the weekend, I was transferred 7 times on the phone, each person I talked to said I needed to talk to someone else. I got so frustrated that they were just transferring me instead of listening that I ended up getting nowhere and having to hang up. I will never deal with this dealership or company again after my contract is up. Totally disgusted by the way I have been treated.

Cars are reliable but the service is not good when something goes wrong. I had an issue with my car 9 months ago they ordered in the part to be replaced. They called me last week to let me know the part came in...in the time frame it took for that one part to come in I was able to list my house for sale, sell the car in question, buy a new car, sell my house, move to Nova Scotia, buy a new house and live in Nova Scotia for 2 months. Just to give you an idea how long it took for the part to come in....I'd probably look into these types of issues if you are looking to keep customers.

Just picked up my new Hyundai Elantra GT luxury, test drove that and the awd Kona preferred Felix and Jeff both wiped down and cleaned both Rigs with germ defender so I had no worries about cleanliness.

Both vehicles were great but the Elantra GT was much more fun and that ultimately made my decision.

I have to say we had the worse service at Hyundai in St. John’s today. We were asked to have our car at Hyundai before 8:00am this
morning for an oil change and tire change . We called at 1:00pm to check on when the car would be ready and we were told that somebody
would call us back in 10 minutes, well that didn’t happen. We called again around 4:00pm
and we were told it would probably be around 6:00pm. and that’s when we got the call .
Plus it cost $180.00 pretty pricey. So disappointing. I certainly wouldn’t rush back there. 🙁

Great cars, very poor service department. Took 3 hours to change tires with a booked appointment. They were storing the winter tires and didn't even bother to get them before hand. I was not informed of any of the situation and was only told that it would soon be ready. I guess soon was still another hour away. This is the 3rd mishap and I cant see myself returning there. Really wish I had better experiences there. Will consider other manufacturers when shopping for my next vehicle.

It was a totally new experience for us as this was a new process that Calgary Hyungia was using.
They asked us a bunch of questions in regards to what we wanted for performance for reliability or workability and a few other areas they said this would give them some clarity as to what our actual needs might be.
Dam they got it right they put to getter a basic package and then offered options to make it last longer.
All in all it was the best put together a package where the dealership listen to the customer and heard what they were saying put the basic package together to meet the customers needs not the dealers needs.
This is what I would refer to as a paradigm shift in a positive direction.

Had my 2013 Santa Fe diagnosed by a certified mechanic as having the baffles gone in the muffler, Was informed by the mechanic that it was one continues welded piece from the catalic converter to the tail piece and that it would have to be replaced as a unit. Since the converter was warranted for 8 yrs or 130,00 km my car would be covered under warranty. Took the car to Capital Hyundai in St. Johns NL. and was told that it would cost me $1350.00 to have the muffler replaced as the muffler was not warranted. I explained that it was a continuous welded unit but they said they would cut it out and replace it using clamps . $ 950.00 for the muffler and @ $139.95 an hr. labour rate it doesn't take long to add up. This muffler is not available at any auto parts store in Nl
I think this is a complete rip off. I bought this car new for $ 40,000 and was under the impression that if a part failed it would be replaced with the same original Hyundai part not some part cut out and an aftermarket piece put in with clamps . I will soon be in the market for a new car and you can bet that it won't be a Hyundai product with this kind of service .

The Comox Valley Hyundai offers very Professional, Friendly, "Above the Norm" Service to their clients... Whether you purchased at the Dealership or not they welcome you and strive to make the servicing as pleasant and convenient as possible. Depending on the day and service requirements of your vehicle it could take several hours. I have availed myself of their FREE Shuttle Service to go to Costco, out for lunch and browsing on Main Street on several occasions. A text or call lets me know when my Vehicle will be ready and I am picked up at my convenience. My Hyundai is sparkling clean inside and out, the Service Agent has my paper work ready and informs me of any concerns, next appointment is booked...and I'm on my way.
