When I arrived in the store, I tested driving a few more cars, And finally selected a used car. We were looking for a used car and came across a Mazda 3 that was competitively priced at Murray Hyundai in White Rock. We scheduled a appointed to meet a sales rep Gary Ali. We found the entire purchase experience very good and purchased the vehicle.

What blew me away was the after sales service. Shortly after driving the vehicle home we noticed a noise coming from the front end. I decided to take it to a Mazda dealer to have it inspected and they confirmed a part Connected to the suspension is damaged and needed to be replaced.

We contacted Gary and explained to him that a part is damaged, not expecting much. Gary was sympathetic and spoke to his bosses Andrew and Sam. We were told to bring the vehicle back so they can do an inspection on the damaged part and repair it!

Good service to get a sale is to be expected. The after sale care we received is beyond what we or anyone could’ve expected.

We would not hesitate to recommend Gary or Murray Hyundai White Rock to any of our friends who are looking for a new or used vehicle. 5*

Great experience whether its the Sales or Service team. On multiple occasions i find that you get the right advice, support and service, with the marketed quality and experience met by the team. The team is professional and super nice and as a customer makes you feel good about taking your business there, which cannot be said for other dealerships experience. Took my genesis in for a faulty sensor which is covered under warranty. When I get there, the service rep Lucas tells me that it's 430 and they might not be able to get it done by the end of the day. First off, your company was the one who booked me in for 430 and knew what the issue was. Second if the day was busy then you could have called and informed the customer to rebook their appointment. Anyways after telling him this, he says we will try our best to get it done by 6. Once they finished looking at the car, he comes to tell me that the sensor was damaged and will not be covered under warranty. I tell him I've had the car for almost a year and have not gotten into any accidents, it also doesn't make sense electrically for the sensor to fail years after a collision. If it was due to damage it would fail upon impact. Then he says it could have been from a parking lot bump, again there's no physical damage on the bumper and makes no sense. So I ask him I'd like to take a look and see this "damage" and he says oh sorry the bumper was put back on. Why would you put the bumper back on when replacing the sensor is only a 15 minute job! Everything seemed very suspicious and I felt scammed as they took payment still for checking the car. Probably the worst customer service I've ever dealt with, DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

DEEP SCRATCH
Took my car in for service but didn't notice until a couple hours after I left, that there was a deep scratch in my rear bumper and a oily thumb print above it.
I contacted Danny, sent him the pictures and waited for a response. I called multiple times and went into the dealership. After 2 months I went back in and confronted Danny. He blamed me and refused to take ownership of his crews mistake.
Be sure to do an inspection on your vehicle before leaving here because ICBC won't cover damages found after leaving their lot.

So it was time for me to get a new vehicle which is great except for the process which I absolutely hate! Long story short, after doing my research I had narrowed it down to 2 vehicles. Went to a local dealer to test drive it and wasn’t impressed with it which left me with my other choice, the Hyundai Tucson as I live in Vancouver, I have 2 dealers somewhat close so I went to the dealer on boundary with the intention of test driving the vehicle. Wandered around the lot looking at vehicles and nobody came to ask if they could help so I ended up leaving due to lack of service. So I thought I’d try the next closest dealer (also a Open Road dealership) but this time I’d call to set a appointment I called 3 times and twice it rang and rang before going to voicemail and the one time someone answered, they asked me to hold and after being on hold for almost 5 minutes I hung up. I decide to try one more Hyundai dealer and if unsuccessful I’d try another brand.

Murray Hyundai White Rock came through for me thanks to the general sales manager Melissa Milnes Talking to Melissa on the phone to arrange everything before I arrived there was easy, non stressful and pleasant. Melissa said she would call in the morning once everything was approved and true to her word she did. She asked when I would like to come in and when I arrived, Mellisa was actually in the process of parking my sparkling new Tucson out front. Melissa was extremely professional yet friendly and approachable which is a complete 180 from the usual pushy sales pitch I’m sure everyone expects. After showing me my vehicle, Melissa introduced me to Melissa in the finance office who I’ll refer to as Mel to avoid confusion. Lol. Mel was just as friendly (yet professional) and we had a good chat before she explained everything about my finance agreement and terms. Mel also pointed out a error on my credit report with one of the credit bureaus (thank you!) that I need to get fixed. When I finished with Mel, she led me to the insurance desk and once done there, Mel handed me a folder with all my paperwork and walked me over to Melissa who then went through all the features on the vehicle with me.

Finally I just have to say a HUGE thank you to Melissa and Melissa (haha) for making the whole experience a enjoyable, relaxed and easy experience which is what buying a new vehicle should be.

Go see the two Melissa’s, you will be glad you did!!!

She really was a joy to deal with and I'll gladly drive the 30 minutes back just to buy from this dealership (and Shelley). This is a very trustworthy team from what I can tell. Bought my brand new Elantra 2019 from this dealership and they literally sold me a piece of junk. Called in a few times and left my name and number but no one called me. Asked them for an exchange and was told we don't do that. Why even advertise if you can't replace ?

The car has serious steering alignment issues to the point that it is unsafe for driving( have been working with diff dealership and even they say that it is beyond repair as the issue comes back)
Will be escalating it this week beyond dealership level. You just lost a bunch of customers as my friends and family are never going to buy a vehicle from here based on the experience I have had since December 2018. THANKS A TON FOR RISKING MY LIFE

Top notch customer service and I have been coming here for the past 5 years. Whoever you deal with in customer service will take the time to explain any problem you may have with your car. My one criticism which would apply to any Hyundai dealer is the costs of filters for your car. Amazon cabin filter $8.87 USD while at the dealer $40.00 CDN. Were not talking quality here, just a sort of ripoff. And I will not go into the large cost difference in engine air filters.
