I've always have had a great experience with servicing my Genesis G70 with OpenRoad Hyundai. Genesis offers a concierge service where my car is picked up from my home and then dropped off the same day. They also provide you with a Genesis rental to use for the day and do a great job of cleaning my car. Matt, the service manager, and his team are always super helpful both for the servicing and also when I went in to purchase a set of winter rims and tires. They're all very knowledgeable and have a strong commitment to customer service.

I visited this dealership recently to test drive one of their SUVs. Car dealerships seem to be one of the last hold outs for blatant sexism, so I was expecting to be irritated, but was not prepared for my interaction with one of their sales associates. From being up-sold trim to include keyless entry because "this is better for women", to asking for my "beautiful drivers license", and being asked if I needed to be shown how to adjust the seat while I was pulling the seat forward. Even if this was the car for me, I would have gone elsewhere to complete the transaction

My friend brought a car from here two weeks ago. I don’t know how these sales people can sleep at night especially the salesperson called Alfie. He scams customers said they will give out free accessories and end up charging it with out telling. Will tell other friend don’t buy anything from this untrustworthy company!

Horrible sales experience from Alfie and his manager. Very unprofessional sales tactics and deceiving tricks. Recently made a purchase on the new 2020 Hyundai Sonanta Hybrid ultimate. Alfie promised free premium all weather floor mats, cargo tray, winter tires and 18 in wheels for free but will not be able to lower the car price. So we agreed on the sale believing that I was getting an amazing deal. However they included all the accessories in my monthly payments. Alfie never showed me the total cost but only showed me the monthly payments. I was only able to see all the cost after I signed and got the car.

Can anyone please tell me why I see a difference of $1868.44?
Do all car dealerships put hidden costs at the end?

When I called to Alfie all he would say was he lowered the car price to make up for the accessories but he only dropped the vehicle around $300 and when I asked for the manager the front desk will tell me he is busy.

In addition, las Wednesday I made an appointment to pick up all my accessories on Monday. But when I went to pick it up today my wheels were all covered in white lubricant they used to put on the tires and were never wiped. It took me 2 hours to clean all the wheels because they did not clean it before it dried up. Hyundai Richmond had almost a week to get it cleaned and ready for the pick up date

All in all, had a horrible experience purchasing a car for the first time Hyundai Richmond and would not recommend this location.

Just came from the service. I had an issue which was quite scary for me & my family. With Victoria Hyundai dealer, I raised that issue a month ago to be charged for nothing & had to wait for 3 days. After a month, I felt something was wrong for certain. I visited this place & got it fixed in less than 2 hours. I was being listened and was immediately attended. I was charged half of what Victoria Hyundai charged me. I am able to continue my work without any loss. Thank you.

As the owner of a Sonata and a Genesis G80, I see the sales and service departments of OpenRoad Hyundai (Richmond) more than most car owners. While the sales team are always professional, our relationship is quite brief. My long term relationship with the service department is where this OpenRoad really shines. Sometimes having a vehicle serviced is a bit like going to the Dentist, necessary, but not always something to look forward to. I have had my 2018 Genesis serviced at Richmond Open Road Hyundai for the past two years - I can’t praise highly enough the quality of excellent customer service I receive. The service manager Matt and the Genesis tech Bryce always go to extraordinary lengths to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction ( including Matt , on his own time, personally dropping off at my home my dry cleaned shirts that I had inadvertently left in the trunk of a loaner car!!! ) .The service reps are consistently friendly and courteous and the service to my Genesis exceeds my expectations on every level - After every

We stopped by Open Road Hyundai because it was the closest auto shop. Matt didn't charge us and said it was on the house. Service: I had my '16 Tucson in recently for some warranty work, and was very pleased with the level of service from Sam and the team there. While other dealerships seem to triage their appointments according to the value of the service being performed, it seemed to me that my vehicle was being handled by the same mechanic each time, to ensure that the identified issue was fixed properly. Estimates for service time were accurate, and all staff there were pleasant to deal with. Since this was no charge warranty work, I can't comment on service pricing, but I will definitely be taking my vehicle back to this Hyundai location, when the need arises.

The Richmond Open Road Hyundai temporary location is tight on space but they still manage to provide excellent customer service. The staff are personable, polite, professional and genuinely helpful. In particular, Samuel Ho, the service rep today, represented the company well and should be commended for his hard work, efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail. They also keep you up to date with text notifications. Free coffee and water is standard in most dealerships but nice nevertheless. A shuttle service is also provided if you’d rather go to the nearby malls instead of waiting on site. Booking was convenient and they can often accommodate you on short notice, even if it’s the very next day. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I have never taken my vehicle elsewhere then to OpenRoad Hyundai. Certainly there are always "deals" at other places but the main reason is because of the people at the Service Department. I know what I paid for is what is in my best interest and this is coming from us buying a second car from this dealership. Both cars where serviced only at this dealership's service department.

I hope you understand the lack of English skills
Their attitude toward customers first was perfect
There were also Chinese-speaking staff in consideration of the Chinese who live in Richmond
There was no boredom in the course of the car repair and some snacks
The space that I could wait for was as comfortable as my house.
I always gave satisfaction when I used modernity in Korea
But the modern Richmond store in Canada surprised me even more
Even though we asked for engine oil exchange, tire pressure check, indoor car wash, audio automatic update, washer fluid supplement ...
They checked it out even though I didn't mention it
How much fun are you having?

When my wife and I went to buy our first brand new car in 21 years we went to the auto mall in Richmond and we were so impressed with the friendliness and and professionalism we received from the salesperson from Hyundai we bought the car then. That was over a year ago. Since then I have taken the car in for routine service. My first visit to the service department I was greeted by Molly. She was and still is amazing. I have been happy with the service received.
However, I am disappointed with the value of the "bumper-to-bumper" extended warranty. I was advised at the time of purchase that the extended warranty was full coverage for the extended time period for items covered by the regular warranty.
The other day I had to have my fobs reprogrammed because they stopped working, one altogether and then other during cold mornings. This would have been covered under the normal warranty.
I was advised on my last visit that the sound system is not covered beyond its normal warranty of three years.
While I have no problem with the cost of normal replacement of items that suffer wear and tear (tires, brakes, spark plugs, etc.) from regular use I am finding the loopholes in the extended warranty frustrating. I even had to pay to replace the windshield wipers in the first year of service with less than 5000 KMs. on the vehicle.

So I decided to sell and transfer it to my sister and got myself the newest genesis sedan. It drives incredibly smooth and the seats are so comfy.
