Well after much searching in the lower mainland we found our dream truck in Penticton. John was extremely helpful prior to even leaving for our road trip, with e-mail information and a live video which really put our minds at ease prior to leaving. Yesterday my boyfriend and I went shopping for our first car together with moderately low expectations and some trauma from previous dealerships. Tanner swooped in, ready to help in the lot of amazing cars. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and so great. When we had finally picked out the car we liked, Liam came in ready to crunch numbers and make it work. After lots of helpful discussion we are the happy car-parents to a blue 2018 Hyundai Tucson.

Darren Geddes, in the service dept, was amazing. I popped a tire and was unable to find the same tire in Osoyoos or Oliver. Desperately needing a tire so I could drive back to Vancouver I contacted Hyundai in Penticton and Darren sourced the tire and had in Penticton the same day. Once I arrived at Hyundai the tire was on my truck very quickly. Darren was courteous, professional and he made us laugh. Big thanks to Darren and Hyundai.

I am from Calgary, AB and have been staying in Summerland for a few weeks. A couple months ago I noticed that my AC was not working properly after only getting it fixed last year in Calgary. I phoned Penticton Hyundai, and they booked me in quickly, and got my car serviced & fixed in a matter of 2 days. They were quick to ensure my boyfriend and I that warranty would cover this, and actually informed me it was a 5 year warranty not 2. Unexpectedly, we needed to change out our 8 year old-winter tires and I have to say, our visit to the Penticton Hyundai Service Centre was nothing less than spectacular. I was with my toddler and was dreading the 1.5 hour that we would have to wait. However, from the moment we walked in (even though we had never been here), Darren and his team were so kind and professional. We were given the option of having the shuttle drop us off (and pick us up) but then, my toddler fell in love with the candy highlighters also on offer and insisted on drawing and doodling in the very comfortable lounge space they have (complete with TV and remote). We enjoyed chatting with other customers, laughing with staff and the hour flew by. Before I knew it, I was trying to convince my toddler to leave (fancy that eh?) The tires are great and I'm super thankful that they were able to squeeze us in before the dump of snow this week. Thanks for such great service Darren - all the stars and hope our paths cross again.

Mike Van de Leest was the salesman for our purchase of a used Santa Fe. He set up a lot before we arrived for our test drive to make things easier as we are from out of town. He is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They do not pressure you at this dealership. Jason in finance was also very personable and his experience was a real asset to the process. Everyone we met seemed quite genuine and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and important. Big Mike is definitely someone we would recommend talking to if you are looking for a vehicle.

I finally got the IONIQ PHEV that I’ve been waiting for two weeks! John solved all my questions, and he gave me a lot of fun from counselling to purchasing it. Mike has a great knowledge of electric cars. Even if he doesn't know the answer to your question, he will find out as quickly as possible. He stresses correct information rather than fast information, which I think is exemplary service.
I typically do not go to dealerships because of negative experiences but from the minute we were introduced to Mike to the day I drove my car away it was an excellent experience. I would like to commend the great service at Penticton Hyundai .As well as fixing my flat on my wonderful 2016 Elantra GT on short notice a couple of weeks ago , after swapping my tires to summers myself after about 100 km. I discovered a strange noise.I dropped in to find out what it could be.
Mechanic Justin analyzed the problem as being some loose lug nuts which had backed off from the torqued spec. Fixed the issue in minutes and I was on my way.Thanks to everyone I feel well looked after and will recommend this dealership to all.

IIT was a bad experience in that they did not tell us that the truck was a rental car and then they sold us a extended warranty which was started at time of sale. The truck is a2013 Chev with 14 months of warranty left on it.w We have problems with a bent rim tires moved to hide the fact. The heater was freezing up an a clunk noise in the drive shaft or rear end. We sold the truck this may and found out all this and that we had been paying for the extended warranty that we cannot use and 12 mouths
of the warranty is used up because of extended started at time of sale. We had been let to believe that the extended warranty was to start after the factory warranty was up . and when we came in about the warranty and cancelling it we have been sent out with a phone number and told to go home and call it no help from Hyundai's staff.
A car purchase is a big deal for anyone but our recent purchase at Penticton Hyundai was one of the most pleasant experiences we have had. From the moment we walked into the beautiful, friendly showroom to the finalization of the purchase the following day, the ownership of our new 2014 Santa Fe Sport was a pleasant happening.
You can buy a quality vehicle anywhere but the professionalism of the staff at the dealership is what makes the event special. This was the case for us at Penticton Hyundai. The day began with the friendly greeting of the sales team leader and was reinforced by the welcome from the Manager both of whom spent as much time getting to know us as purchasers as they did selling the virtues of the SUV Family Car of the Year. There was absolutely no pressure to buy a vehicle, in fact our intention was just to look around at vehicles for a few days but here we were purchasing the first new vehicle we had looked at. The process was so seamless and efficient, we were signing the agreement before we knew it.
The finance department was also most efficient, friendly, and professional. Additional costs for insurance, undercoating, paint protection and other essentials on a new car, were clearly explained…efficiently and effectively in all ways.
The last pleasant surprise came from the maintenance department at Penticton Hyundai. The Manager took my wife and over to the Head of the Department and introduced us. He explained what they were going to do with getting the car ready, made some last minute changes, winter tires installed and summer tires stored, and provided us with a loaner car during the overnight wait period while undercoating and paint protection was completed.
We drove off within 24 hours in our new Santa Fe Sport, content and pleased and feeling part of a long-term relationship with the Penticton Hyundai Family.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Penticton Hyundai and I have to say it was a great experience. I discovered the vehicle I wanted (a 2008 Nissan Versa hatchback) when scanning Autotrader one day. Spencer from Penticton Hyundai was quick to reply to my request for information on the car. He had already set the car up well on the website...LOTS of pictures inside and out, lots of description and he sent me the Car Proof and other service work done on the vehicle. He answered all of my questions promptly, and I decided to fly down from Northern BC to check out the car and hopefully drive it back (he even picked me up from the Kelowna airport).
