Drove a '14 Santa Fe. Salesman said he didn't know the price of the vehicle we wanted but would get it back at the dealer. Got back and waited quite a while in the very cold building and he brought back numbers for a model we didn't want. The MSRP was quite (2000) a bit over the MSRP on the web site but perhaps was for a '15 which they didn't yet have. He told us the particular vehicle did not qualify for $1500 rebate or 0% finance even though another dealer said it was included that month and the website confirmed the vehicle qualified. AFTER the MSRP was a $900 dealer fee PLUS a $2200 'accessory' fee. When asked he said the accessory fee was for things like wheel locks and tire nitrogen, we pointed out wheel locks were 30 bucks on their own website. Then he said the accessory fee included a 5.5% markup to pay for the nice receptionist that didn't acknowledge us at all. I said too bad it didn't go to pay for heat since we were freezing in there. The quote also offered 7.99% financing. We mentioned again that we were in a hurry and had to go. He mentioned his sales manager liked to meet everyone and went to get him. We waited a bit again and decided since this was going no where we would just leave instead of waiting another lengthy period for a salesman that doesn't know MSRPs and thinks we're paying 7.99% financing. I wrote the GM and Hyundai Canada expressing that the sales experienced pushed us off hyundai altogether but never heard back from either. Good luck to those that darken the chilly doors.

I set up an appointment via email to view a pre-owned vehicle that was advertised online. After driving 45 minutes to the dealership they informed me the vehicle I was scheduled to look at was not ready to view and needed refurbishing. I asked if I could at least put my car seat in the back seat to see how much space there was. The sales person said they would check with their manager and left me waiting outside in the rain for 25 minutes until I finally left. Complete waste of my time. No respect for potential customers.

We purchased a vehicle from the Calgary Sunridge Hyundai dealership on April 4-2020 and within less than a week on April 11-2020 the front driver side strut broke. I was simply backing out of the driveway when the spring snapped in half completely. The strut was completely rusted out. Why was this not caught on the original inspection at the time of purchase?
The vehicle was transported to Fountain Tire as it was a late Saturday evening and the dealership would not be open until Monday, April 13-2020. I was in need of a quick repair. I have a daughter with many medical ailments and I need to be able to get her care on the drop of a dime. Fountain Tire was able to assess the vehicle, complete the repair and perform another inspection all by the late afternoon of Monday, April 13-2020. When I approached Ken Woo about the issue at Calgary Hyundai dealership on Monday morning he said not to worry and that everything would be covered. When he was presented the bill the next day he said he would work on it and get back to us shortly. Once we received his reply he stated that he would only cover the cost of one strut, no labor. This would only cover $152.00 of the $1651.91 bill.
This man initially said that he would cover everything. He even went as far as trashing his mechanic and said that errors came up from him all the time. Why are you retaining such a poor mechanic if he can’t do his job properly? He stated that he sympathized with us and would take care of us. What an absolute liar….
I cannot describe in words just how unprofessional these people are. You endangered my family by producing a false and unreliable inspection. You cost my family an unnecessary amount of money in repairs when this all should have been caught at the original inspection. How dare you tell me that you will fix your mistake just to tell me after repairs that you won’t. I was sold a faulty vehicle and I’m absolutely repulsed that no one could care less. This problem is on you and your poor excuse of a team. I don’t deserve the repercussions that I have been given from your team and their lack of professionalism and poor ethics.

Purchased a 2018 Tucson on Friday, there was little bit scratch on the vehicle, got a phone call from my sales BK on Saturday says the vehicle is ready for delivery. Arranged delivery on Wednesday due to personal reason, wonderful and timely work done (on dealer's cost), very happy with the vehicle. BK and Billy tried their best to fits in my budget as my case was a pretty tough one I think.

We heard weird sounds in the engine of our Tucson (pistons were scoring the cylinder walls), took it in and learned that we would need a new engine. :-( Joey was very upfront with everything, went above and beyond for us, and got Hyundai to replace the engine! :-D All the work was done in a very timely fashion and we can now drive confidently to the grocery store once a week... :P The staff at Calgary Hyundai are very polite and respectful and the service is top notch. Had my vehicle taken in today for an oil change, thought it was great that you were having a Free valet service for this month especially with this virus going on, was told in the email that you guys would wipe down and sterilize the hard surfaces on my vehicle which was definitely not done and on top of that your driver ate in my vehicle! eating in someones personal vehicle is a big no no in my books when it comes to good customer service, when i confronted the driver about it he said "the windows were down so it wont stink" which i don't know if he actually was lying or it didn't matter but my car stunk of banana when i got into it later on today. very disgusted and disappointed in the service received today

My 2016 Elantra GT was shuddering when the engine was started, so I called CH Service and arranged to drop off the vehicle that afternoon. Was contacted by 10:30 the next morning to say that the vehicle was ready to be picked up (washed and dried) and that there would be no charge for the service as it was deemed to be covered by warranty. I bought Santa FE in MAY 2019. Unfortunately last month i did hit the curb, i went to Calgary Hyundai the same day to get an estimate. As i was paying for that and the issue doesn't fall under warranty they charged me $150 which i agreed to pay.
After two days i got a call from Service Adviser(Assistant Manager) stating that the total i need to pay is around $1500 and it will take 2-6 weeks to fix the vehicle.
Then i got a call from same guy after 2 weeks and he said my vehicle is ready for Pickup.
I went there and did the test drive. To my surprise the Steering was not positioned in the middle and the wheels wasn't aligned. He took the test drive and by driving he said this is factory grade alignment and position of the steering is fine.

I rejected the delivery and asked them to fix it. Next day i got my car but when i was driving and taking right turns it was making grinding noise and there was a vibration on steering.

I called them and made an appointment for same. When i reached there they said we will be charging you $150 for diagnostics which i rejected to pay because the repair was not done properly.

And again to my surprise they said there is no issue with the car after diagnostics. I wonder how incompetent their mechanics are, They just don't do the quality check. First they didn't do the alignment and steering was not fixed. Then they couldn't find any noise. And to hide the incompetence of mechanics, Service adviser first said the alignment is Hyundai grade and if there is noise it may be because of Lane keep assist which was a total lie.

They charged me $1500 and didn't fixed the problem and ruined my driving experience. I am afraid of driving my car when it grinds and vibrates, i doubt it will break down on my way some day.

I am sorry to say but they don't know how to fix the cars.
If you don't care about your customers then you are not caring about your business.

I am taking this issue to Hyundai Canada as well.

I dealt with Ken when I purchased my vehicle. He was great....the service dept- not so much. Brought my car in a week after purchase for engine noise and recall (I bought a gently used 2017 Tucson). Jenae neglected to put me on the shuttle list so I sat there for 2.5 hrs waiting for my ride to work and ended up 3 hrs late for work and had to use my vacation time to make up for it. The apology I received (after she sidestepped blame) was empty, generic and useless.
The only thing that stopped me losing my mind on someone was their delightful shuttle driver Ron.
I had read bad reviews regarding their service department prior to purchasing.
I gave them a try as they did come under new ownership in July ..... I will be going to Crowfoot for servicing from now on.
So...sales- good. Shuttle driver- great. Service advisor- 😡😡😡.

I feel pretty taken advantage of to be honest. The sale was rushed, I was made to feel like an inconvenience because I didn't have a vehicle and they offered to pick me up and reimburse my uber. (Never did get reimbursed) Upon picking up the vehicle I had a temp plate on it, I was told the car hadn't been cleaned, would take about 2 hrs and I needed to bring it back. I asked why it wasn't cleaned before I picked it up. "There had been a changeover in staff and it wasn't communicated." As I was going out of town that weekend and couldn't commit to coming I was then threatened with a penalty for not bringing the temporary plates back. That issue eventually was resolved however now the car is less than 3 months old and the brakes are hissing. Can't get anyone to call me back. It's been constant phone tag. Being told they can't find me in the system and when I ask questions about if it's covered under warranty no one will give me a direct answer. Confirming my fears if buying a used car.

This is my first time buying from a dealership and in general the experience was very good. Doug and BK were of great help. I found out after driving a 100km that the front rotors need replacment and they replaced them for free.

I would really appreciate if the kilometers on the ad match that of the car as there was a difference of 1800km because they didn't update it regularly. Other than that, the car drives great and the while experience is very good.

My 2001 Sonata Limited was a beautiful car, and I have fond memories of taking my daughter on a 31 day road trip from Calgary to Key West Florida and back.

Before the vehicle's key was returned, once again he explained us each single item on the vehicle inspection report thoroughly and we no needed to ask him any questions. It is such a great feeling to know there is someone who will listen to you patiently and care and try to find a solution for your concerns and problems.

He took the time to hear what we were looking for and did not push us into making any decisions, I felt as though he actually listened to us rather than just being concerned with making commission like other salesmen. I was met at Calgary Hyundai's used car division by Jozef Markovic and I didn't present him with an easy task as I was interested in reviewing a range of Hyundai vehicles that included the Sonata, Elantra Hatchback, Accent Hatchback and Veloster. These vehicles I knew didn't allow him to pinpoint exactly what I was looking for, however Jozef handled the task with grace outlining the features of each model.
I do have a good knowledge of vehicle mechanics and was interested in the Hyundai lineup for 'value for money' and had studied their specifications. I was very happy that Jozef had good mechanical knowledge too.
I did not make Jozef's life any easier when even though I was targeting the Veloster, I refused to test drive it at this stage and said I would return next day with my wife to get her opinion. Jozef did not try any high pressure sales at this point at the risk I would not return.
On our return we did test drive the Veloster and proceeded with the purchase. Jozef gave us his total attention through to the final pick-up. The experience with him and all the support staff was as good as it could possible be. I would definitely recommend Jozef and Calgary Hyundai.

This place is amazing. Best customer service ever. I was treated like a normal person by normal people, no high-pressure sales games. I had been to over a dozen dealerships and was so frustrated that many kept me there for hours leading me on, only to tell me they didn't have the make I wanted or mislead me with cost. A friend recommend this one and it paid off. My sales rep BK and the manager Don were professional, efficient with my time and went above and beyond getting me into an affordable new vehicle. Plus they gave me a decent trade-in value for my old one. The difference between here and another certain Hyundai dealer in the north (*cough*near deerfoot) was like night and day. I highly recommend the Calgary Hyundai crew who are doing something right and respecting customers like... customers.
