Just purchased a new civic and couldn’t be happier with the friendly service we received. Rick (sales), Dave (sales manager) and Megan (finance manager) were all so knowledgeable and made this car buying experience amazing. After having a terrible experience with another Honda dealership closer to our house years ago, we were a little weary of buying from Honda again, but the staff at Kawartha completely changed that for us. We will gladly make the hour long drive to this dealer from now on. Thanks again:)
I needed some unscheduled same day service prior to a trip that was the result of a minor collision with a tree stump! Lisa from the service department was extremely kind and understanding and arranged to have my car fixed up for travel in short order. I am extremely grateful.

Was told I needed 4 new summer tires — and was priced at $1200 (just insane!). Knowing this was expensive I brought my car to Canadian Tire instead (total bill was $872 - almost 30% cheaper for BETTER tires!).
HERES THE BEST PART…
Canadian Tire upon installation pulls me aside and tells me I have 60% lifespan left on 3/4 tires and the 4th tire was almost in brand new condition!!! Honda dealership is an absolute scam!
Clearly the car shortage is forcing these criminals to make up the lost sales revenue in other non-ethical ways. So incredibly disappointed.
Worth noting: also told me I needed new shocks (my personal mechanic said they’re perfectly fine) told me I needed a new cabin filter (again, almost brand new from personally installing it a month earlier). Just insane how they get away with this for people who don’t know any better. BEWARE and always get a second opinion!
Amazing service, this dealership is on a whole other level when it comes to integrity. They sold me a 2020 honda civic and I couldn't be happier! Do yourself a favor and deal with these amazing people, you won't regret it

It was a bit weird buying a vehicle sight unseen during a pandemic, but the staff at Kawartha Lakes Honda went above and beyond to make this process very straight forward. Cindy, Megan and Sean were great at keeping us up to date on when our vehicle was coming and made the paperwork a breeze. More importantly, we bought a vehicle sight unseen because it is a Honda and based on previous vehicles we've owned, you can't go wrong. Our previous vehicle was bought at another bigger Honda dealer close to Toronto, but there we were a number after the sale was complete. It isn't the case here. Well worth going out of your way to get a vehicle from this place. Highly recommended.
However you sold the following lead and you know it is not in your inventory as you informed me several days ago, you still keep it live in platforms such as Kijiji to refer people who contact you about it to other deals in your showroom. This way of marketing wasted my time researching all details you put there, and probably many more other people who are searching to find a car. That's why I gave 1 star.

I went in to see what Kawartha Lakes honda could do for me to help my get out of my high interest loan and I was not disappointed. I was expecting to be told no sorry we cannot help you but Rick, Dave and Megan were all amazing and helped me trade my car in for a new one. I will definitely be going back again.
1st time customer to the service department and because of Andrew Webb it will definitely not be the last!!!! We brought our older model Acura RDX in with what we were told my our regular mechanic was a coolant leak. Andrew went above and beyond to provide info, answer my ridiculous questions and have the technician look for this supposed leak. There ended up being no leak at all, the cooling system was well sealed! KLH could have easily billed us for a costly repair that we were expecting but instead they were honest and true. Thank you again Andrew and the technician Ken Robertson for everything!!!
Got a 2019 Honda Civic Sport 2 years ago from KLH, since than i've been going back to do all my maintenance. Everyone is super helpful and nice. I'd recommend going there if you're in the market for a new car.

Worst dealership I've ever dealt with. Requested to have my car outside gate after warrenty ervice so I could pick up as I work odd hours. My car has been locked inside the gate unable for me to access.
Recently purchased a 2020 Honda Civic SI and couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. I have had involvement in 3 purchases over the past year, and all 3 times were great. Cindy is outstanding! I dealt with Cindy on all 3 purchases. She is knowledgeable, friendly, honest and has great customer service. Megan in finance was just as great. They provided full detail and explanation on every detail of each purchase. Cindy was great on showing all details of the car. My recent purchase was no different other than the hands on car detail on pick up due to Covid restrictions. Cindy stood outside the car and pointed out all key elements and told me to call if I needed anything. I would highly recommend both KLH and Cindy to anyone purchasing a vehicle. I have also received outstanding service from the service department. Lisa always greets me by name and never have I had to wait for a ride to work or when picking my car up after routine service. Great job all around KLH!
My husband purchased a Preowned Certified Vehicle and it had cosmetic issues that were noticed the day he picked it up and was reported within 25 minutes. The issue was not there when test driven and purchased, damaged happened during detailing prior to pickup.
They dragged it out with three different visits , multiple phone calls giving him the run around and finally said it was wasn't covered. Be aware that you can spend about $22,000 here and they will not stand behind there service.
Don't ever buy from here. such a shame because they were highly recommended by multiple people we know and our experience will be shared with them.
Dealing with Buddy in sales and Megan in the financial department was fantastic. Buddy knew exactly what I was looking for and found me the perfect deal. If you want to talk Honda's or golf, Buddy is your guy.
Just purchased a 3 year old Honda CR-V here. The car is amazingly well maintained, almost feels like a new car. Buddy is very friendly and professional, made this transaction really easy. I am very happy with this dealership.

I recently had my wife's C.R.V. serviced at this location and it started as a general service, oil change etc I got a report back from their service lady Lisa Gignac and we discussed everything. Then this virus hit and things changed. Lisa volunteered to have this C.R.V. picked up, serviced and delivered back to our house at no extra charge. She also confirmed that the quoted price was the same as the final price. Famous question would be, would you go back again?? and the final answer would be a resounding yes.
I wasted my time with those guys.. I drove a long way (1 hour) to see sth that appeared good in the pics . The price was low for obvious reasons (rental car with 4 owner changes) and very visible painted rusted sections that were not disclosed when asked Buddy about exterior inspection.. His response when called him on this... "i didn't see it". In the end i got attitude.
I went in to replace my car, Brittany was my sales rep and she was amazing, she was so knowledgeable and warm and friendly. She helped me plans out all my options and really understood what I wanted. Would definitely recommend!!!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS last a lifetime!! Not only did Buddy, greet me at the door, offer me a beverage - but he took the time to listen to what I wanted, to go through every detail of the vehicle I was trading in, offer a fair price -- and highlighted all the new features of the 2019 Ridgeline.
Which I must say --- are amazing! What a luxurious ride!! It truly is a fabulous truck - a great price point --- and god bless the person that designed heated seats!!! :)

After having to deal with Whitby Honda, Kawartha Lakes is like a dream! They know what customer service is and the difference between these dealerships is night and day.
We had our sliding door motor break on our odyssey and it was quite an expensive fix. Our van is only 3 years old and Andrew Webb took the time to explain how to help us and what we needed to do. In the end Honda Canada is covering all parts and labour for this fix thanks to Andrew. We will come to this dealership from now on

Lisa at the dealership was disorganized and made me wait and asked for information I had already provided on the phone. I had an email confirmation of my appointment for a recall with a co formation number and still there were issues. Andrew Webb was also involved in the issue. Can’t remember any details of a conversation last week. The noise inside is loud country music.
