UPDATE: I recently visited cobourg Honda for a tire change and normal seasonal jargon. When the main service person at the desk is sitting there without a mask on his face during a pandemic. Now if anyone came through or he had to be close to someone he wore his mask. But he never kept it on when surrounded by other people. I only lowered my rating by one star. I will still continue coming here.

Had an issue with a brake holding up (intermittent squeaking) when doing lots of stop and go driving and brakes are hot. Technicians quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it promptly and I was on my way!

I do not live in the local Cobourg area - about 1/2 hr west of them. I purchased my civic here almost 5 years ago based on a recommendation from a co-worker. The sales department was awesome. I do have a local Honda dealer but will definitely drive the 1/2 hr east to Cobourg for service. Brent and his peers are excellent. They are polite, professional, knowledgeable and don't fix anything unless it absolutely requires it. They bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable. I generally wait for my service and I can tell you, the time they say it takes to complete is 100% accurate. Very fast.
Don't forget to ask for a courtesy wash..... it's great too!

Did not like my sales guy that much, but that's par for the course with me and car sales people. However the service staff worked hard and long to solve a major issue I had with the head unit until it was finally good. They were great.

Sales staff are great, Service Department over charges more than others for some simple repairs. Other dealership like Belleville are much cheaper and more helpful. ie. needed bulbs replaced for fog lights Cobourg $150.00 said they had to take bumper off however in Belleville $0.00 they didn't have to take the bumper off ??? Another example : side door protectors to stick on ( 3m Tape) Cobourg Honda service quoted another $150.00, I did myself in 5 minutes for $0.00 Seriously??? I go somewhere else now you lost my business.
Excellent service! I had to at stop at this dealership while I was away from home because a light came on in the dash. They took the car in right away, checked it over and dealt with the issue. They got me back on the road in no time. Top notch dealership!!!

I’ve went here for a few years and have always had great service and car buying experiences. As of a recent experience, they can now say I wouldn’t go anywhere else for service and customer service. I had a very scary road side experience on the 401. When I called for help with fixing my car, the first thing the service manager (who happened to answer at 8:00 am) asked was, “are you ok and what can I do to help”. Their entire service team (front desk, mechanics and manager) got my car in ASAP even though they were swamped because of what I had just experienced. All the work required was pricy (not because of them, it was just the nature of the fix) and without asking, they greatly assisted with the financial options and guided my mechanically inclined hubby on what we could do to repair the damages at a minimal cost. They even let him do some repairs in the parking lot so we could get the car home safely. The service they provided to us and the kindness of their team literally put me to tears when my hubby told me what they were going to do for us. Many places would gouge and take advantage of the situation to line their pockets. They were empathetic and amazing people in general. Thank you (once again) for having our best interest and safety in mind through our experience. From a long and now, even more loyal customer:)

Bought my new civic here. Brought it in to get oil dilution so called fix. Honda Letter states that oil will be changed for free. They put only 1 liter on the bill and the oil level was not adjusted. I strongly believe that it wasn't done at all. I returned to Cobourg Honda service to question that and they adjusted the oil level then, no paperwork was done to record that oil was still creeping up after the Honda recall. You be the judge!
