Adam Eidelshtein leads people on and doesn't come off as a genuine person. My boyfriend purchased a Honda Civic just today. His deciding factor to purchase at Honda was that our friends have purchased a vehicle from here and had good experiences.

They were able to get free mats and trunk bags thrown in since they were making a big decision. However, Adam led my boyfriend on saying how he'd try his best to get us free accessories, however, after he signed, Adam refused to throw anything in as a courtesy gift. Adam's excuse was that buying at MSRP did not qualify for mats or even a water bottle.

Additionally, Adam, with over 22 years of experience, was terrible at juggling clients. He would leave us for 30 mins waiting while he tended to his more 'important' clients. We were hopeful and thought to give him a chance, but in the end, he led us on. Adam Eidelshtein is manipulative and discriminatory against new car buyers, therefore I do not recommend Adam or Richmond Honda.

I bought 4 cars from this dealer over the past 14 years. When I needed warranty work they told me I would have to wait a 5 days for a diagnosis. You can't drive a car that has a problem under warranty and you can't get a rental car until the problem is diagnosed and approved by the warranty company. Warranty was a waste. Sold the car and got a Subaru Legacy.

Three years later and the car was written off. The extended warranty had a refund provision. After waiting a month for the refund, I was told the refund went to pay the balance that I had financed. The car was not financed and I have a receipt showing it was paid in full. No one will tell me where the money went.

After waiting for 3 months for a replacement part on a brand new vehicle I had purchased in the middle of June 2019, it finally arrived. I was initially quoted mid July by the Service manager for the replacements part and its now September, at the time of ordering the part in I was informed by the Service Manager Dave that the whole process would take an hour.
Understanding that the required time is 1 hour, I booked the appointment. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the Advisor that this repair will take 3 hours.... if all runs smoothly. Upset and baffled, I was given the option to be provided a service loaner for the duration at a cost of $20. I agreed to the service loaner, and was placed in a filthy and neglected vehicle. Paying the $20 is not a problem, if the service vehicle were well-maintained but that is not the case here (see photos). This makes me question: what about the other $20 that were taken from previous customers to maintain these loaners.

I had also advised the Assistant manager Owen on the situation and filthiness of the vehicle and was given an hasty answer that he can't control the filthiness on these loaners. I'd advised your Service Team to stop smoking on the curb side and maybe clean up these loaner vehicles.

I would understand this situation, if I hadn't need to wait 3 months for the part. Furthermore, from the time I scheduled my appointment to the day of my appointment the service team had the opportunity to reach out to me and correctly quote me the time - I would've made my own arrangements. From wrong repair times to a filthy service loaner, this experience has only been upsetting. You would think that with such exceptional customer service received from the Sales Team, the Service Team may reciprocate at least a fraction of it. This day has not only shown me the type of customer care/service that I will receive if I continue my services with Richmond Honda Service Team, but also the type of care they put into their own vehicle.

I urge Honda owners to not bring vehicles here for services, as I've witnessed and experienced incompetency and carelessness in the work they do and provide for not only customers but for their own vehicles.

If you’re thinking of purchasing a Honda may I suggest visiting Richmond Honda located at the Richmond Auto Mall.

This is my second vehicle purchased at the same dealership in the last 4 years and both times I have had a pleasant experience. Prompt and thorough is what I get from the service department. A no nonsense sales advice without the sales pressure or the usual “I am trying to make my quota” deal.

Past experience taught me well and a good salesman will listen to you, take into account if you have a budget, and help you get the deal you need.

Yes, at Richmond Honda I found just the salesman (ask for Alex Yang). Remember, these guys are already selling a vehicle that has a good reputation (Honda).

If you don’t want “B.S.” while shopping for a car try Richmond Honda. I hate pushy salesmen, salesmen who treats women like they don’t know anything about cars, and haggling for the best price while staying within your budget. My sales guy at Richmond Honda was very transparent with me from the beginning.

Nope this review is not a result of a discount from the dealership although that would have been nice. It was just good old fashion customer service.

I had a very bad experience for purchasing a used Odyssey Honda in this dealer store, case as follows:

On September , 2013, I had purchased the captioned used vehicle (year 2010 Odyssey touring model) at Honda - Richmond Auto Mall with a purchase price of C$38,448.00 (all taxes and extended warranty are included). At the time of the purchase, Mr. Danny Lam was acting as the Sales Representative of Honda - Richmond Auto Mall. Before the purchase, I'm sure that Mr. Danny Lam was only mentioned to me that there weren't any serious damages and claims for the captioned vehicle. He also mentioned that the total amount of those damage claims was only approx. C$1,000. I remembered that a car proof report had been presented to me for checking definitely I didn't found any damage claims over C$2,000 from his report. If I did noticed that there were damaged claims for over C$2,000 (March 2013, the captioned vehicle is 3 years of age already), for sure I wouldn't go ahead for the purchase of the vehicle. It doesn't make any sense for purchasing a vehicle for approx. C$38,000, but with a damage claims history of over C$10,000. Also, the price for purchasing a new vehicle is around C$36,000 and plus GPS options should be around C$48,000, it still better than purchasing a car with over C$10,000 ICBC claims history.....
I don't think that anyone would process on such transaction if the car history are acknowledge to the buyer. This kind of dishonest customer service should be forbidden in the vehicle sales.
This huge amount of damage claims is only noticed by me, when I brought the vehicle to a car dealer trying to find out the existing market price. A vehicle history report searched from ICBC is presented to me by the dealer, and it is only by that time that all details of the claims history are disclosed. I am in great shock and I believe that I should file my complaint to your Department.
I had filed a complaint to Motor Vehicle Sales Authority of BC on 2014 and still is an unresolved issues.
The sales manager Mr. Ken Thai (General Sales Manager) who handle the case is strongly unfair and only protecting his staff but not the consumer.........
Be carefully, to approach with this kind of dishonest customer service dealer and sales representative.
There should be no rate on their service at all ...

I would like take this opportunity to announce to the public and let customer to use this case as a guideline for making an intelligent decision with your purchase.

Please make sure that the sales staff of this store to show you a copy of the ICBC Vehicle Claim History, Carproof that searches all across Canada, Lien Search, Service History, as well as any reconditioning that Rmd Honda had to perform BEFORE any customer makes decision to purchase a vehicle.

Found a used Honda Accord that I liked and made a call on a Saturday and was directed to Wayne Suzuki. Told him that I was interested and live in Kamloops and would make the the trip down with my trade in. Told no problem and I would call on Monday morning to confirm that I would be coming down. Call first thing Monday morning to make sure all is well and to make sure I come in at a good time on Tuesday to give Wayne notice. Confirmed the price of the car on Autotrader and Richmond Honda site and all is good. Wayne cant wait to meet me.

Tuesday morning, 9:15am, Wayne calls me and says the car sold Monday afternoon and they couldnt hold the car for me. No problem. A bit pissed as I'm 2 hours in my journey and could have let me know after the sale to save me time. Get the story of a kid puts a deposit on a new Accord but needs dad's approval before getting it. Dad doesn't want to spend that kind of money and opts to buy the car I want. Win some lose some. Wayne tries to sell me on another car but not interested.

Come to this evening, Tuesday nights, same day of my nice drive to Hope, look on both AT and Richmond Honda, Honda Accord, same one, same VIN #, is still for sale. Richmond Honda site, from $23875, up to $26,875, slashed to $25,875. An overall increase of $3000 in less that 8 hours. Autotrader report on pricing goes: June 11:$24,875, June 18:$24,375, June 20:$23,875.

I get that they don't care, but my time is my time, and my gas and my money to come down half way and get lied to. Work at a place with over 1200 employees, and I see over half of them due to the department I work in. Word of mouth is huge and if a dealership treats a couple of people well where I work, the salesmen's cards are posted all over the site and they definitely see an increase in sales. And well over half of my co-workers make $100,000+ a year. Big business loss!!!

RECOMMEND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RICHMOND HONDA!!!!
