Went in as warning lights popped on my 2018 Honda Pilot Touring. Greg from the Service dept was great in explaining what potentially happened and how it would be covered in the extended warranty. Awaiting the part that needs to be changed since it needed to be ordered in but I am definitely considering them for all my Honda related needs.
PS - They also addressed a recall that was issued for this model.

Tim in the Service Department absolutely saved our summer road trip. The day before we were supposed to leave, warning lights on our Pilot went off. I drove directly to Marv Jones on a busy Friday and Tim squeezed us in and made sure the issue was fixed. Picked up a nicely washed and cleaned car later that day and were off. It took 5 bloody days to send a bill of sale to buy out a leased Honda that was traded in to a Toyota dealership just a block away, which prevented my insurance from being canceled costing me $$$ until Marv Jones' business office finally got around to doing it after several email requests from the Toyota dealership (which they showed me) and 2 telephone calls from me 2 days in a row! Not likely to deal with Marv Jones Honda again as It should have been done in 1 day!

I have never had such a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE in my life. The staff, all great, but the SALES MANAGER, I literally do not have the words. He is the reason I changed my decision NOT to buy the car, a 2012, Red Honda Civic Coupe, which seemed like, according to him, he was doing me a favor or maybe selling for free. I wish someone cares to contact me to know what happened there (obviously for quality management, I am never going back), but maybe they do not because like the Sales Manager said, they are a 'BIG' dealership.

This review comes a little late, but better late than never. I LOVE MJ Honda! I purchased my Honda Civic here and have been bringing it for servicing over the last 5 years and I have ALWAYS received such phenomenal treatment. I am always a few minutes late, but I always get greeted with a smile and a 'no worries, it's good to see you!' I frequently bring enough work to do in their customer's lounge and all of MJ's employees acknowledge me and say 'hi' or briefly chat (these are people that I haven't ever interacted with before). It's nice to be acknowledged, especially with a smile :) The service manager is kind and follows up with e-mails to ensure my service went well. Again, the service staff at the front desk personalize every interaction and keep me updated on things about my car. What I REALLY appreciate is: they inform me of what my car may need, but they never force me to purchase a service and understand when I tell them when my purse strings a little tight. I love this caring attitude. Thanks MJ Honda - PS, the sales team is awesome too!

We recently bought a car from Marv Jones Honda and we were scared to go to a dealership because of old experiences where they tried to push us to buy what they wanted and not what we needed but we gave it a try and our experience at Marv Jones Honda was amazing, the best. Derek understood us and helped us find the car that we really needed, his positive and great personality made us feel relaxed and safed, because we knew our credit wasn't great but he made us feel like it was possible because they were going to help us and they did, then we met Jennifer and she helped us with all the financial and once again we get nervous and to our great surprise she also was so positive and great that helped us to relax and enjoy the moment, the same day we got our car
we needed with a very low interest, less that half of interest that other dealership offered us, we were and still so happy for our new car but more importantly with the beautiful and great experience we had with Derek and Jennifer.

My Honda Accord was stolen from my driveway, but with some first-class work from the RCMP, I got it back.
Unfortunately, it was in a "does not start" condition, leaving me in a vulnerable "does not know how much this is going to cost" condition.
Marv Jones Honda was short tow distance from the recovery spot, and boy am I glad I took it there.
Comfortable waiting conditions, first class diagnostic work (it was a complex after-market alarm rewiring problem) and yet the boys got me back on the road for under two-hundred dollars.
It is an early nineties model, and they could have taken advantage of me, yet they didn't.
I spent the afternoon at Marv Jones Honda on Monday, April 6, 2020; I'll be back!

Rolled my new car back into a poll while doing an oil change. I guess the techs they like to brag about didn't think to put my car in park, the emergency brake on or a block behind my tire. It's crazy that this can happen. I wouldn't even let Marv Jones Honda put air in my bike tires and I recommend everyone else does the same. Beyond horrible.

***Very Very BAD after sale service***

We bought a vehicle a month ago, and they said will have a second key for us soon. We tried to call the salesman few times a week. When we talked to him, he always said will check and call back. But not even once to call back or tell us know what is the status.
The windshield had a chip and we not seen it when we bought this vehicle, because it was at night & rain. The second day we called and went to the store showed two guys about the chip, the sales manager said will pass the message to the salesman and take care of it. It take more than two weeks to figure out the repair date. For sure we kept call him every few times a week, same thing never call back until we call him.

We arrived here and talked to the wonderful CSR who was very polite and straight forward. She talked to the service manager about the situation and he helped us right away as soon a he could. No problem was the answer and they got it in right away. They machined the rotors and did a free alignment for no charge and NO BS. I have called the location twice in the span of 4 hours to speak with the financial manager who at first was "busy" with a customer and then stepped out the second time. When you go in for a pre purchase inspection and then get it back almost 8 hours later saying they did a safety inspection that you never authorized and went and put parts on and charged you for parts that they broke in spots that you can't see without taking the car apart yourself. Seems pretty untrustworthy and snakey if you ask me. If a mechanic breaks something on my car and it has nothing to do with what I've asked to be done, you shouldn't be paying outta pocket for it when they broke it and they should be paying for it. All in all Marv Jones Honda is a joke and a great place to just hand money out to have your car toyed with. Never taking any vehicle I own there again.

Brought my 1991 Honda Civic SI to these guys that has 416000 kms on the original motor for a pre purchase inspection. The cars already purchased but a typical pre purchase inspection focus' on the main mechanics of the car. Engine, drivetrain, suspension, rad, transmission; all the in depth stuff to see if its even worth it long term. I had been having issues getting shops to take it because I know of some major issues like my thermostat doesn't work, my rad fan doesn't work, the engine light is on. It hates reverse and it makes sure you feel it, it also hates either 2nd or third and you can feel it on the upshift and the downshift. the bushings on my front control arms are taped. I booked an appointment at 830 in the morning and told them nothing other then i wanted a pre purchase inspection on the car. All I said was it has high kms and that the engine light is on. At first they said itd be done at 1030 but I already knew it would take longer. They had my car for 6 hours to do the inspection. In that 6 hours, my car got ran up 50 kms on the speedometer, which isnt a big deal but they mentioned NONE of the above, they also broke apart my rear brake shoe, and then followed to charge me for the parts and labour on THEIR mistake. They also did not perform a pre purchase inspection but a used car safety inspection. The report I was given after shows they didnt even look at anything important and honestly I doubt they even swapped any parts. Along the report it mentions my interior lights are satisfactory, but if they were; wouldnt they actually work?, rather then just being exposed wires? It also mentions it comes with oil change on the report but upon further questioning the tech said they never did that either. Like what did they even do with my car for 6 hours???? Basically I paid $429 for them just to look at my fluids, tires, battery, and lights for 6 hours and also get some invisible repairs that I never authorized doing with the car because of their mistakes. Marv jones Service is trash, get charged for their mistakes. Will never recommend. Do not go! Learn from my experience.

I have bought 2 vehicles here, referred friends who bought their vehicle here and have my Hondas fully serviced here. I used to buy my tires at a local competitor but decided to buy them here. I paid $1000 for the tires in the summer. I am in need of a repair and they are going to charge me. The competitor has never charged us for any repairs on any of our tires (so I thought this was a "given" for new tires) but actually, it is a service they offer to valued customers. I guess Marv Jones does not value our patronage. I will not longer return here for any future vehicle purchases or repairs.

The service was good. Efficient. Not great. They're so busy that you're just another customer. No value add. Nothing about the purchase made me feel special. In and Out.

They try REALLY hard to sell you on their services. Easily adds thousands of dollars to your overall purchase. They'll try and justify it 50 times before you're out the door. They'll tell you the regular warranty doesn't work. THEY LITERALLY TELL YOU THAT BASIC WARRANTY WILL BE REJECTED IF YOU HAVE TO USE IT...

Just feels like they're trying to drain every dollar possible out of you... typical dealership...

Would I go back? Yes, if they have something specifically that I want... I can get the same experience out of any Honda dealership. Consider this a neutral review. Not a memorable purchase, that's for sure...

But, it wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for my friend Lester Wong (Parts Manager), who kept his ears open for this great lead as he was the one who really helped brokered the sales deal for me. I have been fortunate enough to be blessed by good people who are looking out for me.

We can't say enough about how amazing our experience was with Michele at Honda in Maple Ridge. We were greeted by Michele and she made us feel at ease and not at all pressured to make a purchase. She talked to us but more importantly listened to what we were looking for. One of the best things she did was to go along with us on our test drive, as she was able to tell us as we were driving all the features the car had, how to use them, or not and we could ask all the questions we wanted while they were still fresh in our minds. We did go to a few other dealerships after our test drive but we didn't have the same experience. Not only price, but MICHELE, is what made us come back and buy our new HONDA CIVIC, which we are so very happy with. We were able to add a few features to our car and add a couple of protection packages that gave us peace of mind.
