We love Honda vehicles and that's why we drove from out of town to lease a vehicle. Our experience with the product has been fantastic but the service we received while recently trying to buy out our lease was very unprofessional. Financing dept was unorganized and overal service wasn't great. Communication within dealership and various depts was poor. Shoudn't take over 3 hours to buy out lease.

I had a good experience initially buying my truck here. The tailgate had a large dent and it was agreed that a replacement tailgate would be provided for me. I was also told it would have some imperfections fixed at a body shop.

One month later I received the replacement tailgate from glacier. It had a small dent and some of the paint was bubbling and peeling off from a patch of rust.

I asked for it to be sent back to the body shop, which the dealer agreed. A few days later I received the tailgate back again, the dent wasn't fixed and the rust was mostly fixed, but there are still a few spots that they missed.

I have to pay for the further needed repairs on my "new" tailgate, on top of the initial $600 I paid for the tailgate itself.

Super disappointed in how Glacier Honda handled this, I would recommend shopping elsewhere.

Not so accommodating when I asked someone can listen (their mechanic) to my 2009 honda pilot engine noise in the video before I decide to bring it to their shop as it’s not drivable. The lady at the front said, all their mechanics are on job. Sad that they can’t spare 2 or 3 minutes of their time.

Very disappointed with their sales team (mechanic and parts team are awesome!!). The sales team tried to lie that a vehicle was not a rebuild but the Carfax said otherwise. When we looked at a different vehicle on the lot it had one crack headlight and one condensation headlight, they were only willing to change one but not the other prior to sale.
During our visit (husband and I) the sales team focused on my husband and disregarded most of my questions even though I was the one buying the car.

I was very clear that I was buying a car within 3 days, however the sales team still emailed my husband instead of me. My husband forwarded me the email so I could follow-up. The forwarded emails seemed generated and non-personal. When I followed up, responses were informative but had a “take it or leave it” attitude.

I decided to take our sale to another dealership who gave us everything we asked for and who treated me (females) like a capable car buyer.

Amazing staff. I would give 10 stars out of 5. We recently suffered a $12,000.00 repair bill from a blown motor. The issue was the car itself and not anything we did or didn't do. Glacier Honda backed us up with Honda Canada and we came to an absolute workable solution. Honda stands behind their customers and their policies. I would recommend them to everyone. Be very careful with this dealership I bought a s2000 from them I was in newfoundland and bought the car sight unseen trusting the dealership to be honest so the first issue I was told one minor accident when I received the car the front and rear bumper vins were missing I was told all Vins in place also one side of car was repainted with awful over spray over wheels splash guards and so on my next issue when I received the car was damaged don't know if it was done during Shipping or was there and I know exactly what happened who ever loaded it on the train or truck she slipped off ramps denting the body below the driver door and also rear bumper quarter panel had damage from hitting truck or train now if it happened during Shipping not the dealership fault here's where they go wrong on this one I contacted the dealer and they told me to call Shipping as they say it wasn't there so I call the shipping and they say I can't put a claim in due too the shipping received and drop off were at honda dealership so my name wasn't in the Shipping they told me I had to get the dealership to put the claim in as they are the one on the pick up and drop off so I called the dealership they tell me that I'm harassing they and not to call anyone and bother there staff offered my a good will of 500 when I first contacted they and I didn't even receive that I was taken for a ride by them worst experience I've ever come across very dishonest will lie and con you to the max I can't support and back up this claim with photos recipts and text messages from Alex who wasn't very smart to text me all the lies which gives me proof and cab prove this claim I've never have written a bad review over any company in my life I just don't want this happening to anyone else this was a 40k car that I was lied about the condition of the car holding info on its pass accidents and then not honoring my insurance claim due to damage from Shipping BE VERY AWARE AND RUN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP IM HONESTLY SHOCKED AND STRESSED AND OUT MONEY ON A DREAM CAR IT TOOK ME 25 YEARS TO SAVE UP AND GET ONLY TO BE ROBBED WITH A PEN BY THIS SHADY VERY SNEAKY DEALERSHIP to all the honest dealerships I applaud your dedication whish is the total opposite of GLACIER HONDA

these people are complete thieves. they told me that my rear right caliper that was dragging was caused by me riding the brakes. my car was a 2016 crv, it was 2017 . i never returned to the dealership. and never will, my brother bought a 2019 ridgeline. 2 months ago he purchased a 4 year warrenty, with the promise of a full refund as long as he didnt use it . he sold his car yesterday and they scammed him for the 4000$. do not trust these people they are complete weasels!!. i have owned 6 new cars since 2001 and castlegar honda has been the worst dealership i have dealt with, do not waste your hard earned money with them.worst service ive ever had complete scammers, rude just horrible. love hondas would almost buy american just to not deal with these losers. lol i wont ill just goto an out of town dealership, hope no one has the same experience we both have had.

I pulled into a parking space at Glacier Honda, where a very courteous Sales Manager, Martin Death invited us into his showroom for refreshments while an excellent young technician installed the spare for me. As a result of this unexpected service, I am writing this unsolicited testimonial in support of Martin and your whole organization which coordinated to fulfill my needs.
I was struck by the generosity of spirit which my two friends and I were offered, with no expectation of an immediate car sale; in fact we were out-of-town strangers, very much in need of help (I was in dress cloths; the parking lot where I landed was cold and wet; I had never changed a tire on this car, nor done so on a previous one in over ten years). Take away: When you buy a used car here, have it thoroughly checked by another garage or mechanic before purchase!

My experience has been a bit of a mixed bag. Sales staff was super friendly when we bought our car in 2019. But the car has been nothing but trouble since then. All kinds of repairs in 2019 (some done hastily by Glacier H), over 7000 CAD in repairs in 2020, and we just got the bill for the stuff that has to happen in 2021, total: over 6000 CAD (my heart sank when I got that bill). We bought the car for 8500 CAD so we'll be well over the actual cost of the car in repairs in 2 years time.

I replied to an email from the new owner and told him about last year, not a single word back. I will not be shopping here and learned a valuable lessons: have your car checked by a mechanic before purchase.

As I said nice staff, but I'd rather have a bad salesman and a great car than the other way around.

I should have been suspicious when they could fit me in for an appointment the next day.
At $129 an hour plus hidden charges charges im not sure you get what you pay for.

On the positive, I did get an appointment the next day.
They put me in touch with Honda Canada and the parts for my airbag system will most likely be free... Well 2 hours of shop time so probably 275 bucks.
And they did a more through diagnostic than my local mechanic.

I did not have a pleasant experience at all. We live almost 2 hours away and we’re told the vehicle we had put a deposit on couldn’t be picked up almost a week later. We were told they could have a remote starter installed and then we were told they didn’t have the tools to make it work. So now we had to make another appointment for the remote starter installed. We felt we were misled from our first phone call telling us they had a vehicle we were looking for only to find out there had already been a deposit put on the vehicle. We finally told them to take the car and sell it to someone else. I was done!!

I was shocked at the very poor treatment from Glacier Honda, they told me it would take THREE weeks to get a part need for my CRV. I sent emails and called after three weeks and was cut-off, told they would call back, they never did. Almost six week and they made no effort to email or call me. Talk about customer service! the reality is not always what they claim. Shame upon them.

We made an appointment to have this fixed and just get a routine check up on the car done while it was in. Got a call saying they needed to do the rear breaks too but parts aren’t in so they would keep the car till Monday, this was a Friday. Okay no big deal. Wife picks up car, billed over $1000 and when she goes to drive home the dragging from skid plate is still there. Oh and they never fixed the under carriage, it would still need to be another $300 to get done what the car was originally brought in for. Kind of long winded but not impressed with them at all in parts and service. Definitely won’t be bringing my car back there.

the folks in the service dept were exceptional. i was on a roadtrip in the area and had an ignition problem with my crv and they helped me out even though they did not make a dime off the exchange. they listened to my problem, made several recommendations and in the end i was helped out by a local locksmith (glacier lock and key) and the dealership was just happy that it worked out for me. restored my faith in dealerships. if i lived in the area this would be my go to for service without question. wish i could remember the young woman’s name that helped me, outstanding service! thank you again! wes from calgary.
