I found an excellent car that I wanted. Thought the deal was going well.
My biweekly payments were over $50 more than initially quoted. I said “no deal” and requested my deposit back.
Instead, I was trapped in a finance associates office and berated for not knowing the deal before I came. Fair enough, but I was told “your payment may go up a little”. Does $50 biweekly seem like a little?
Anyway, I finally managed to escape with my deposit. They tried every slimy sales tactic to make me feel bad or that I was being unreasonable.
Don’t go here! I ended getting an excellent deal at Toyota Northwest!
I have been a customer at Sherwood Honda for a number of years now and they're customer service is outstanding. On the sales side Todd and Merv are both exceptional people and work tirelessly to ensure you are 100% satisfied. I couldn't recommend their services enough. On the service side, I couldn't be more impressed with their commitment to customer service. Carolyn, Jon, Aurora have been amazing on every single occasion, providing me with incredible customer care. They do an incredible job of making sure i'm taken care of. The technicians that work in the background do an outstanding job and have always provided detailed updates, additional information and technical explanations when asked. Despite how busy they are, they always time to to ensure the customer fully understands what is going on. I would highly recommend checking them out as the entire team at Sherwood Honda, both sales and service do a really amazing job!
We purchased a used van from Sherwood Honda in March 2019. Initially we were super pleased with the service we received. We were given a work order on all the work they had done on our vehicle prior to us purchasing it. This work order included new brakes. We had every intention of returning to Sherwood Honda as repeat customers, because the service seemed that good. Shortly after purchasing our van we noticed a squeak with the brakes. We had a 90 day warranty on the vehicle and brought it in within a month of purchase. We were told that the brakes were fine and that Dodge brakes sometimes made noises, so they applied some anti squeak solution to help with the noise. By November 2019 our brakes were sounding worse and starting to make a crunching noise. We decided to bring our vehicle into a mechanic that we trusted. Our front brakes were metal on metal, and the rear brakes were not far off. We needed to redo the calipers as well, and the total repair was over $2000. We approached the dealership, provided them with our concerns, receipt of our bill, as well as photos of the brakes. They refused to compensate us, and told us it was our fault because we did not bring our vehicle back to them. Even though we initially did, and they told us everything was good. We had to chase them down, as they never called when they said they would, did not return phone calls, and offered no apology or solution. We feel like this dealership lied to us and totally ripped us off. We will never buy another vehicle from them, nor recommend them. Very disappointed.

All the details they cover in their inspection of a vehicle is top notch. We know we can always rely on a true report and profile of our vehicle's condition. We're always told when something with the vehicle needs updated, or recommendations are given that will preserve the life of our 2008 Honda. We are convinced it wouldn't be running as smooth as it has, with no repairs that have been really outstanding for these past eleven years. The dealership, and their product should be considered "the best vehicle as far as performance in Canada". The staff makes sure that out vehicle gets the best of care. We've always had great customer service from Sherwood Honda, whether it was in the Service Dept., Sales, Finance, or just the front receptionist. Okay where to start with the Jess Simon's sales person. I find a 4runner for sale listed at 38,000 . I find out it was in a collision with rebuild status. The ad says 3800$ for claim. That what was paid out to other people or property not the 4runner. He reiterated this in all contact with me. I now have found out the vehicle was a total loss at $31000 salvage rebuild. He never said this and did everything to avoid me finding this out. This morning I go look and see that they have upped the price by 3k. This guy is a shyster. They will be attempting to pawn this off on an unsuspecting person. Very unprofessional and very manipulative.
Excellent. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful! The receptionist at the main entrance was very friendly, funny and easy to talk to. She was professional but unique, ton of personality. She gave us a big smile and hello when we walked in. We had service done today and Cyndi was great. Informative and kept us in the loop during the process. We bought our vehicle from the dealership and the process was smooth and not pressured. Very impressed with this dealership and love that it’s family owned and orientated. do NOT bring your vehicle here!!! Brought my car in for an airbag recall and two other light issues that one of wich was diagnosed and wasn't charged for and then the other I was????????? Made no sense to charge a customer unless a problem is fixed! Also I was offered a complimentary car wash that they didn't do so overall this place is a joke!!!!! And dealerships wonder why people don't bring there cars there!!!!!!! F

I am a first time buyer in a dealership, Jess and Keneel was excellent to deal with. I am very happy I got my car from Sherwood Honda, and from the way they handle customers I had the impression Sherwood Honda has very respectable standards.
Unfortunately, I got my car serviced for the first time since I bought it, and I can’t help but feel disappointed with the experience. I was told the service time will take an hour and half, so my mom and I decided to go have breakfast. And was suggested that there is a nearby restaurant. So, great we’ll do that. Being that this is my first time experience, I RELIED on their shuttle service. Was told that to just text my service advisor to get picked up by the shuttle service once my vehicle is ready. Understood and that’s what I did, after a few text, they told me shuttle service coordinator is notified and someone will give me a call shortly. Took their word for it and WAITED. I understood that there will be waiting involved, but I expected at least to be updated. Waited for a call half hour more, and I messaged back for an update. Finally got picked up by the shuttle service after an hour. It didn’t matter to me that I had to WAIT, I expected that. It was the matter when I voiced a concern to the service reception that I was told that next time to contact them directly to get picked up, and that they only had 3 shuttle services and being that our location is near, some people would just WALK BACK. I’m taken aback and I wondered if that’s what you tell to ALL your customers? First of all, for your information, there is a reason why YOUR customers rely on your service. I for one, have a KNEE INJURY, and prefer not to walk 15-20 minutes in an unfamiliar area. Regardless of any reason, I depended on your service, and I felt disregarded that way and killed the experience for me. I was handed the keys without knowing whatsoever where to find my vehicle. I don’t expect a five star service, but a simple communication and direction to make your customer’s experience smooth and pleasant would make SUCH A DIFFERENCE. My service advisor and sales supervisor did their best to make the experience pleasant by listening to my concern. So thank you for that. Just coming from your novice customer who relies on your service, it’s the beginning and end of the experience makes or breaks it especially for us first timers. Bottomline is my first experience getting my car serviced, I had higher expectations with Sherwood Honda Service, still happy with my car tho and hoped that this can be utilized to make future first time buyers’ experiences better.
They should make it more clear that the whole store isn't open Sundays. Live close to 2 hours away and stopped in for a part that failed and I couldn't even get it because the parts dept wasn't open. Now I will have to wait even longer or get it shipped to me. Not that big of a deal but it's a piece that I replaced not too long ago.
Austen and the rest of the team were pleasant to deal with when getting my 76 year old mom a new vehicle. Our decision to purchase here was made after the first visit and test drive where Austen drove the vehicle for the first little bit to show us all of the features that it had. Between that and the warm reception show by everyone there we were impressed.

I am an out of town customer and visited Merve and the service department at Sherwood Honda today for some servicing on my vehicle. I received the best service and not to mention they had the cutest dog on site! I mentioned how I lost my last dog and Merve said they sponsor the SPCA charity annually and are keeping their eyes and ears open to sponsor another dog. I'm reviewing my recent new car buying experience, about two weeks ago. The car lot outside was easily walkable and all of the vehicles were well maintained. The showroom was bright and spacious, reflecting good design and use of windows. On entering, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable in general. I had Aurora as my salesperson, which was great because as a younger person she understood my priorities for a vehicle with respect to fuel economy, lifestyle, and storage. During the test drive, she took time to explain in the right amount of detail (adequate, but not overly technical) the features of the two vehicles I was considering. She was very patient and very open to helping me find the right price for my purchase. Her communication was excellent and she was flexible with different methods of contact. There was no point at which I ever felt pressured. The managerial staff were also friendly and professional. I haven't had experience with their parts/servicing yet, but it was definitely the right move to go from my old Honda to my new one with Sherwood Honda.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sherwood Honda. My first time there, I walked in the doors 5 minutes before closing expecting to be told to "come back tomorrow". Instead, I was welcomed warmly & treated as if I was the most important customer they have ever had. They definitely lived up to their excellent reputation and I would encourage everyone to a least visit this location before making any purchase on a Used vehicle, probably New to but I could only dream so far. My sales person , could not have been more knowledgeable, helpful, patient and professional with never any pressure to purchase, I made my own decision. What a nice change to have an honest straight forward manager his name was Quin to go through all the options that we had. It is worth mentioning that all of the final inspections were thoroughly and carefully adhered too, the car proof which we wanted to see was gone over with Quin in full detail, which we liked as a consumer. The vehicle was released to me in better condition than I could have possibly thought , they all took extra time and effort with all the transaction. I Sher Wood high recommend this fine dealership in Sherwood Park and believe that it is in a class by it self when it comes to looking after customers especially the Used Vehicles department so far, as we have not had to take it back for service, but THANK you very much for looking after us we can now relax.
