I didn’t recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a new car even used
I went to this dealership more than 1 month ago to finance a car. I signed an offer with them as they beat the deal that i got from Alberta Honda but I got rejected for 2 reasons as they said to me ( proof of income - co-signer).
From a week ago I went to Wheaton honda with the pay stubs and a co-signer to take the same deal and I signed all documents however they hit my credit score and they told me that Honda approved my finance with a interest rate 5.28% instead of 2.99% that we deal about it because i am a newly employed and my co-signer has negative equity.
I went after 1 day to Alberta Honda and got approved with 2.99 % interest rate with the same pay stubs and same co-signer .
Then if you are sure that you will not give me the offer that we deal about it , WHY you wasted my time and hit my credit score !!!!!!!!!!!!
And how I could be rejected from your dealership and got approved the next day with the same proof of income and co-signer

Stay away from this dealership. They were very unhelpful, and when I refused the deal they said was the best they could do, the sales manager became rude and almost verbally abusive. The dealership I ended up going through found me an interest rate 9% lower than what Wheaton Honda said was the best I was going to get. Even during the negotiation process, the sales team could not be bothered to try and help me figure out what would be best for me. Glad I missed that bullet of having to deal with them!!

Brought my car here after getting a diagnosis from the shop foreman at Alberta Honda, even though he didn't look at my car at all. Brought it here and the confirmed i had a knock in my engine at cold start, but we're very honest and said that the valve set that Alberta Honda recommended wouldn't fix the knock, and that the valve noise was common in these engines as they age. Very friendly, and honest! Which is refreshing nowadays. Thanks guys

Buying the right car can be a painful process...Sales people...you know what I mean. They are who they are and there ain't no getting around that. Wheaton Honda was a pretty good experience. The sales staff was polite and comical. You just have to know what you want and how much you are willing to spend before you go. Once we dickered on price the rest was quite pleasant. They have a really nice approach to signing the car over. They explained everything about the car and answered any questions we had. The car was prepped and the gas tank was filled. Our final transaction was extended warranties but we decided it wasn't worth it. Is was reimbursable partially at the end of the term . But hey, we bought a honda so why would we need extended warranty. Thanks for restoring my faith in car sales.

They are your standard issue dealership. If you get quotes and pin them down and avoid all the usual shady extras all dealers try to push on you, then you can get a good price out of them. The more regular employees I met there have been nice and friendly. If you get a car through them and maintain it with them, then you get free oil changes which is nice. This is a Great dealership. I got my Honda Accord from here two years ago. They offered me the lowest price in all Honda dealership of Edmonton. They even offered me a free car rental service after i told them i need vehicle right away. Even it happened after i signed bill of sales. They are really honest not like Alberta Honda who added extra almost thousand dollars after final deal made( even i told them at beginning my offer is all in price), then told me I have to pay these amount no matter which dealership I went to. Well, at least not in here. Three months after I purchased my Accord, I accidentally had flat tire on my vehicle, then I went to their shop to fix it. They charged me nothing, and they told me I have 6 months tire warranty on it which I didn't remember at all. They will follow everything on the paper or verbal positively before you ask

I don't usually take the time to right reviews, but thought this service deserved some positive feedback.
We purchased a vehicle from this dealership a year ago, and recently went in for our first service appointment. Nothing major- oil change and tire rotation.
My experience with service at car dealerships has been that you go in for one thing, but a bunch of other things "happen" to come up and you end up spending an arm and a leg. Alternatively, the reps communicate poorly and I leave with a bad taste in my mouth.
At Wheaton Honda, I was pleasantly surprised! When dropping off the vehicle, I was in and out within 10 minutes. That included being greeted nicely by the service rep, updating our contact information, reviewing the work to be done, and picking up a service loaner. At other dealerships, I've had to wait a long time for my appointment, dealt with rude service reps, they've forgot about the loaner, or they try and up-sell you on the service required.
The vehicle was ready hours before the scheduled pick-up time. When I came back, the service reception was polite in answering my questions, and quickly got my account in order. The vehicle was freshly washed, and I was happy to see personalized notes requesting feedback on both my service statement, and an envelope left in the car. It shows that they really care about the job they're doing, which can't be said about all dealerships. Thanks Wheaton Honda! We'll be back.

Just dropped my ’17 Civic Sedan today. AC blowing hot air. Received a call from services manager now saying that they can’t be sure that is a warranty covered problem or not. Freon discharge and recharge are covered only when a warranty covered part have a manufacturing defect.

All over the internet, there’s dozens of complains about the condenser / compressor being replaced under warranty due to a clear manufacturing defect on this part. When this defect is found, discharge and recharge is covered as well.

However, despite the fact that they can’t guarantee what was the cause of the Freon leak, they are still charging me for the discharge and recharge, but at the same time, can’t tell me is its due to a manufacturing defect just yet, and that I have to wait for a couple of weeks, and CAN’T GUARANTEE that I would be reimbursed in the future if that’s the case.

Why do I need to pay upfront for a service that is covered under warranty in certain occasions if the technicians can’t rule out if it’s covered or not just yet? I don’t mind paying, but I wanted to have the guarantee that if it’s found that it’s a warranty covered problem, that I would be reimbursed right away without any problems.

A huge thank you to Ravi and Aaron in the used lot! It was my first time searching for a vehicle from a dealership and after visiting a few different ones, I was quickly overwhelmed - until I went to Wheaton Used! I ended up purchasing a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and have been in love! Everything was super easy and straight forward - including the financing piece. The only issue I experienced was shortly after taking it home I realized there was no hot air blowing from the passenger side vents. A pretty common issue with this model. I phoned the dealership and Aaron got me in right away, set me up with a loaner and had my vehicle repaired within two days at no additional cost to me. This was five months ago and I have no zero issues with anything since. They really go above and beyond here, so if you're in the market - check these guys out!

I have been getting services here since I purchased my van in 2011.

I go to the dealership for every oil change where they supply me with coffee and my kids with donuts, hot coco, and lollipops. Usually by the time I am done my coffee my oil change is done and I can get on with my day.

I am happy with the staff as there has been very little turnover. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Here is an example: in 2016 my van broke down. The dealership had no loaner vehicles as they have to be booked in advance. The service manager set me up in their courtesy vehicle. He didn't have to. Went the extra mile. I will always remember this and appreciate it.

I am very happy with the relationship I have developed over the last 8 years and will continue using this service in the future!

I brought my car in for a recall item and they provided me a loaner car so I could keep moving. It was quick to get the car in and get on my way. They checked a few things and I ended up having them change the oil, my wiper blades and I found the costs to be reasonable (which is important to me). They also figured out how to have the door-locks open when I put the car in park; I could not get it to work with the instructions in the manual and lord knows I tried. They did not charge me for this and I'm sure it was easy for them, but I really appreciated it working as advertised.

Went to look at New cars. When we told the sales guy we put 50,000km a year on our car, he took us to the used lot and said it didn't make sense to buy new and that they had some loaners that could be had with the depreciation hit already taken. Respect for that.

Steer clear of this Honda Dealership. They are not forthright in their dealings, and make the negotiating experience truly infuriating. With the way I was treated I would expect them to be underhanded if not outright misleading and dishonest, and I'll explain why below...

Here is my experience with them.

We just moved up from Texas and are shopping for an all wheel drive vehicle for the Canadian winters. We let them know up front what we were shopping for and what our time frame was and that we have all summer to work with. Long story short, we test drove a lot of vehicles and narrowed down our choices to the Subaru Forester, Chevy Equinox, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Honda CRV. At this point we contacted all the dealers again to start working out a "best price" deal from each, so we could compare the costs to our driving experience and research.

Here is where the problems with these guys started to happen. We had already asked their sales person for the MSRP on the CRV, and confirmed it on the Honda website, however when we let them know we were starting to deal, they simply gave us the MSRP again. I had forgotten to add in that we wanted the remote start option as well, and needed a price, so I emailed them asking for both the price of the remote start and a break down of their pricing for dealer finance, lease and cash. After clarification of which style remote start we wanted, they sent back the cost of the option with the MSRP again!

I emailed them back spelling out exactly what I was looking for so there could be no misunderstanding at all, and let them know that their price on the CRV was by far the highest of the choices we are looking at, and broke down roughly the deals we were getting from other dealers to make it crystal clear that they needed to sharpen their pencil to move forward.

I got an email back claiming that they "know they are not the highest price" and going off on a tangent that the Honda has the best resale value etc (even though the facts show the Subaru as the best resale value in that segment).... still with no price! I was pretty ticked that they implied that they were not the highest price and that I was not dealing in good faith or being honest with them... IT IS THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR THAT SUGGESTS THEY ARE PROJECTING ON TO ME, THE WAY THEY THEMSELVES BEHAVE.

So, I attached the actual email offer I got from Hyundai (which is exactly what I said it was), and referred them to my sales guys in both Subaru and Chevrolet to confirm the verbal and paper offers they gave me.

I asked AGAIN for a price other than their MSRP.

No reply. Just nothing.

It got me thinking, why on earth am I dealing with these people? I called Red Deer Honda, and they had a solid package back to me in an hour.

I had driven from Camrose to Edmonton twice to see Honda, and been going around and around with them for three weeks and STILL did not have a price, other than exact one I could already find on their website.

I emailed Wheaton and told them not to bother, which I'm sure was a relief, as apparently they do not want to talk price until they get you behind closed doors and work you over the coals, which clearly has been done to other customers that have left negative reviews here.

I'm glad I did not get into a deal with Wheaton Honda, as clearly they do not deal in good faith, and if that's the case, I, nor anyone else will ever matter to them as a person or a customer, because good faith is essential for a positive business relationship.

What is truly ironic, is that just down the street at Chevy we have had our best experience with a dealership ever. The people there have been fantastic and have actually made us feel genuinely important to them.

We still have not purchased yet, but I'll try to remember to update this review after everything is all said and done.

He was neither pushy or overbearing, and when it came to sitting down to sign the contract, he was very thorough in explaining every part in the document. Great service and Evans was very kind and helpful. He answered all our questions and was knowledgeable of the vehicles we saw. As with any car purchase, haggling over the price was stressful and I did not like the "hidden fees" added on after we reached a deal. For example, the block heater. I was told that looking at prices on-line would be higher as they charge for block heaters. When building our vehicle on-line, I was told to NOT add the block heater as this is a standard item for every vehicle. At the end, the cost was added on. Same with wheel locks. I will know better next time!
