RUN AWAY FROM THEM .. Terrible service, incompetent people, they inspected my car I got from them and gave it green light to be sold at a big $ then in less than 5k breaks failed, charged me $1200 to fix, lasted for less than a week then my cruise stopped working, took it back for a week and they didn't fix it, over and above the screwed up my car's computer system, every thing was falling apart and charged me another $300 for blower fan. took my vehicle to another dealership where they fixed it (had to pay almost $1000 to redo the service) finally and gave me a report of the shitty service took place at Honda, GM took my number and promised to call me but he never did. just another liar .. my mechanic even told me they don't only abuse their customers but also abuse and harass their employees and have troubles in court. they are a disgrace in the auto business. a complaint will be submitted to AMVIC with all supporting documents.

From my experience with those guys ,Worst customer service this Honda dealer
I have Honda Oddessey minivan.
In Jan 2018 I sent my van to Alberta Honda for service.
The service agent wrote the van problems which they were
Van right sliding is not working.
I need to install remote starter.
Ithe van battery drains after 24 hours although battery is good.
After few hours the service agent phoned me to tell there are other issues that need to be fixed.
I informed her to fix them beside my 3 issues.
After I came to pick up the van and pay the bills( about $4500.

I tried the van for few months but I found The 2 main problems weren’t fixed( the remote started that costed me more than $700 is not working and still the van’s battery goes down after 24 hours.
I returned the van to Alberta Honda and the service guy said we can fix them no worry.
They charged about $2000.
I took the van but the remote starter again is hardly respond and the battery goes down also after 24 hours.
On May15/19 I returned the van to Alberta Honda for the same concern.
Van is not started after 24 hours and remote starter hardly respond.
They issued me that they will fix it and in the same time they ask me to fix other issues in the van and I say okay just fix the main issues and fix your suggested advise.
I paid about $2000, 10 days later I returned the van because the battery goes down after 24 hours and I always need to phone AMA for service to boost the battery .
AMA always check the battery and they says the battery is good.
I returned the van to Alberta Honda and the service agent his name Brian said just you need new battery and every thing will be ok .
I paid for the new battery about $150 and they disposed the van battery.
In December 2019, I took the van back to Honda dealer and I informed them I need my van to start in the morning because I requested AMA service more than 20 times.

Absolutely the worst.( my car got vandalized inside their parking lot and guess what? It’s my responsibility!!!
Incompetent and the only thing they are good at is squeezing the last penny out of your pocket.
I brought my van because it won’t start ( which I bring many many times before and they were not able to fix) . The battery went down there and even the remote key won’t work. So melisa call me to approve a payment of $70 to open the car door!!???
So I said no this is part of the problem I have to deal with almost on daily bases which You’ve never been able to fix since 2018.
A couple of days later they calling me to tell me that my van was vandalized while inside their parking area and the catalytic converters were stolen and I should call my insurance to take care of it.
To make a long story short am responsible for $1200 to fix the vandalism (500 deductible and 700 for depreciation value of the stolen parts).
And my car is not even start yet.
I took my car and will never ever be back there
I’ll never buy a Honda again
I’ll never recommend a Honda or this dealership to any body.

I purchase a used honda odessey from that delarship couple weeks ago and just day or two after i sign documents i called them and ask them to cancell the deal. Patrick the sales manager was very rude with me over the phone and pushed me to come and pickup the car. I decide to talk with my saleperson named Mich and came to speak with him in person. When i came there Patrick came to speake with me and i feld terible the way that he was behavor.... he was sitting and lauthing in my face by saying "tell me the true why you want to cancell that deal". I told him that i dont want this van cause i want to fix my old one.... then he left and i continiu to speake with Mich. They was thinking what to do and than Mich came to me and told me that " we defenetly can do something" and start to sugest me other cars... i told him that i am not interest of other cars and he told me thait its ok you can go but the deposit of 500 bucks will stay with us and i sad thats ok fair anoth and i left..... right after that i purchase in sherwood honda a new car while i know that my deal with alberta honda was cancell and after 5 days that i driving a new car they called me to come pickup their used car that soposed to be cancelled. I was totally in shock when they told me that, and i've got letter from the bank that saying that my payment will start within couple days..... i came to speake with a general meneger foxford couple times and tald him that Mich promise to cancell that deal but seems that the are hungry for money and they are not humman..... i was fired from my job 3 days ago thanks to alberta honda couse i was in stress and couldnt go to my work!!! Now i am stuck with two lones and without my job!!! Stay away from alberta honda!!!!!

I have been going to Alberta Honda for quite some time. My wife bought her Honda CR-V from the same showroom. Things were pretty different back then. Just recently took my civic for the oil change. Faisal did all the initial paperwork. Really impressed with his knowledge and customer service. However, after the oil change I noticed a strange noise coming from the vent on the right side. Went there the next morning, addressed my issue and the tech found out it is the blower motor creating the noise. The Service Manager Brian was extremely professionally and generous enough to give me a huge discount on the labour. I was still not satisfied because the noise was not there when I took it for the oil change, however I was explained that it does make noise when the part start to wear off after few years which makes sense.I am throughly impressed by the staff and especially the Customer Service Manager Lacey. She’s very knowledgeable and has excellent customer service skills.She’s the best!! All in all I am very impressed with the staff. Very trust worthy place to take your car. I will definitely bring my car next time and would recommend my family and friends to Alberta Honda and their Service Department.

My friends took their Honda odyssey for repair for battery issue. They said there is a problem with cables,so they replaced it. After 1 week they had same issue, this time they mention battery is gone. So they replaced with new one. After 1 month battery dead again in summer time. Finally They had the same issue repeatedly for 2 months. Finally they spoke to manager to fix the issue and left the car there to fix it. One person called by saying door are not opening, so we have to charge money for that ( with the original keys provided by the Honda) , another person called and saying oh some one stole catalytic converter from ( while parked at the store). Finally they did not fix the car at all and my friend took the car to another Honda dealer to fix the problem. I saw the difficulties my friend faced with them. I am so lucky that i never had to deal with this dealership. I wish i wont even give 1 star if possible

Now, time for my story:

I recently had some car troubles and was in need of a new vehicle. I asked around and was referred by a friend of mine to Mitch. Initially I was hesitant about going through a dealership for a used car (my previous experience left me feeling manipulated and practically hustled) but after sitting down with Mitch and telling him what I was in the market for, he was able to find a car that matched what I was looking for and worked out a fantastic deal for me! Two days later, I was in my brand new (used) car and driving off. That's when the curve ball was thrown my way, in the form of a blown out passenger speaker. Naturally, I was really upset and messaged Mitch immediately. Part of my was thinking that the dealership would try and shirk the responsibility and have me pay for the repair, but boy was I wrong. They had me back in the service department as soon as they found the part, had it installed and back to me within the SAME DAY! absolutely incredible! I could not be happier!

Beware of their service. Booked an oil change service that includes multi-point inspection which they said included in the service which to my understanding is no additional cost. But they charged me $100 for checkup. I asked for the multi-point inspection deal because of some vibration when A/C is engaged. They came back with a huge list of things to be repaired with my vehicle which I was very suspicious because aside from a very little vibration, I never had problems with the car. The total cost of the issues they listed hover more than $3000 including the A/C which they said was not functioning. I am absolutely sure that the A/C was working. The reason why there was some vibrations when the A/C engaged but they insisted that they cannot check the vibration because A/C not working. To make this long story short, I suspects they screwed up the A/C. Indeed, when I get my vehicle after the service, the A/C was not working anymore. Plus, all the things they listed to be repaired were all not true. I went to another shop to confirm Honda's findings, nothing is true. The A/C, which they said has no refrigerant, turned out that it's just a relay, which I am really suspecting they just screwed up. So beware when you go there for checkup. You will never know what they'll do to your vehicle. They are not honest. They will list many defects that are not true.

I absolutely do not recommend coming here for service on your vehicle. I had some concerning dashboard lights come on so I took my car in to get it looked at. The car is new and still covered under warranty. They confirmed their diagnostic showed the lights had come on, but they determined nothing about what was wrong with my vehicle, couldn't tell me what caused the issue, and charged me $260 for the diagnostic anyway. They wasted more than 6 hours of my time and a significant amount of money to tell me information I already had. They then informed me that the lights might come on again, and if they manage to find the problem the next time I go in, I might get my money back. That's absolutely not going to happen. They charged me for incomplete service and I have no guarantee the same ridiculous experience won't happen again. Save yourself the headache and take your car somewhere else.
Update: I called the manager and he said he would investigate and call me back. He never did. Their customer service is all lies.

I recently purchased a slightly used Honda CRV from this dealership and I wanted to share my experiences. Firstly, I was impressed by the prompt and efficient service I received from my salesman Ash Karmacharya. He answered all of my questions well and was very friendly but not pushy. He was even answering my texts about the car on a Saturday evening! I know that there are some negative reviews about this dealership but my experience has been extremely positive with Alberta Honda. I think the true test comes when there are a few bumps in the road and then you really see how this dealership handles things. The General Manager Aaron Ratsoy was very fair and honest to deal with. That meant a lot to me, especially when you are dealing with the second biggest purchase (for most of us) after your house. You want to be able to trust what they are telling you. The rest of the staff I encountered were very friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. I would not hesitate to recommend Alberta Honda to my friends and family.

I have just purchased a Honda CR V 2014. My experience with Alberta Honda was the best experience I have ever had with car dealers. My sales person, Bruce was of great help. He did not push me with any of my decisions and made sure that all my questions were answered. He also has a great sense of humor making you feel comfortable in dealing with him. I was extremely pleased with all the extras Bruce and his manager James gave me. They very friendly and made certain that they accommodate me with my requests with the extras. New Car Purchase

It has been some time since I purchased a new car and was delighted with my experience at Alberta Honda. Scott Park greeted us as soon as we arrived and was patient and helpful in explaining our different options. From the moment we arrived to the minute I left with my new Honda Civic, this has been an excellent experience. It's too soon to rate the quality of service but I can't believe it would be any different than what we've experienced to date. Fair deal on my trade in and clear and understandable pricing. Alberta Honda has changed

I recently bought a Fit from Alberta Honda and - I just don't understand their bad rating.

They did recently change 3 members of their management team and had all their salespeople complete some sort of training course. I'd guess they did that to address the previous posters' concerns.

There's nothing I'd like them to change the next time a customer with my preferences comes onto the lot.

I had been browsing online for awhile. The day after I went to a different Edmonton-area dealership and got a price quote Alberta Honda's sales manager contacted me. He mentioned the management change and when it happened.

This guy said if I came and had a look at one of his Fits he'd forego the vast majority of the profit on that vehicle. When I went in the sales manager came up to me and introduced me to Ash, the internet manager. One of them explained why it probably wasn't in my best interest to buy into an oil change package - and saved me $500 in that 30 seconds. Each person I talked to in the process was easy to talk to - something I value since I used to have major anxiety issues - and gave very detailed answers to the questions I asked.

My only concern about Ash is when I asked about fuel economy after picking it up and he answered in mpg, he used the imperial gallon rather than American gallon. This is significant - the imperial gallon's volume is 20.095 % more than the US gallon. So this led to a far higher value than it should've. I wasn't caught - I already checked the Fit's fuel economy ratings and mentioned it to him - but I had to wonder. Hopefully he just always quotes that using imperial gallons.

Still - much better than people at other dealerships.

My take is Alberta Honda is willing to accept a somewhat lesser profit for now to raise their ratings. If you plan to buy a Honda in the next little while consider Alberta Honda - maybe they'll offer you a better price like they did me!
