I want to give 5 starts and more to the service department!! Since I have been dealing with Calgary Honda the Service department has been consistent in providing excellent Service. I have dealt with Ashley on a few occasions and she is nothing but professional and awesome! The rest of the team is great as well. Also, I am impressed for once, when I booked my oil change appointment, I received prompt and flawless service. Since the appointment scheduling was transferred to a call centre I have had bad experiences enough so, I wanted to go to a different Honda dealership. It seems it has improved. My issue now stems with the Sales or marketing department. In the span of 24 hours (after my appointment) I have received 2 voicemails asking to fill out the survey and 3 emails. This is overkill. If you are confident in your products and service there is no need to harass people for their feedback.

I went to look at a Civic hatchback this week and had a horrible experience. I was happy to see they had 2 in the showroom with 0.9% financing stickers on the front windshield. They also had a nice display showing a selling price of $29,671 with a weekly payment of $92 given the financing rate for the Sport trim. This seemed great until they informed me that the rate was actually 2.9% and the 0.9% only applied to the sedan and coupe, not the hatchback with the sticker. Also the $29,671 isn’t anywhere to be found. Online the cheapest price is $30,971 without any options. Where did the other price come from? They said I can get one they had in stock for almost $37,000 after they added $7,000 in dealer options that would just make them more money. I’m sure there will be a dealer response to this review explaining the fine print of this and that but nothing was obvious and the show room was misleading at best and false advertising at worst. To make things worse the salesman had no interest in finding the car we wanted and just kept pushing things they had on the lot. Why do we support dealerships and sales tactics like this? Should customers be treated with respect?

I recently went to Honda South to get my maintenance and front brakes done. It turned out that I needed to get the brakes done on the day I wax going to see my daughter and granddaughter, who I hadn't seen in a long time. My dad was also very ill in the hospital. They got me in and out in an hour so I wouldn't gave to miss this important day and even discounted the cost!

We are VERY unhappy with the experience we had with the manager today at Honda on Lake Fraser Dr SE. We live in the far NW and had an appointment here to buy a car. We made an appointment to test drive this car and was planning to buy it. We arrived and was told that the car was sold to a WALK IN an hour ago. We were never notified about this sale and we wasted our time driving to this dealership. I am surprised this is the professional behaviour of a manager. We are VERY unhappy about this. We were offered $750 off another car but that is not the point of us going there WITH an appointment in the first place. We felt disrespected of our time money and will not recommend anyone to come to this dealership.

The service department got my car in on short notice, quickly performed the service, and even washed my car for me. I like the way they talk to the customer at our own level. I've been twice, and both times the service advisor was knowledgeable, and was able to understand that I am fairly mechanically inclined, so they address me as such. I also never feel pressured to undertake a repair, just informed.

We had a great experience with Dave Anderson when we bought our new CR-V. He was so low-key and no pressure - which my husband and I really appreciated. I definitely trust Dave to give me the honest picture about price and value in terms of what extra features we really needed. Dave was patient and helpful walking us through the purchase - we were first time new car buyers. He is very knowledgable about the product and the process. We had a bit of trouble with Angela in finance, she was hurried and curt and ended up making a fairly serious error because of it. She was also visibly annoyed that we didn't purchase her financial extras. However, Kane Smith was very prompt in dealing with this matter and we ended up feeling great about the whole process in the end. How companies deal with complaints is super important and I feel it was dealt with promptly and professionally. Thanks for our awesome new car! We LOVE it!

I was using this dealership to help me with a tire warranty claim with Michelin. I got in touch with Michelin who took all of my information and gave me a case number to use as a reference when taking my vehicle in for tire inspection of the premature wear. I was told that based on the premature wear, I would be given a discount of 50% on my replacement tire purchase. I went in and dropped off my vehicle at 9am, spoke with a service rep, and signed and agreed to the price of my replacement tires with the 50% discount and paying full price for install. I also sat with the service rep at Honda and phoned Michelin where this 50% discount was agreed upon by all parties and signed off before I left.

It is important to note that I also spoke with Michelin about the opportunity to get the tires replaced through warranty at Costco. I was told that Costco has a different process where I would have to pay in full and then I would get a cheque 4-8 weeks later for the difference of the new tires factoring in the warranty. I decided to take it to the Honda, and paid extra for the tires and the install as a result, because I could get the warranty cost discounted ahead of time instead of waiting for a cheque.

At 3pm after my vehicle had been in since 9 am I get a call saying that actually Honda will not honor the 50% discount and I have to pay in full. All this after they had my vehicle all day and I chose Honda specifically to avoid the added time of the warranty period at Costco, which I am paying a premium for. Needless to say, I am frustrated with the way this was handled.

For starters Ryan is the most amazing salesman, if you go there ask for him specifically because he was very helpful, down to earth and patient and never pushy! He got me the best deal for my trade in and worked hard start to finish on this deal. Shady sales people here.

We bought a 2018 Honda Civic from here in spring of 2018 under a 36 month contract @ 0.99%.

Just over a year later, we receive a phone call from a sales rep claiming that our interest rate has been increased to 10%! They then went on to question our credit history, asking us if all payments have been made on time. We pay all our bills on time and have no debt, so we told him that is absurd. In response, we were told that the only way to get a lower interest rate would be to buy a new car.

This is absolute garbage. We double checked our contract to insure that it was indeed a fixed term at a fixed rate. So their sales reps deliberately lied to us in an attempt to make a sale.

When we went to complain to the General Manager, he said that he couldn't do anything about it and that they have no idea who contacted us even though they have call logs.

These kinds of shady business practices is exactly what makes people distrust car salesmen. The fact that the management here protects these people makes it even worse. We will definitely never buy another vehicle from here again.

I bought my car here with the promise of free oil changes for life. Up until now that was honoured 100% and I was the happiest camper! When I called today to book, I was informed that they “changed the program” and told me my cost for a “B” service would be over $200! In order to keep on the program and get free “A” services I would have to do this every second oil change (you have to alternate). Super disappointed in this. It’s called “for life” for a reason.... I maintained my loyalty to their location for my needs despite them being over 30 minutes away from me... not going back any time soon. I have a Honda right around the corner for my car problems and can get an oil change for $60 bucks up the street.

Martin C is the best car salesman I have ever worked with. I purchased used a vehicle from Martin sight unseen. He went through the trouble to take photos and videos for me, communicated very clearly and honestly, and had no tricks or gimmicks. Upon arrival the vehicle was exactly as I had expected, and I was in and out of the dealer within 45 minutes! Martin was able to appraise my trade in vehicle, give me a fair trade in value, and get me approved for financing all prior to my arrival. There is a reason why this dealer is rated so highly.
