Went there to buy a truck and got a great deal. Dealt with Heather Lucas for the purchasing, it was easy, and she was friendly. They helped with getting it all done, and i didn't feel taken advantage of. Overall a great experience and i would go there again.

This review is from Alan Wood. This new Strathmore Ford has certainly improved in customer concerns. I could not believe how things have changed for the better with this new ownership. Carlos and Cody assured me they are doing things much different than what was done in the past. I would not hesitate in purchasing or having my truck serviced here . They told me Strathmore is a small town and they remember that when dealing with their customers. They have lived up to that idea and this veteran really appreciates it.

Let’s just say I was not expecting to be a purchasing a new vehicle until next year. I am so fortunate that my parents happened to take their vehicle for a service when they did - they ended up finding the SUV I’ve been wanting for months now. A Mazda CX-5. At first I was just planning on going to look at the vehicle and test drive it to see if it would be a good fit for me. Needless to say it exceeded ALL of my expectations. Not to mention the staff at the dealership. Particularly, Riley. He is the kindest and friendliest car salesman by far! Usually when a woman goes to a dealership with her father, boyfriend, or significant other she gets zero attention - but that was not the case. Riley’s attention was towards me and he really made it seem more like a friendship than a customer to sales person relationship. I'll be honest, I don't particularly enjoy Ford vehicles for myself, but I found a Kia on their website and the sales team brought it in from Calgary for me to check it out. I thought they were going to send me to Calgary instead so this impressed me.

I was originally shopping at a Ford Dealership in Calgary. I wanted a new truck at 0% interest and after 4 days of waiting for the Calgary dealership to give me an answer, I was told I could only get 3.99% financing.
Then I called Cody Strathmore Ford. He was referred to me by a friend. She said she loved the service they received from Cody while purchasing their new F-150. Within hours of going into the dealership I was approved for 0% by Oliver the finance guy. Everyone at Strathmore Ford is so warm and welcoming. Everyone introduced themselves and made me feel special. Cody and Chris the manager went out of their way to help me get the truck I wanted, and I ended up with a better price on a better truck than I was offered at the Calgary dealership. I recommended this dealership to anyone who wants friendly service. It was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made. I will definitely be going back for my next new vehicle.
Just made the trip from Saskatchewan to Strathmore Alberta to buy a 2019 Ford Escape Titanium from these guys. Riley went out of his way to get a video and all sorts of info to me in advance so we could decide if this was the vehicle for us. Once we made the decision and the trip there, we were impressed with how friendly and helpful Riley, Carlos and Oliver were. Never been treated this nicely at a car dealership before. When I first purchased my vehicle from Strathmore Ford I purchased a lot of extras. Including undercoating with free touch ups for as long as I owed the vehicle. I was concerned about the distance from the city (I live in Calgary) they assured me I would get either a ride or a loaner when my vehicle is getting serviced or worked on. They gave me a deal and I bought my truck. Everything went great for the first couple of services then they started denying me rides and the salesman had to give me a ride on his way to work in the morning so I could pick up my truck. I complained and they told me I could take my truck somewhere else if this was a problem. So I did. But apparently I can't get the touch ups on the undercoating done on my truck unless I take it back to Strathmore the dealer I purchased the truck from. This brings us today. They have been calling me about buying a new vehicle recently but I wasn't really interested but since I was going out there to get a touch up on the undercoating I said I would talk to them. The had a pretty nice f350 I was interested in that I took for a test drive. But I had to get back to town and they wanted my truck to stay so the undercoating could cure for the day so the salesman called their driver to take me home. When he found out where I lived he turned the vehicle around and took me back to the dealership and said they couldnt take me. Do they really expect me to stay their all day and do they really expect me to buy another vehicle after this. They make promises they don't keep.
Gord and Oliver went above and beyond to get me into my car! It was love at first sight with that little beauty. They were just awesome to work with and gave us the best service!! A great sales team. This is my second time buying here and I have zero complaints. Thanks you guys! I LOVE my car!!!
Seems to be lacking in effective communication processes within and between departments. Organizational skills in terms of record keeping, updating files, and utilizing customer files to support the provision of quality service, could all stand some improvement.
Edited review because I thought I should mention that the service advisor did make an effort to improve the experience when it came time to settle. I do appreciate his effort to make things right.

We got an awesome truck for an awesome deal so it deserved 2 star. There were a couple things wrong with the truck which they agreed to repair. One was a chip in the windshield and the other was it not being detailed properly upon purchase. We had to go there twice because the first time we went they didn't fix the chip. They also threw out one of our mats when detailing it and they still did a poor job. We went to visit family and the cold spell made the chip make a crack through the whole wind shield. This negligence costed them money. So the second time we went there, they had to replace the whole wind shield and they also re-detailed the truck. Since they threw out one of our mats they offered to replace it. Since they didn't have one when we were there the second time, they offered to send one out the upcoming Monday to us & they said someone would drive it to us too, which I thought was nice of them because we live 45 minutes away. It never happened, we have called and nothing. It's been 2 weeks and we still have no mat, and I don't think we will ever get one without going to buy one ourselves. They also filled the tire pressure wrong when doing their standard inspection, so I had to goto Kal-Tire a couple of days later to get it filled up a little.
I recommend getting vehicles detailed elsewhere because there was tons of streaks on windows and it's a horrible job for the price they probably charge. I also recommend purchasing a vehicle elsewhere because of these issues.
Edit: they finally gave us our mat, almost 2 months later

Have to say I’m extremely disappointed with the service, definitely not worth driving out here from the city to get the service I received. I had amazing service from Mathew Oliver and Micheal Brand. They let me try out many different makes and models of fords but I couldn't find anything I liked.
They showed me some other cars off other lots at other stores they also own and I found a car that's almost like my old one (but obviously brand new and 2019) they brought it out from calgary and I knew that was the car for me.
Worked with steve to get a decent financing price and took it home 1.5 weeks after stepping into the store.

My husband and I had some concerns initially when dealing with Strathmore Ford however Tim Dromarsky was very quick with returning an email and addressing my concerns. He immediately put us in touch with Tyler Lindsay, the Sales Manager. Tyler called shortly after we received Tim's email and we had an appointment set up with Tyler within a couple days of our phone call. Tyler was friendly, courteous and efficient with explaining all details. Tyler set us up with Mathew Oliver, a sales rep and from there we checked out various vehicles and the process of our vehicle purchase went forward from there.
Mathew was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He answered all our questions and if he was uncertain about anything we asked he was quick to look into our inquiry and then get back to us!
It was a simple and easy process and dealing with Tyler and Mathew just made it an awesome experience

I am blown away at the service I received here! You definitely would not get that service at ford in Calgary (believe me I live in Calgary and have dealt with a few different locations on occasion). I had gotten a flat tire right outside Strathmore around supper time and the mechanics had left for the day, so the sales gentlemen came to my aid and switched out my flat for my spare. Alas, my steering wasn’t quite right still, so I asked if I could leave it there to be serviced as I was heading to Brooks. Not a problem - they hooked me up with a loaner so fast I was on my way to Brooks in their loaner within minutes. I felt bad as this all went down right before their closing time, but the gentlemen were so friendly and so helpful, I just felt right at home. And my car was fixed the very next day! They fixed the flat and gave my car a needed alignment. I will be happy to bring my future car repairs to Strathmore from now on! Highly recommend this location for their outstanding service! Shout out to Sarah and the service department. This past long weekend I had an issue with an oil change from a few weeks prior where my oil was leaking. When I called to explain they took my vehicle in right away. It ended up being a mistake with a plug but it was completely taken care of. I am so happy that they didn't jerk me around and owned up to the mistake. It took a lot of pressure off of having a long drive up for work to Slave Lake that same day. I am so happy with the service at Strathmore Ford. I shopped around for 6 weeks looking for a edge, finally I found one here within my budget. I submitted a online form in the evening, the next day Jon MacPhee called me back, I mentioned not wanting to make multiple trips out to Strathmore as I lived Deep South Calgary and within a day and a half I went out, checked out the perfect edge for me, signed and drove away with my edge! Jon was so helpful in assuring I was happy, worked out a great deal and has even checked in to see if I was happy! I’ve worked with several dealerships in the past but this was definitely the best experience so far.

Talk about the best deal on a ford in the city of Calgary!! Even if I had to take a short drive outside of it. Really surprised with the level of service from start to finish. Not your classic high pressure car sales - "what do I gotta do to get you into this car today?" tactics.
They listened to what I wanted in my next car and while they did show me what they had (which is their job), they did track down my "dream" car for me. They didn't try to push me into the extra undercoating/scotchguarding and such.
We bought a 2013 ford explorer form Wayne it was a pleasant and pain free experience from sales all the way through to their finance department. They work to your schedule, my work days are 13 hours and I do not get off work till 7:30 pm both Wayne and the business manager stayed an extra half hour to get our paper work out of the way and get us settled into our new car. There was no sales pressure it was more of a how can we make a deal experience.
