Had a few questions about a new vehicle. I contacted the sales team via their website and was very fortunate to talk to Caelan Clemence. He is not only extremely knowledgeable but he also did not hesitate to share his personal experiences and suggestions throughout. Not once did I hear a "forced sales pitch" and he advised me to take my own time in researching what I wanted. Highly recommend Caelan to anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle. My brand new F350 was booked in for an oil change. I asked them to look at the rear passenger window as it doesn’t roll up after you roll it down. The seal needs to be adjusted and should be a quick fix. The back up camera also doesn’t work on the truck. There appears to be a bad connection in the harness. Both of these could be quickly addressed but instead the dealer told me I would have to book another appointment and leave the truck with them for the day. This will be the first and only time my vehicle comes here for service work. Another dealer will get all the business going forwards.

Thanks for the reply but you can tell your service manager Mike, not to waste his time. Based on the response I got from the service team, I would never bring my vehicle back here. Consumers shouldn't have to complain publicly to get good service. My request to have the window and camera looked at were ignored but after I paid for the oil change the service staff had no problem asking me to give them a 5 star review in the followup email from Ford. If I treated my customers like this I wouldn't have any. My family and I will never step foot in this business again.

A few years back I purchased a new truck from the team at Okotoks Ford. I had some challenges with comfort in the truck and Chad, Rory and the team went above and beyond to find a solution. In the end, I ended up needing to sell the truck - personal comfort, not a product issue. They made the process seamless and limited the financial impact.

Flash forward to this past week and my company now has a fleet of Ford trucks that require regular maintenance, usually on short notice to get them back working in the field. I started the process with Lisa and transitioned to Julie. They ensured the work was done on time and kept me updated throughout the process. Julie had scheduled vacation during the process and I transitioned over to Derrick who provided the same great service and updates. They have a wonderful shuttle driver, Sue, who is very friendly and drives exceptionally safe on the multiple trips from south Calgary to the dealership. To top it off, when I couldn't get one of the trucks picked up due to time constraints, they even delivered it to my home with paperwork in hand.

If you're wondering if making the trip to Okotoks is worth the extra 15 minutes, you won't be disappointed. Thank you to the team for being honest, courteous and punctual.

Avoid this dealership if possible. Went there last month to buy a used car, was looking for a particular model of car which only few dealerships had available. Had been looking at this particular model for a while and was convinced on buying it. Called ahead of time and booked an appointment to see and buy it. Was helped by Wayne over the phone and in person. I had no problem with price of the new car, in fact i was even willing to pay the $599 fee they said they charge for used vehicles for a 45 day guarantee or something along those lines even though I knew that was BS. For those reading this and who are not aware when you buy a vehicle you only pay taxes and amvic fees, everything else is optional and NOT mandatory as they claimed it to be. I was also honest and upfront about my trade in and the negative equity that I will have to carry over to the new loan. In short I had done my research and had got a loan approved to just go all the way there and buy the car for a fair deal. However when they came back with the appraisal of my trade in I was in for a shock, although I am aware that dealerships usually offer a much lower price for your trade in, what they offered me was a complete robbery. The price offered for my car was not fair to say the least, I went to another dealership in Calgary where they had a similar model of car I wanted with a similar price and they offered a reasonable deal on my trade in. The difference on the trade in value offered by the two dealerships was shocking. I ended up buying the car the same day from the other dealership.
I do understand that this is a business and not a charity but also people should know how they rip people off, specially in tough times like this. They could have earned an easy sale that day only if they were fair and not focused on maximizing their profit.

I had a leak from my rear diff on my Ford F150 Lariat which was showing on my driveway. I realized this is not an optimum time to take your vehicle in with what is going on in our society. However I work in Calgary and now working from home due to circumstances figured I would take it in.

The booked me in immediately and were very professional. They were a pleasure to deal with and completed the job replacing the seal in a very timely matter. Upon pick up my vehicle was completely detailed exterior and interior. My experience with them was terrible. My brand new f-150 truck had a problem from day one, I was always in to get something fixed. I took it for service about 2000 KM before my warranty expired, they told me nothing was wrong. After the warranty expired, I took it back in for service (6000 Km later) and was quoted over $7000 in repairs from Okotoks Ford. At this point I had enough with this truck and dealership. I took the truck to a different garage and had a $2000 repair bill. Only 1 of the 4 parts they told me needed fixing was actually broken. This worries me for 2 reasons: 1.) because they were incapable of diagnosing the issue and instead of spending the time just decided I would have to pay to fix all the seals out of their laziness, and 2.) it seems awfully strange the truck was now only a couple thousand kilometres over the warranty, needed $7000 in repairs.

I believe the staff in the service department are lacking professionalism and are directly lying to their customers.

I strongly suggest you do not service your vehicle at Okotoks Ford, and do not buy a F-150 eco-boost, especially from this dealership as they require way too much expensive maintenance.

Very poor customer service, lack of communication between departments. We just purchased our second car from Okotoks Ford. The first car purchased was not great with false information given regarding previous damage. But we decided to give them a second chance, only for the following: Car specs / pictures advertised was not the car in stock. Agreed deal included a remote start to be installed prior to pick up a week later. Arrived to find out it wasn't done, poor excuses given, but clearly they just forgot. No courtesy call to tell us prior. Just arrived to be told, oh yeah it didn't get done... This resulted in two more trips to the dealer, juggling family cars and being late for work twice due to the work not being completed on the first visit. The whole point for it to be done prior to taking possession was to avoid this! Legal name on the bill of sale was incorrect and not corrected even after an email being sent to advise them of the typo. Mileage on the bill of sale was incorrect and took us having to walk to the car to prove it to get them to agree to change it. Salesman just handed the keys over and said, "Its outside". Didn't walk us to the car, didn't take the time to show us how to everything works in the car. Service department wasn't much better. Every time we arrived to drop off the staff had no clue we were booked in. Pick up was worse as they had no clue they had our car and both times could not find any paperwork or the keys! Also no one knew how the remote start even worked and didn't have a clue how to demonstrate it. Was told there was no manual, but then after being pushed they miraculously found one. Very disappointed. Shame because we are due to purchase another family car in the very near future, it will not be from Okotoks Ford!

I would highly recommend making your way to Okotoks Ford if you are in the market for a new vehicle. As far as dealerships are concerned this one is top notch. Chris was easy to work with, diligent and never pushy. Obviously very knowledgeable about the product he is selling. Chris continues to answer my questions. The truck I ultimately purchased had a couple of minor blemishes on the front, Chris immediately booked it into the body shop to have it touched up. Plus, during this time Okotoks Ford provided me with an F150 Lariat loaner. It's the small things that go along way. Although, I didn't deal with Curtis as much, he provided me with a very reasonable trade on my vehicle. More importantly an extremely fair purchase price on my new truck! Rory, Mark and Matt were all fantastic to deal with! They did everything to find me the exact spec vehicle I was looking for and came through, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I had them install winter tires before the purchase which were very competitively priced and so far great quality.
The paperwork at the end was mishandled making it quite difficult to finish up and frustrating and I believe the sales staff has completely forgotten me as all the follow up they promised hasn’t happened yet. I recently was in an accident that had written off my car. I reached out to Curtis Thompson at Okotoks Ford about finding me a vehicle that would be the best option for me. Curtis and Jeff McLenehan found me the perfect truck in no time. They had me picked up in Calgary and drove me to the dealership to test drive the vehicle and go over its history. The truck was immaculate with low kms. Anne Harper in finance was amazing . She had me approved and set up within hours and gone the same day. Wayne Dary was also great to work with. He had the truck ready and cleaned for me by time the deal was done. I have been to other dealerships that have treated me poorly and took a week to do a deal and try to raise the price on every little thing. These four people I dealt with at Okotoks Ford went above and beyond anything I could have asked for .Even the staff that weren't assisting me were super polite and helpful.
After this experience I would highly recommend travelling the extra few km's to go and deal out here.

I actually started with a complimentary oil change at Quick Lane back then, when I received a coupon from Welcome Wagon when I moved to town in 2016. Very polite humans at Ford who explain everything in humane language and not tech jargon, really competitive pricing (I come for oil changes, tire swaps, purchased a few sets of new tires at Ford - and I do comparison shop before placing an order), not pushy with anything. I specifically want to mention Rachelle Ganske who has been pretty fabulous to me. PS I drive a Nissan, and will never again set foot in Okotoks Nissan dealership as long as I live - I had the absolute worst experiences there in my entire life!

Parts dept is a joke.... called Saturday requesting a quote for engine parts for a 98 F150 that you can't get from a Napa. Gave them an email to get back to me.
Didn't hear squat from them.
Called Monday, Call kept ringing at the dept, then back to reception or the automated gibberish for 5.5 minutes (I watched the time) until this arrogant guy answers the phone and within 30 seconds, tells me the parts are obsolete.... that's it.
Called Metro Ford and Dan there found that was true but pointed me in the general direction of a auto wrecker and a couple of aftermarket sources I can get those parts from in all than less than 2 minutes....

We have bought 2 vehicles from here, one used, one new. Both experiences were good on the whole. Rod our sales man was very attentative and really went the distance to get us what we wanted. I have since used the service centre for scheduled service and can also say that too was a good experience which is more than I can say about the Woodbridge service dept in SE Calgary where we had a not so great experience. All other members of staff that we met were all friendly, fairly knowledgeble about the product. I would not hesitate to continue to use Okotoks ford again in the future and since the new building has opened it now has a drive thru servicing which is great.
