It all started May 2019, trying to get my husband out of a lease with go auto. Vladimir contacted us about the truck we had and found us a 2018 F-150 lariat. Absolutely loved the truck. Chris in finance made it all happen and cut our interest rate in half with affordable payments!

Fast forward to June 2020.... got an email from the dealership wanting us to consider trading in. After a lot of back and forth and negotiating, we traded two F150’s and one F350 for a 2019 F-150 502A Lariat and a 2020 F350 xlt Dually. Both my husband and I got the exact truck we wanted , with interest rates cut in half again.

Two months later, after a horrible accident and our new 1/2 ton totalled, Gave Chris in finance a call. Informed him of what happened, and after two weeks of waiting we finally got our settle for the truck. Within Hours of letting Chris know what he has to work with and our budget, got us into a 2020 F-150 lariat , and again lower interest. Made sure that getting me into a truck was the last thing I need to worry about.

All in all we have bought 4 trucks from Waterloo. We have nothing but the best service with this dealership. We look forward to future deals with dealer ship.

Wow, skip this place and find somewhere else. Thoroughly unimpressed. My parents have been customers here for decades so it was the natural choice to come here for my first car. We purchased a used car that they said they put a lot of time and money into to be able to "certify" and resell to us. Time and money do NOT equal quality. Literally the day we paid for it the passenger side door handle fell off... sorry, but it seems logical to at least check the doors before letting it leave the shop? We then had to wait an extra hour for the shop to "tape it up" and "make sure it was attached" and "order the parts for it" before we left to ensure it stayed on. Of course, it fell off when I got home, and I was able to re-attach it in 5 seconds. They didn't do anything in an hour to secure it that I couldn't do.
Before buying it my dad also noticed that the inner fender liners were not properly attached despite all of the work they put into the car and warned them that this was a hazard should they get caught on anything especially in the winter, and should be an obvious fix as it is secured by a couple pins. Of course, they had to "order the parts" for it (it's been nearly three weeks, still don't have them) and of course, the inner fender liner fell off. Lucky for me I was not in traffic when it happened and I was simply turning into a driveway.
All in all I would not trust the quality of work coming out of this place. The sales staff are friendly enough but it does not make up for the hassles that could be easily avoided. Stay away if you are buying a used car. I think it's safe to say we will be going elsewhere in the future.

If you're looking for the best car dealership in Edmonton, this is the place! I have had experiences with several car dealers in the city and by far Waterloo exceeded them all. I had a lease with a big car dealership who charged me way too much interest for a car that doesn't value much and told me I might not qualify for a lower interest rate or even a trade in.

That's when Kim - from sales - came to the rescue! She couldn't believe how much I'm paying bi-weekly with my old car and said she could get me the car I want and deserve for that amount. True enough, she made it happen. I got a 2020 Ford Explorer Limited Hybrid for 1.49%, very opposite to what my previous car dealership gave me (nothing but Nos). From Kim, down to Catherine, Ray, and Chris in Financing, it was the dream team! Waterloo has the best teamwork and will go above and beyond for you. They'll help you get the best deal out of the car you deserve. Suffice to say it's a plus doing the whole process online and over the phone, especially during this pandemic, you never had to leave your house and keep coming back to the dealership each day to get an approval.Highly recommended!

I was contacted by Marni who apologized for the mishap with the shuttle, she was genuine and I appreciated that.

Upon picking my car up today all issues with the transmission have been resolved. Great work by the technician as car drives amazing now.

As a bonus Marni had my car detailed inside & out at no cost. Marni and Waterloo Fotd did the free detail as a good will gesture because if the mix up with my shuttle.

The long and short of it, I will be back and would recommend Waterloo Ford to my friends. These people genuinely care about their customers and take pride in the work they do.

0629-2020 My biggest concern was the fact that Waterloo does not appear to take this covid19 serious enough... neither the service advisor nor the driver was wearing a face mask. I thought with their courtesy vehicle that I would of been offered a mask to wear or the driver would of been wearing one as well. As to the overall service the advisor did not this time go over the service report with me-that's not the level of service I expected at all! I'm not too impressed..

I dropped of my 2014 fiesta for service. When I booked the appointment I also book6a shuttle home. I took an hour and 45 minutes for shuttle to arrive to pick me up.
I get it that it's a different world and they can only shuttle 1 person at a time but I would expect better then this it a heads up it would take alm62 hours to get a shuttle. I would have mad other arrangement and not wasted half my day off .
I will edit this review when I pick up my car and hopefully they get the issues with my car fixed so I can give a better review.

I’m a disabled Veteran who drove 14 hours to purchase a pre owned 2017 Ford F-350 from this dealership. The weather was cold so logically we didn’t use the sunroof until a month later at which time we found it has a common issue which prevents it from opening. A local Ford dealership confirmed the track which the sunroof rides upon were broke, a problem which Ford has service bulletins out for. I contacted this dealership about the $600 repair estimate for this fix and immediately got the run around when asked what their take was on sunroof. When I got upset because they chose to do nothing about this issue I was called an “extortionists” because I told them it will cost them a bad review and word of mouth travels fast. This dealership does not stand behind their vehicles as stated, I was never even contacted after the sale to see how we were enjoying our truck. I don’t think a disabled Veteran on a disability pension is an “extortionist” wanting a dealership to take responsibility for an issue which clearly should have been rectified before the sale. The truck was also sold with an open recall that was months old.

The second hand vehicle I purchased six weeks ago from Waterloo was not a Ford product (Dodge Grand Caravan) yet it had been completely refurbished. New brakes, Struts, all service maintenance, fluids, filters, new floor mats, and engine compartment and undercarriage appeared as if brand new. Inside and out the vehicle was spotless and ran perfectly! The sales rep (Ace) and finance officer (Arlene) let me take all the time I needed, and there was never a hint of pressure. About a month or two ago I got my first car a used Ford Focus hatchback. Now I was happy with the sales team and finance team and of course the car itself however when it came time to pick up the vehicle they didn't take me through it sufficiently and as a result I missed some minor rusting and paint flaking that I need to fix myself now and far more concerning, my spare tire was flat so when my tire got slashed by something on the road and o changed it trying to not use all my AMA services I had to call them regardless after changing the tire. It's super disappointing and this lack of detail is cause to second guess buying a vehicle from this dealership or at least double checking everything yourself to make sure they don't miss anything

We went in to look at a 2018 Honda Accord they had and we were greeted by Jacob. We had no plans of actually buying the car but then we test drove it and we liked what we saw. He went beyond my expectations to make sure i was completely satisfied even after I had taken the truck home. He is very welcoming and he genuinely wants to make the customer happy. Bad Service all around. I have a care package and I went in for a quote that should be covered by the package. Its like they are trying to run excuses until my care package does run out. I've called twice a week and they keep giving me the same excuses which are: 1. the employee who was dealing with you has been laid off; 2. the service department is now closed, leave a voicemail for the manager(who has never called back); 3. Your ticket was closed already for some reason (ok why?) I have been waiting for a quote for more than 2 months now. No one has called me back and every time I call they keep passing me around. I am so beyond frustrated! ... (PS waterloo ford if you are reading this review my name is Jillian Hopkins. Feel free to look up my file and call me back)........Someone has been in contact with me after this review but the issue is not yet resolved. June 7 update: Still no one has resolved my issues. I just keep getting lip service.

I called asking for a quote for a single halogen head light bulb for my 2013 Ford Edge sport and the guy stated that it would cost over $400. Meanwhile, 4 other Ford dealerships in Edmonton quoted me $50-90 each, varying from dealership to dealership. I stated again that I only needed the light bulb and not the assembly. He then stated that is how it comes. I replied that other dealerships could provide me with just the light bulb and how come they couldn't? He said that's the price and that's is how it comes. I definitely won't be going back to this dealership.

Wish i could give less then one star. Warning do not bring you Ford Prepaid Maintenance vehicle for service they will try to charge you for things that are covered under this prepaid program.

They tried to charge us $100 to diagnose a burnt out dome light bulb in a 2013 Ford Focus. We had come in for an oil change and a simple recall and mentioned that the dome light was burnt out as it is covered under this program. When we came to pick up the car expecting that it was all prepaid they tried to keep the car if we did not pay this $100 fee. This prepaid maintenance program has $0 deductible and as a Ford dealership you would expect them to be well versed on this product and I bet they are but they still see it in their best interest to try to get what they can out of customers. When we refused to pay they said "well.. how much can you pay?" as if they were just open to anything extra they could get. Also they keep putting the wring size wiper on the car like it's the first 2013 Focus they are servicing, the shuttle driver said 10 minutes over an hour later we called back to find out no one was on their way. Go somewhere else, it's just not worth trying to trust these people even if it's for work that's under warranty or a recall they will try to pad your bill and still try to collect something. I would not believe this happened if it had not happened to us. This is just bad business practices and gives other dealerships a bad name. Received a email form David Hennessy from waterloo, no apology and defended their $100 fee for "checking" a burnt out bulb and not change it. According to waterloo this is OK and normal to do. We disagree and this is what this warning is for.

And the bulb was not replaced and is still burnt out.

I'm more then happy to pay for work that is done, I'm not happy to pay for work I have already pre paid for in my financing.

From the service side I'd have to say these guys are the best of the best! Fast efficient and get the job fixed the first time! I don't trust just anyone with my vehicle, but I will defiantly continue to go out of my way to get my vehicle serviced here!!
