I arrived back in Calgary from out of the country on Thursday evening. After the extended cold snap my truck would not start at the airport. I tried boosting and had no success with that and after a 16hr delay got my truck towed here Friday morning. When i went in to request service they told me that it was a spark plug issue and that it would be over 900 dollars. I asked about a battery and he informed me that it wasn't a battery and the problem would be much more serious. I left them my truck Friday morning. Friday afternoon I called the quick lane at Cam Clark and asked if they would have time to put in a new battery that afternoon. The person couldn't guarantee it but as I live 150km away he thought they might be able to sneak it in before the end of the day. The guy from the service counter when he went to get my keys told him that it wasn't a battery problem.

Saturday I called and told them I will come and get my truck on Sunday and to leave me keys in the gas tank. I came down and put in a new battery and drove it straight off the lot. Your service department tried to take advantage of the cold weather to get a bunch of work I didn't need done and I am appalled. I specifically took my truck there because I purchased from Cam Clark in Red Deer and have had good service in the past The person in the quick lane was great (Tyler I think), he was helpful and honest on the phone, but the service desk guy was trying to rip me off the moment I walked through the door.

I will not be purchasing another vehicle nor will I be getting service done at your dealership.

I recently had my F-150 recalled for the replacement of a part. Due to the unavailability of the part upon receipt of the recall notice I was placed on a waiting list. Cam Clark was very good about contacting me directly once the part was available and arranged for me to have the part installed at my earliest convenience. I delivered the truck in the morning, they provided me with a courtesy ride home and also picked me up once the truck was ready early in the afternoon, complete with a fresh external washing. This is the level of service I have come to expect from Cam Clark Ford in Airdrie since I started to deal with them when we moved to Airdrie in 2000. I couldn't ask for anything better.

So basically our dealings with Ford helped lessen the burden in getting a new car.

I live in NW Calgary and am minutes away from North-Star Ford, but I much prefer making the drive to Airdrie and Cam Clark Ford. My vehicle was purchased at Cam Clark and their service and how they go about business is 5 star. They don't pressure you, and the service department doesn't try to cheat you into spending more money. I love the group they have at this dealership and if you live in the NW or North Calgary like I do and tend to go to North Star Ford, save yourself the hassle of dealing with them and bring it to Cam Clark. Took my F150 to Cam Clark Ford in Airdrie for routine maintenance. I mentioned that I have a speaker issue once in awhile but turning the stereo on and off fixed it so I wasn't concerned about having it looked at. The staff looked at it anyways and ordered a new speaker which I wasn't expecting.

Terrible customer service from their shop. Its been an ordeal, over 2 months since I took my car in and over three weeks since I’ve been able to drive. I’ve had to leave several messages with the service tech assigned to me and he never calls back. I talked to the manager the other day and she seemed okay, and that prompted the tech to call and leave me a message asking how they could make this better. Of course he doesn’t answer when I call him back and he ignores my message again. Stay away from getting any work done here, they obviously don’t care about their customers.

Service was slower than expected; I was told my truck would be done in 2 hours but after 2 hours it was still sitting where I parked it. Otherwise service was done well, I was given a nice courtesy wash, and the new wiper blades are really good this time. I will continue to go to this location. Bought a truck back in 2015. I was inexperienced in purchasing new vehicles so the sales staff did a fantastic job at getting as much money out of me as they possibly could. They used unique tactics such as telling me warranty packages covered a lot more than they actually did. Get a scratch? Bring it in we'll fix it! Stain on the seat? No problem! Want to protect your tires? We'll cover it! A month after I purchased it, a friend that also purchased a truck there found out that most of the things the sales staff said to us were lies! It was too late for us to get our money back so we had to live with our regret from purchasing our trucks from Cam Clark Ford.

I have been having problems with the staff at this establishment since I purchased my Vehicle. The vehicle itself has had no issues but when it comes to the staff and being lied to about what was included in certain packages, well that’s a different story. I was lied to about what my packages entail when purchasing the vehicle back in 2015, so when coming back to follow up on what was promised to me about these packages I purchased, I was always turned away. I purchased a package that covers the interior of my truck from stains and burns, but when getting a stain, I asked to get it cleaned but was once again turned away. I then proceeded to argue with the manager and he confirmed that the stain will be cleaned. Why do I have to argue in order to get what was promised to me in the first place? They also changed my oil but accidentally over filled it and had to get my truck in their shop to be fixed but refused to give me a loaner vehicle, even though they caused the issue. They even told me all scratches would be covered on another package I purchased but when getting a scratch and trying to get it fixed, they told me it only covered rust. Now I have two separate packages that covers rust. I was even told by a sales person that at the five year mark I should key my truck and get a free paint job (If it’s too good to be true, it probably is). I paid for a package that I was told every two years bring my truck in to get looked at. I did that at the 2 year mark but was turned away saying they didn’t know what I was talking about. Two years after that, I emailed a manager regarding a separate issue I was having and we came to the conclusion that I should have come in on the two years and get my undercoat looked at, to which I told Justin Menard I did not receive an undercoat EVER. Justin did not believe me and told me to bring my vehicle in to get looked at and the mechanic even said I never received an undercoat, even though I paid for it. I’ve been going back and forth with multiple people at this dealership about how I was lied to about my packages but the best they have offered is to sit me down and go over my packages again. The thing is if I was explained what these packages ACTUALLY included I would not have gotten them in the first place. I even came back within 30 days to get some packages taken off to which they told me I would lose most of my money on them. I was later told if I cancelled those packages that day I would have gotten a full refund. The pressure the sales people make you feel when selling the packages is too much and taking ownership for their mistakes never happens. DO NOT BUY HERE!

My experience with Cam Clark was and has always been good, but my truck is a 2018 and I've had (to any rational person concerned with quality to price) more than expected recalls. So yes the experience with your business establishment was good, but my reasons for needing to return as many times as I have is why 4 stars. Sure it isn't as if you are causing the recall issues, but as a dealership your request for a higher quality vehicle that won't keep needing to be recalled over issues that were either overlooked or poorly executed.
You might not build the vehicles but you sell them, missing parts or the risk of electrical fires is still a defective product and that's sadly on you. If my work holds me accountable for my mistakes then shouldn't the consumer hold the supplier accountable for selling a defective product that can only be accessed through them, the dealership?

Again dealing with the dealership is always good and easy but the reason I've had to keep coming back is because of recalls on the product you sell.

I have been ford customer for more than 3 years. I took my Ford Edge Limited to Mr. Ed Wan. He showed no interest in selling me any car. Instead he offered me $3000 for 2009 Ford Edge Limited. Seems like ford doesn't stand by their own vehicles. I sold this SUV to other dealership for $10,000. Thanks to Mr. Wan for letting me go to Toyota. I would never buy Ford again.
