I will never go back to GM ever!!! I was a customer of GM for a long time. My family were GM ownersfor 50 years too.... but Schwab took the cake!! I had been to several dealerships where they really try hard to rip you off... I had hope Schwab wasn't like that... and for the first 4 years they were good...but this happened..These people do not stand up and accept that they do something wrong, even i it destroys your vehicle! Took car in for servicing and they didn't put the oil cap on right, and so for hundreds of km's I drove with the oil cap spitting oil out which caused the pvc valve to blow and crack the crank case cover I believe it was... anyway, they repaired it, but charged me for it, and on top of that charge me not only to diagnose the probem, but also for a break inspection...which was supposed be a 100 point inspection to find the issue... and was supposed to be charged less....when I complained, they told me to go to head office and see if they will cover it under the warranty that expired a few months before. I wanted all my money back and they refused. Then they offered to give me half back and I had suffered losses because of the time I had to deal with this, and wanted the whole amount. I decided that I might have to sue them. I talked to legal counsel who advised me to go back and offer to them to accept the half back as they offered in order to mitigate damages. Schwab said no, offer rescinded. .. so now I am forced to sue them! It's despicable that they cannot accept when they have made mistakes and caused damage and can't own up to either.
Amazing what a dash cam at a dealership will pick up!!!!!
If I could rate negative stars I would.
Wouldn’t let them touch my little red wagon as I don’t think they could handle fixing it.
Go in for a tire wobble and they try strapping down my buggy whip flag for work and taking it for a test drive…… wrecked the hook and scratched my sports bar… best part it was the shop foreman.

Recently purchased my used 2016 Chevrolet Cruze. The entire process was painless! Sales were very educated, my vehicle still had the warranty oil changes left. I also got a great rate through Finance! I recommend Schwab Chevrolet if you're in the market for a new vehicle.
I brought my truck in for an oil change as it had under 20% oil life. Upon the Schwab service department doing the oil change they gave me a receipt and sent me on my way for $94.45. Once I was home, I saw on the receipt *ENGINE OIL LINES LEAKING*. So I called, and Shawn advised that he would look into it. I was given a call back later and indeed I needed to book another appointment to get the engine oil lines fixed. So I booked another appointment for the warranty work to be done. As I was dropping my truck off for the warranty work, I was told by the service department that there was many items overdue for work on my truck. Transfer case fluid, Front and Rear diff fluid, injector cleaning, a multi point vehicle inspection etc. Also, the tailgate latch striker fell out and I needed that fixed, which I was told was not covered under warranty. Shawn advised that this work needed to be done. I figured I should get it done since I was pondering selling the truck. Well, I returned to get my truck later that day and paid the bill. $644.26. I checked the owners manual and none of this work needed to be done at 55,000 km, which was my odometer reading. I paid almost $750 for what should have been an oil change and some warranty work. If you want to be upsold unneeded service items, go to Schwabs service department. The ONLY benefit was my truck was done same day, which it should have been since all they did was "flush lines" and "clean injectors". I sold my GMC truck two days later privately, and bought privately as well. I will never support a dealership again, and I especially won't be bringing my new truck to Schwab GMC. I have been taken to the cleaner too many times by these scam artists. Please be warned, and do your homework if you are going to bring a vehicle in to the service department as their main values are dishonesty and greed.
Extremely disappointed. Showed up at 4:22pm for an oil change only to be promptly told to leave as they close at 5 and cannot accept any more customers for the day .... OVER half an hour until close and they could not accept any more customers??? There weren't even any other cars in front of me (other then the 2 currently in the bay) ... Not to mention nowhere on their website does it state the service department closes at 5, the only times online state the dealership is open until 6pm. Must be nice to be able to turn away customers in this economic market. I will take my business elsewhere where they will appreciate it
I had an amazing experience getting my new truck here! Aaron Peterson made sure it was quick and easy. He really knows his stuff!
Felt very welcome. Friendly staff. Smooth process getting financing done and the sales guy Jean Schaub was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend to my family/friends.
I had a one of the most seamless and enjoyable experiences purchasing my new truck from Jean and the staff at Schwab Chevrolet. They were professional, efficient and took the time to find me just what I needed. I will Definitely be returning there for my next vehicle.
I bought a cheap vehicle and was treated as if I'm buying a luxury truck :)
The team was great, especially Aaron Peterson (sales) that helped me get the price I wanted, and all with a smile.
Great job delivering an amazing customer service experience, from an honest sale process to having the vehicle fully inspected, detailed, and topped up for me.
Thank you
I can't state enough about how comfortable I felt buying a car at Schwab. John the salesman, Shawn the used car manager and Mike in finance were all extremely helpful without any pressure. Almost felt like talking to my neighbours. John bent over backwards to ensure I had everything I needed and quick to answer any questions. Mike was fast and thorough with the financing. In all, they made it very easy to deal with them all. I recommend Schwab highly.
This dealership has the best service and I would gladly recommend finding your next vehicle here or servicing your current one. A+
What a great Place. Everything about it makes me keep going back. The staff is so great to deal with! Best Chevrolet store in Edmonton and area

Bought a brand new GMC Denali in 2018. Was told by salesman the truck would get detailed which never happened. Today go in for the 4th oil change on the truck. When I bought the truck the salesman stated 4 free oil changes. Well the truck was purchased in June of 18 and now its September of 20 and guess what. I went over the 2 years. Never once was told about this. The young lady who took my payment explained the process. I’ve purchased 2 brand new Denali trucks in 3 years. Going to try a Ford next time I believe.
Quick and excellent service! Service dept are awesome!
"Broke down south of Dallas " helped me out when I needed them. Just happened to have my part on a Saturday.
Great bunch. Bought many vehicles from here over the years.
Great experience. I was looking to buy a truck and the service was amazing. Fast response and very honest. I totally recommend this dealership.
During these Covid times, it was hard for us to order a truck when we needed it. Luckily i found what i was looking for at Schwab's. Us being from Airdrie, everything was basically done over the phone and the experience was still top notch.
From Nicole's lightning speed phone answering (sometimes i swear it didn't even ring!) and positive voice every single time, to Mike(Finance) doing everything he could for me to get a deal done and Tony(Fleet) for reaching out to his contacts and building an add-on to the truck to my specs. Honestly, everything was top notch and i appreciate the extra mile everyone went.
I went up there yesterday to take a look at the truck(after i bought it), Ran into Chad (Lot manager) and asked him where the truck was on the lot. He was more than happy to take 30-40 minutes out of his morning, grabbed the keys and showed me where the truck was. He then proceeded to walk me through all the options and specs of the truck and showed me the ins and outs.
These are good people who work here, i appreciate everyone! I hope we can do business again in the future!
-Joey
Owner
They definitely don't appreciate people's business....cold and callous staff!
Had my van stolen last year, when stolen they painted the driver door. Like who does that?? And cut are oil lines. Anyway brought it in and they did a amazing job. A+ coming back in the future.
I accompanied my daughter and her boyfriend as she was looking at buying a new Chevy Blazer. After a good discussion with Sylvia, my daughter realized that the Blazer wasn't the right fit for her. Upon Sylvia's recommendation, she then took another vehicle for a test drive, loved it and bought her first new car! Sylvia took the time to talk and understand what she needed, assessed the situation and got her into a vehicle that best suited her. I 100% recommend Schwab and Sylvia Lis who made buying a car into a great experience!
Took my truck in for a recall, was helped promptly and was quoted a 2 hour wait but ended up being within the hour which is always a nice surprise! Staff are friendly, not over baring. Clean, cool, friendly. Solid 5 stars
It appears the vehicle I purchased from Schwab Leduc was in a former accident even though the report supplied said no. The unit was hit from behind and had been white glue repair in the spare tire compartment, with measurement markings and arrows near the latch, wiring was changed and a rear light was so I replaced it.
Also, was not impressed with the return visits, and too many problems with internal systems, including Schwab had two files on one vehicle which caused major confusion. I know allot about vehicles, as I was a part time service mechanic and worked in a variety of places when I was a young man and student including worked on my own restores and repairs, the level of workmanship is lower than toyotas is and lower than what I expected from a certified shop. Bought this for my wife,, now im feeling sorry I did bought a chevy. A list of deficiencies form the certified inspection report checked as passed.
Great place, great people working there. Amazing customer service. Left very satisfied with my new car.
Trevor is always a great guy to work with. Darryl Schwab is a great owner
A last minute call to Schwab Chevrolet Buick GMC with break issues and they were more than happy to resolve the problem with my vehicle right away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone
Went in looking to buy a new truck. Sat down and they tried to sell me it for more than listed online, then claimed pricing is different online. The offer they produced also included a price for my trade (also a GM sierra), so long as they can look at it. I brought my trade out another day from 45 mins away. They said yes, the value they offered is fair. I bargained, wanted running boards and a tonneau installed for the price they offered, since they already marked it up more than they would sell it for. They said no.
A few days later I asked what the cost for the truck would be with accessories at their pricing and they refused to give me a price, since they no longer valued my trade at the price they originally offered. I had shopped around at other dealers, obviously getting different deals on similar trucks from different dealers, some offering more for trade, some less, but at the end of the day, offering the same built truck for basically the same final payment. Because other dealers offered different amounts, they claimed they can't offer the same amount anymore.
Not to mention, during a miscommunication about asking what the price for accessories would be, the salesman was rather rude. I was willing to look past it since I'm not looking to make friends, I'm looking to get the best deal on a truck possible. But pulling the trade value on my truck by almost 4k, after they had already looked at it and made an offer, along with the rudeness, and offer over the advertised price online, I would advise staying away.
Side note - offering SO low on a GM extended cab 4x4, while trying to sell me another GM, doesn't look good on your own company, because you are basically admitting the overpriced truck you are trying to sell me is going to be worth nothing in 10 years. Not exactly a strong promotion to buy a new 50K one.
Look elsewhere, don't be taken for a ride
Very excellent experience at Schwab. The service staff are very knowledgeable and explained fully what was done to my vehicle. It was done and ready for pick up as per the time they said. Very satisfied.

Great Staff in Service Dept. Have been treating me well for many years now.
Good people to deal with and the mechanics do a good job . I had my vehicle serviced at Schwab GM since 2010 I'm satisfied with their work . I highly recommend them .
Great place to bring vehicles for oil changes and to look for a new vehicle! Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.
Best GM service in the country! They have went out of their way to solve our service needs on more than one occasion.
Worst express lube service waited in line for over an hour and a half, finally some one came out and said I had to move because they lost track of who was first and the other bay still had five minutes left so they wanted to shuffle the cars around. Would not recommend them unless you have a weekend to kill.
Schwabs Service Center has been my go to for maintenance and repairs for several years. They are always quick to diagnose and get back to me with fair and accurate quotes.
The technicians at the service desk are polite and professional and demonstrate the experience and knowledge that I look for in a service shop.
On several occassions I have had my vehicle back on the same day. 11/10 would enthusiastically recommend Schwabs to anyone and everyone.
Went here once had good service, however I have explained to them twice now im not from the area and to stop calling me for maintenance. Was a dealer id recommend but after the constant phone calls i no longer recommend this business.

Amazing what a dash cam at a dealership will pick up!!!!!
Go in for a tire wobble and they try strapping down my buggy whip flag for work and taking it for a test drive…… wrecked the hook and scratched my sports bar… best part it was the shop foreman.
Summary
I wouldn’t even take bike there to get the chain fixed.
-bent hook/broken and glue I had to remove from tape on my buggy whip
-wasted my gas
-treated like dirt by Teribble Tarra
- spent 283$ at a non-reputable company to gain no info about anything at all
- had my truck joy ridded at 133KM on the highway and lights and accessories played with
-turns out my truck has a failed toe and camber. But who knows if that’s really true….
-has some weak sauce rim cleaning ?
-truck slipped on lift ? damage anything? Who knows….
- never got a quote about the red break covers like I had asked for
-found out that there is poor service at this location
-turns out that the dash cam wasn’t a waste of money and I will be buying one for my car next.
Into the back bay: lifting the vehicle that the lift had slipped a bit and dropped the vehicle down. (the height was not much, I doubt it was enough to lift the vehicle but it still made quite a clunk and enough movement for my motion sensor on the camera to pick it up. Which prompted the mechanic to say “C*nt *ucker”.
Next Road test: this road test is longer than the one I had with the shop foreman. Now this one I almost fell off my rocker. Did I mention that my camera captures speed on it as well. On the highway (Posted limit is 110) I have my camera recoding him at 133 KM an hour at one point…… it is the shop foreman either with another worker or driving. The camera didn’t capture who was driving.
Parked at the dealer: To my surprise the shop foreman is at the back of my truck looking at my sports bar, and then decides to vigorously wiggle my buggy whip on the back of my vehicle… and I know that it is an industrial looking truck. But the bracket that is holding the buggy whip is not meant to be wiggled side to side that aggressively. And I mean he was not gentle with the process at all. What does my buggy whip have to do with any of this? Why is the shop foreman messing with this? Why is he opening my tail gate? At this point I have so many questions. Does he really think the buggy whip is shaking the truck ? is he just wondering how it is installed? Doe she really want to bend and break my hook that has the whip secured down? Ops turns out he has bent it amdn made the custom hook loose now. Thanks for that….. so after playing with my buggy whip flag like a little boy who discovered his junk for the first time. He walks back in.
Truck pulled back inside: I see the shop Forman bungie cording my buggy whip of my truck over to the side, bending it on the stationary hook that should not be bent that much. My mind is blow seeing this man taking bungie cords together and pulling the whip to the side of my vehicle. Not only that. He electrical tapes the bungies. My mind is blow, I am mad. I cant believe that they would even be messing around with my buggy whip on my truck. what is the reason behind this, it is not meant to be bent like that and especially not to be bent like that while being hooked down.
Test drive number 3 with the whip strapped down: Then he decides to pull over under an overpass and undue his mess that he did. Did he think that would fix a wobble in a tire? I have so many questions. Is this man senile? Not only has he bent the hook of my buggy whip, he has also scratched my sports bar with his ghetto get up and wiggling!
Pick Up: deal with Tara Sherman. At this point I had not seen the video of my vehicle and what it has been through. But I could not believe how rude she was to me. I asked her what the engine light was about. Quote” I was not back there doing the work so I don’t know” I said did they not check the history on the log for the codes (they have done it before and I know they can do it.) “Well I guess they didn’t do that” in a snarky way she replied.
My fiance and I recently purchased a car from Doug Cale at Shwab. We originally phoned about a car we saw online and Doug answered all our questions. He had everything ready for us when we got there the next day(we traveled a fair distance). He was friendly, accommodating, fast helping us get our test drive and all the paperwork done in a short time so that we could return home the same day. I would highly recommend Doug and Schawb Chevrolet Buick GMC for your next purchase.
We would easily and comfortably give this company a 5 star rating! From the minute we came in, until the minute we drove our new vehicle away, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We were greeted with a friendly greeting and treated like our business is important. Although this should be common, unfortunately now in days, it is not!
We have a young family and even our children experienced a welcoming environment and very friendly staff.
Since purchasing, when we have went back for any reason, it has continued to be a great experience and top notch service in the service department.
Thanks Schwabs for being so good to us with fair negotiating, excellent service, quality product, and awesome ongoing service post- purchase!
Jean worked hard to help us find the new truck we were looking for and gave us a great price! I will definitely be going back for my next vehicle.
Recently I brought my truck in to get repaired ,they replaced my transmission and replaced my front diff seals changed ,picked up my truck drove to work once ,parked it for week ,drove again to work ,stopped at a crosswalk and started to drive and notice a clunk coming from underneath my truck I got home and crawled under it and notice all the transmission crossmember bolts were loose the nuts were only on hand tight ,one bolt was missing ,I only put on 200 km I’m very happy we didn’t go on that long trip with my truck and the crossmember falling out on highway 2 ,I contacted Shawn and he would let Trevor know about ,in morning the next day , I’ve waited 3 days now and haven’t herd anything yet ,I’m very disappointed ,and will not be bringing my veichles in for service any more ,it would be nice to here back one day
This is the 3rd vehicle I have bought from Schwab in the last 7 years. I didn't step foot into the dealership. I did the credit app online, Mike in finance brought the financing papers to me at work in Nisku and Sylvia had the car delivered the very next day by noon. The whole process was quick and stress free!!
I had my truck serviced here and they hands down have the best service department I've ever dealt with. They're very patient and knowledgable with any questions or problem you have. Tara Sherman was great to deal with probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Highly suggest coming here for you service if you want friendly staff and quality work.
Bought a car here Apr 2019. Jean Schaub (sales representative) and Brian (sales manager) are awesome.
These guys are honest from start to finish, so you get no hidden fees, no BS and don't waste your time. They also don't try to upsell you on features or a higher model you may not want/need. Highly recommend this dealership (and I wish I got paid for this review!).
We just wanted to share our recent experience working with Jean Schaub! Our son purchased his first car from Jean and he was a pleasure to work with. He provided what was promised and met us at the dealership when it worked best for us (even on his day off). Highly recommended!! Thanks Jean!
The wipers on my 2009 pickup quit on my way to work. They were stuck halfway up the windshield and it was snowing. I went to Schwab hoping they could help me with no appointment. I spoke with Tara and she was very helpful. She got my truck looked at very quickly. The tech that fixed my truck was Dustin and he was great. He explained what happened. Because of these two people this is now my go to dealership. Thank you very much for the great service.
Sales or Tony is awesome Five Stars, But service is questionable. I took my 2015 GMC in for some warranty work. While it was in there I had them do an oil change. All was well until they had phoned me to pick it up. They stated they did a tire rotation as one was due. I automatically asked them why as I had just rotated them myself. The front tires were a 2/32 larger than the back so I rotated them accordingly. I asked him if the slightly larger tires were still on the back. He said he did not know and had to call me back. When he called me back he never had an answer to what happened only that the larger tires were on the back. After I picked the truck up the paperwork showed that the front tires were 4mm larger than the back and a tire rotation was recommended. The measurements they stated on the documentation was not even close to what was on the actual tires. It was obvious they never actually measured the tires on the truck as I checked them again once I got home. No sure what was going on but when service was asked all they could say was they were not directly involved and didn't know what happened. They didn't charge me for a tire rotation but would have if I didn't question them.
Sales team is OK. The service department is terrible.
I have bought three trucks from this dealership. Tony was my feet sales representative. He went above and beyond to assist me during my purchaser. I factory ordered a new GMC truck and it was delayed for months because of a problem on GM Canada's end. This was a problem because I sold my trade privately before my new truck arrived and didn't have wheels. While my new truck was in transit and Tony lent me a nice used truck from the inventory for two weeks until my new truck arrived so that i wasn't left stranded. Excellent service over all to go with my experience not just the sales and management team but from the front reception to the parts and service departments.
I had my passenger side lower hinge go. I took it in and they replaced it no problem...but the door didn't line up and wind blew in my cab. I came back talked to the a guy behind the service counter about it 10 minutes after I got it back and he said he would have it looked at and fixed right away. 20 minutes later I was told it was done and my to my surprise it looked exactly the same. When I confronted him about it being in the same condition he said "it's supposed to look like that, its a shingle effect." I said it made no sense and my other door lined up and he said "your other door is wrong". He proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot. I had to argue with him for 10-15 minutes before he said he would make another appointment to have a body guy look at it...but it might cost me. I proceeded to lose my shit. I could only come in on weekends and the body guys don't regularly work weekends. About a month later they finally fixed my truck after they "fixed" it the first time.
The staff at Schab are very professional, knowledge and extremely helpful. I dealt with Sean Simms in particular and was very happy with his work and attitude. I would highly recommend their services.
