We took our vehicle in for servicing only to find out that we actually didn't have an appointment - turned out to be our error not theirs. The service staff were gracious and polite and came up with a plan so we could get an oil change and quick diagnostic check done to see what was going on. I was in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time and had the answers I needed for a very fair cost. Thank you, service crew!

Great experience

We met Courtney shortly after 6 pm on a Friday. We had a good idea the vehicle that we were looking for, and Courtney showed us a 2014 Trax 1LT. AWD
After she went over the features of the vehicle and both my wife and I sat in each seat, Courtney offered us to take a test drive. My wife drove first and was impressed with the ease of handling and that the seat and steering adjusted so well for her height. I took over driving and found the same as it fits me well for being my size.
We discussed the features further and in the end decided on the Trax 2LT. AWD

We are impressed with the feel of the vehicle both in the city and on the highway, and after 700 km we are averaging 7.4 Litres / 100 km.

Dan was awesome, really worked to get me into a vehicle I wanted. Explained everything in detail and made sure that all questions were answered before I left. I must say this was a great experience. I have bought from a number of dealers, but this is by far the best experience I have had purchasing a new truck. My service advisor, Jordan Jones, explained everything very clearly to me, so even with my limited understanding of engines/vehicles I was able to get a clear picture of the issues. Jordan also kept in constant contact by phone and text at every step of the process, so there were no surprises. Excellent service tech! well I could probably wright at least two paragraphs on Davis but I will try and keep it as short as possible. I'm not going to lie, our first two experiences with Davis were less than pleasurable, but being new to Airdrie we were not sure where else to take our GMC trucks. After the second not so great experience I decided that it was time to talk to Brad the service manager. After talking to Brad he assured me that they were completly at fault (a rarity these days) and he informed me that it would be disscussed at their next staff meeting and that I would be compinsated. A week later I brought in my other GMC truck for service and was treated amazingly.
About a month later I had my check engine light come on on my 2011 Dodge one ton. I took it to the the dodge dealership and was treated like a number and was told that they could get me in the following tuesday ( a week later for a 5 min scan)! I needed to haul horses in two days and needed to know if my truck was ok to haul. I took a chance knowing that Davis is a GMC dealership but thought that maybe they could do the 5 minute scan that Dodge apparently didnt have time to do. Mark (the service staff) was on it. He told me he wasn't sure if his reader would work but was at least willing to try....he was able to receive the information and reset my truck. These guys have gone above and beyond to provide great customer service and made efforts when needed to rectify any complaints/concerns.

This was vehicle #5 for me from this dealership, second vehicle since it has become Davis Chevrolet.
I am a pretty hardnosed guy and always believe there is room for improvement but Davis Chevrolet is getting it right!
This experience I am sharing below is of my latest purchase of my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ with GFX package. She's a beauty!

5/5 on customer service:
The entire team was great to deal with. Eunice went over and above with customer service making sure I got into the right vehicle (I changed my mind 3 times....heck I would have given up on me. ) She was patient, is extremely knowledgeable about the products she is selling and if she doesn't know something she finds out for you, trust me I always have A LOT of questions…. Glen and Jeff closed the deal, again very knowledgeable and I found them very personable and pleasant to deal with. Lastly Rick stepped up to the plate and had my best interest in mind. Thanks team!!

4/5 Quality of work:
A bit of the hard nose coming out of me here. I had a box cover put on the truck, the drain tubes were installed so the water was exiting inside the box.... I need my tools to stay dry, having the drain tubes exit on the inside of the box kind of defeats the purpose of having a cover if you are going to just drain the water into the box anyways. I bought a few plastic elbows and I rigged up a drain system through two of the plastic caps in the bed. Problem solved. Secondly, granted it was raining but I would have liked to have seen the truck detailed a little better when I picked it up. Again little things like removing the blue covering on the white lettering on the wheels. Trivial yes but I was brought up if you are going to do something right, do it right or don't do it at all.

5/5 Friendliness:
Does anyone ever have a bad day at this dealership? If they do you would never know it!
I dislike when dealerships pounce on you and push you on the hard sell. However I don't like walking around on a lot for 20 minutes and not being greeted. It's a hard balance and Davis Chevrolet has it just right.

OK so here’s the deal. Car dealerships are the enemy right? You must fight it out, battle to the end! Or do you? Is it wrong to have had such a pleasant experience?
Seriously I don't think I have had a more pleasurable experience buying a new vehicle than I did with my latest purchase.

4/5 Price
Davis Chevrolet will probably be disappointed with me that I did not score them a 5. But if I scored them a 5 they would not work to improve in this area. This will affect me in three years when I go to buy my next new vehicle from them, see how that works :-)
