Quick Look

With a redesign by Dodge for this new model, the 2016 Dodge Charger is anticipated to catch a lot of attention with its looks and of course it’s power. Dodge has also added in extra modifications to the designs to help the vehicle get more up to date.

Full Review

The Dodge Charger is one of the Dodge’s most popular car. With this vehicle being one of the spotlights on the hit movie series Fast and Furious, everyone wants to get behind the wheel of one of them some point in their lives. With extraordinary popularity and stellar performance from its engine and handsome looks both outside and in, the new Charger is grabbing a lot of attention from people when they announced their new 2016 model will be redesigned.

How would Dodge make the Charger look any nicer with the already amazing-looking car? There was a lot of pressure on Dodge to really blow everyone’s minds away with these new designs, but they did it. The all-new 2016 Dodge Charger is absolutely great with its new designs. The most noticeable changes are the new indents and lines done to the exterior look. It gives the car a sportier look than before which is an absolute perfect complement to the powerhouse engines it offers. They kept the grille the same design as the previous model, which is probably because it is the same design they use for most of their models. The headlights have been made up to date with LED lights on both the headlights and tail lights. The Charger has the same build to it, which is like a box-shaped vehicle, symbolizing the strength, power, and toughness it offers to its drivers. Dodge has done a great job in making sure they don’t lose their initial designs made on the vehicle, but altering the small details making it that much more handsome.

Taking a look at the interior looks we can see the style of it is very sporty. This is evident through the design of the steering wheel, seats, and front console. They make sure all of it is comfortable which is necessary in sporting events. Making sure the driver’s hands, and view of everything inside is very important when aiming to go for a sporty look. In terms of space, with the box-build for the car, the interior has a lot of leg room, especially for the front seats. This just adds on to the comfortableness for drivers which is very important for drivers who appreciate what the Charger has to offer.

Under the hood we can see Dodge uses a 3.6-litre V6 engine which will be able to push around 300 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for its base model. With this engine, the fuel economy is the best in its class requiring about 7.4 litres per 100 kilometres driving in both the city and on the highway. Another engine they will be offering with this model will be a 3.0-litre twin turbo V6 engine which will be able to push about 390 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The best part is, this isn’t even the most powerful engine they offer. One of them will be able to push just over 700 horsepower! This will be offered by the 6.2-litre Supercharged Hemi engine.

The 2016 Dodge Charger is absolutely exceptional and will be able to yet again bring in a lot of sales for Dodge and garner more market share, as they have been in the past with this model. It is definitely a vehicle everyone wants to take for a spin at least once, which is why this new model has gotten a lot of buzz.

Power and Performance:

As we said at the start, the new Charger will feature a few new engines and the base model will come with 3.6 liter V6 naturally aspirated unit. This will be able to provide around 300 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque with a combined fuel consumption of around 32 MPG which make it one of the most economical engines in its class. Further up we’ll see the 5.7 liter V8 be replaced with what will probably be a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 that will be able to provide around 380 to 400 horsepower and as much as 400 lb-ft of torque. The most powerful engine in them all though will be the 6.2 liter Supercharged Hemi with just over 700 horsepower that will be sold along the smaller but equally impressive 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 with just over 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.
