A Car for the City: The 2013 Prius C

The 2013 Toyota Prius C was built to appeal to young urban consumers. In order to appeal to
urban consumers this car has a contemporary design and is sporty. It is also fun to drive and
has a lot of room to hold your stuff. Not to mention that it has outstanding technology such as
Bluetooth capability and satellite radio. There really isn’t anything not to like about the 2013
Prius C.

In many ways the Prius C has a sharp figure. It has an outstanding front end with projector style
halogen headlights and a rear spoiler and sculpted rear flares. Overall it offers a unique fun-to-
drive personality with an advanced drivetrain and engaging driving dynamics.

The 2013 version is lighter than the original Prius. The exterior has been crafted to allow for
plenty of room on the inside. Headroom is ample both in the front and rear. Thanks to a lower
beltline, getting in and out of the Prius is easier than ever.

This model gets outstanding fuel economy in the city. It gets 3.7L/100Km for combined driving.
The Prius C gets outstanding gas mileage by using a downgraded version of Toyota’s hybrid
senergy drive. It features a smaller 1.5 liter, 4 cylinder engine. The battery is so small that it is
mounted under the rear seats. The system produces 99 horsepower which isn’t a lot. You will
definitely notice its lack of power when driving.

Despite its small size, Toyota has retained outstanding functionality. The Toyota Prius C has 17
square feet of space in the trunk.

It comes in a variety of colors which include Alpine White, Moonglow, Classic Silver Metallic,
Magnetic Grey Metallic, Black Sand Pearl, Absolutely Red, Mandarin Orange Metallic, Summer
Rain Metallic, and Blue Streak Metallic.

The Toyota Prius C also has an eco-score system. This system compares your previous drives
to how your current drive is effecting the environment. There is also an eco-savings system on
the higher trim models which will tell you how much you are saving in fuel. On the higher trim
models you will have access to the Bing search engine and much more.

The wheels are near the corners which gives it an aggressive-looking stance that results in a more
mobility. The tires are 15” steel wheels on the Prius C. When you purchase the premium package
you get 16” alloys with wheel locks.

There are a number of outstanding high end features available for it. Some of the features include
Power-Adjustable Heated Mirrors, Fog Lamps, Smart Key System, and a Power Moonroof to
bring the outside inside.

Overall the car looks stylish for a car that isn’t high grade. The 2013 Toyota Prius C is a unique
car for urbanites that starts at $20,440. It may not have a lot of power, but makes up for it in

fuel economy. For a car in its class it is extremely comfortable and offers many features that will
improve your overall driving experience.
