Nissan has reintroduced the Pathfinder as a crossover for 2013. It has been a leader in the market for over the last quarter century. However Nissan has introduced a redesigned version with an upscale design and improved fuel economy.

The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder offers a three-row interior. This model allows seven passengers to travel in style. The Pathfinder boasts excellent headroom and legroom and reclining third row seats. When driving the all new Pathfinder you get an all-around view using four separate cameras. Each camera was designed to allow the driver to see various sides of the vehicle. The cameras were placed with one in the front grill, two in the side mirrors, and one in the rear. These cameras make driving and parking easier. They help to cut down on accidents and prevent owners from backing into something and nicking up the vehicle.

Nissan has done away with a V8 engine they used before. Now the Pathfinder features 3.5 L V6 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. It has 2,267 kg towing capacity. In the city the Pathfinder gets 10.5 L/100km and 7.7 L/100km on the highway. This is an increase of 16 percent over the previous model.

The base model of the 2013 Pathfinder starts at $29,998 and the platinum edition will cost you $42,098. This model is eight inches longer than the previous model which gives you more room and makes it more comfortable to ride in.

Driving is more comfortable with the redesigned Pathfinder due to new features. It is much stiffer. The new model weighs 500 pounds less which improves fuel economy. With smoother driving, you will love this model. The ATC for the 2013 Pathfinder gives you just the right amount of power. It doesn’t drag when climbing steep mountains, which makes it perfect for your next sporting adventure in the Rockies. Best of all is that it offers superior off-road performance which is why it is a favorite of sporting enthusiast. Despite its new design, it has not lost its focus as a vehicle for campers, cyclist, hunters, and mountain climbers.

This vehicle allows you to switch from front wheel drive to all wheel drive. Drivers can put it in front wheel drive for everyday use and switch it to four wheel drive when they are going off-road or in the winter. Another feature is the all-wheel drive lock. With this feature you won’t have to worry about any resistance to switch to front wheel drive on its own.
