Very disappointed with my visit there....Had appointment with general manager....set for 2pm....he called me that same day to push back to 3pm....no problem.....when i showed up at 3pm sharp I was pawned off to a salesman....mu understanding was that I was to deal with the general manager via my contact with the owner.....I had been a patron of this dealership and was hoping for some consideration in negotiations.....this where things went south.....finally got to speak to GM ......first thing I asked him if we could converse in english given my wife ....which was present ....is American and is mostly anglophone.....even though he admitted that he could...but didn't accommodate.....secondly during this period of pandemic he did not have the courtesy to wear a mask....even though it is mandated......the vehicle I came to see was simply spray washed......mine was completely detailed......both vehicles were compact suv's.......his suv was misrepresented.....it was an awd version i did not want that , but was open minded even though the ad did not mention it was awd....he said it did....when I got home I checked the printed version and I was correct......He said he paid over the max top end for his vehicle on trade in....in spite of the vehicle needing a full brake job......he said his price was the lowest of any vehicle in the whole province ....it wasn't.....and yet he was only willing to offer me the low end of trade in value on my vehicle......a vehicle with low mileage....new tires ,new mags, remote start.....bottom line a slew of added value accessories......It is his prerogative to do as he pleases.....but what I expect is to be treated with respect and not be gas-lighted......I came in very prepared....

Very unfortunate , because I was a willing buyer.......the same day I purchased a Honda CRV.....pleasant experience....

Bottom line I will never set foot in Cowansville Toyota again.....and as well not refer them......

I have been to many Toyota's and they were okay, but yesterday for the second time I went to the Toyota in Cowansville and let me tell you that from the moment you walk in, you get greeted with a big smile and a hello. The staff is so great that you feel at home. The staff is very courteous, friendly, patient, professional and very helpful. Lies,lies, lies,, Me and my boyfriend are from Montreal and we went there to buy a used car today. I really needed the car this week so we arranged a visit at cowansville. As the salesperson mentioned, the Toyota Matrix 2011 is super clean!and Extra Extra clean . We trusted him , we both took half the day off to go see the car. the salesperson, Christian mercier, forgot to mention that the whole windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced before we can actually drive it. Not only that, the brakes also needs to be replaced as well. this is horrible for salesperson to do. If I really liked the car, I would pay from my pocket , to repair the windshield and brakes. Good try , this place is terrible , all lies , just wasted our time

Purchased a 2010 Toyota Rav4. A toyota salesman sold us the vehicle, which was originally from the mazda dealer right next door. During the test drive we noticed some knocks. The toyota salesman told us the vehicle need new front shocks, and the breaks where at 30%. He stated that that was the only problem with the Rav4. We decided to buy it, trusting that was the only repairs needed. After bringing the car home, the next morning the check engine, ABS, and anti slip lights came on. We called the Toyota salesman back, informed him about the car, and he told us it was sold as is, there was nothing he could do for us. We believe the dealer reset the computer, erasing the lights on the dashbored until after a sale has been completed. We had 2500$ in additional parts to be repaired, not including the labor cost.
Originally decided to buy a pre-owed car from a dealer, thinking we wouldnt have these hidden surprises pop-up the day after you bring the car home. Guess we were wrong...

Although I have not bought a car from this dealership (I live in the Monteregie) I did plan on going one day next week with my husband. I am very much interested in the two-tone 2019 Toyota Yaris hatchback. After reading these awful reviews however, I would be crazy to make the drive there and give them my business. With salespeople like this, its no wonder they have such a bad reputation among customers. I gave it a one star without even going because I had to put something down to get this printed. Reading the other disgruntled customers comments, this seems like the only option I could leave.

I was really happy with the sales service when I bought my new Prius 2 years ago. Since then, things have gotten less ideal. If you're booking appointments, you need to do so about a month in advance.

Last year, my Aquapel on my windshield was applied incorrectly and therefore there was a constant hazing effect in the rain.

This year, I called for a tire change and was offered Nov 30th. When I asked if they could do it any earlier, they said they could do the 28th. I asked about simply picking up my tires, and suddenly it could be done the 21st.

As snow is arriving sooner than that, I called back today to inquire about picking up my tires. Now suddenly they could do it next week if I was willing to leave them my car all day.

Not impressed with the new system, which is a shame as the service was previously excellent.

Before the sale, we could easily get in touch with the salesman Daniel Cote. He would call us right back for every question we would have! After the sale, it was extremely difficult to get a hold of him. We were promised that the car will be well detailed in order to clean the dog hair. We even stated it in the contract that the interior/exterior cleaning has to be made prior to delivery. We had to make a complaint to his boss in order to get it done. And his boss attitude? He said : what do you expect? It's a 2014? With his attitude, no wonder his employees don't give a damn to satisfy their clients after sale. We also bought winter use tires, one of which has a clue in it! We paid 400$ to fix a little bump on the top of the car and two touch ups on the hood. Obviously, he forgot about the two touch ups. Clearly, I wouldn't recommend this dealer.

J'ai acheté ma première voiture (usagé) à Cowansville Toyota en août dernier, croyant avoir une bonne offre devant moi.

Malgré le fait que je payais comptant et qu'ils m'avaient indiqué un délai de 24h, cela a pris beaucoup plus de temps que prévu avant d'avoir ma voiture.

Au moment de l'achat, j'ai appris que je devais payer de mes poches le double de clé (plus de 100$).

Un mois plus tard, je constate qu'ils avaient mis de la colle pour réparer "l'enveloppe" du bras de vitesse. Aussi, le caoutchouc autour de la portière du passager ne cesse de se décoller. J'appelle pour demander si c'est possible de réparer le tout, on me répond que non, ce n'est pas couvert.

La voiture (2012) venait avec des pneus d'hiver. Lorsque j'ai changé pour des pneus d'été dans un autre concessionnaire, ils m'ont fait remarqué que mes freins arrière étaient usés à 70% et que je devrais les changer bientôt! Pareil pour les pneus, car j'imagine que le gars qui louait la voiture roulait avec les pneus d'hiver même l'été.

À peine 3 mois après l'achat, la rouille commence à apparaître dans le cadre de porte de la voiture, dans bas. J'imagine que l'ancien propriétaire jouait au golf et conduisait avec ses chaussures de golf, car j'ai trouvé plein de balles entre les coussins arrières de la voiture (leur service de nettoyage avait oublié de passer là ça l'air). J'ai aussi constaté, en levant le tapis sous les pédales, que le plancher était vraiment, mais vraiment usé! La voiture n'a que 40 000km et je sens que je vais bientôt voir des trous apparaître.

Bref, je considère qu'on m'a caché plusieurs choses sur la voiture que j'ai acheté et qu'ils n'ont AUCUN service après vente.

Définitivement, je n'achèterai pas ma deuxième voiture à ce concessionnaire.

So I pointed it out to him and he pointed directly to the Canada wide 500$ discount that everybody gets and said that was the tires, I called his bullcrap. The tire amount, when he printed it, was nowhere near that spot or amount. Sneaky little punk knew exactly what he was doing, he's been there 7 years. Too bad in 2016 and all the prices on the internet we still have to deal with this slimy behaviour.
