I tried to negotiate for a 2018 RAV4 sight unseen (just by Viewing a listing) and was told that you don’t negotiate prices because people don’t like to haggle. I was stunned by this, but was still interested and actually made two separate offers via email without ever having seen the car so I decided to drop by to inspect the car in person. It wasn’t there. I was told to drop by later that week, which I did with the same results.
I left my name and number and after a week, “Crickets”. The car was listed on the site for $25,798.00 but I went back to see if it had been removed, the price went up to $26,328.00. Really? This is how Yorkdale Toyota does business? I’m not happy that I couldn’t even see the vehicle or even have a legitimate offer Entertained, but to now hike the price by $530.00 is absurd. I will be telling my colleagues about your dealership for sure! I’m not happy.

Yorkdale Toyota had fantastic customer service, it was hassle free, no pressure and they were very accommodating - we did not have to sit and chat with the salespeople ad nauseum like we did at other dealerships. We told them what we wanted they set up a test drive for two vehicles and accomodating me and my whole family. We were trying to compare the Toyota Highlander with the Honda Pilot as there is a common owner we were able to test drive the Pilot first and immediately test drive the Highlander to compare. The dealerships were very accommodating. I would definitely use them again and refer other people to them.

Worst place to go and buy the car. Booked an appointment with a girl name Maliha. No knowledge of sales and not professional at all. I am asking for the best price that the dealer can offer. But she asked me for my offer, when I give her the offer. She started asking for my driver's licence and credit card and telling that if toyota finance say yes to the price then we will charge you $1000 right away and I cannot shop around. We have to buy from them. Avoid the advisor.
I have been going here for sometime now. I stopped going here because they rip of customers.Whenever you want to repair something or fix about your car.I realized that they charge customers too high compared to small mechanic near you. Yesterday was another example of rip off that that I need front breaks, rotary & the pads to be replace. They required $820 to get job done.Then I Went to Midas and get it done all $486.I was thrilled.
A year ago, the same Midas has done my 4 tire and the alignment for only $689 where This Toyota asked me to pay $1600.Do you what I saw. It is up to you. But I gave my honest and unbiased opinion.Get a second opinion.that is why they lost me forever.
I find the service charges, which rack up all too quickly and without any proof shown, to be dishonest. Came in for a tyre change, ended up paying $340 for alignment and an alleged tyre puncture - which was never shown to me. Also prior to coming in for service, some guy just butted in in front of me to pay, and the dealership employee just let him do it! Wait times are also ridiculous here.
I went to this location and the customer service offered by Angela was amazing! She is really knowledgeable and passionate about her job. Took the time to explain in details about the car, its options and giving me the different prices etc. Unfortunately, I went with another car due to my budget.

Very bad experience ... I bought a vehicle for 8 thousand, used car supposed in good condition, at two weeks I took it to verify why it showed engine noise, so they said it's fine ... but after three weeks and only a few kilometers I have to invest in the repair of the vehicle ... I thought they checked their second-hand vehicles better. So I do not recommend this place to buy a used car, so expensive and the warranty is only one month ... it is better to look for a place where the warranty is at least 3 months or over 1000 km of use it

No other place is good enough for an oil change like Toyota. They shuffle bused us, had coffee and a car wash . Overall I am happy. I bought my car here at the beginning of the year, service was great, sales man was very helpful, we need it to go home and he offer to take us and he did. He made us the day and help a lot, as we forgot something important to pick up the car. We have been taking our car for service there, and it was good however, to replace a part it took forever, they said 3 weeks but it took them at least 6. You can book your appointment online. On Saturdays they just do regular services. They offer you the option to take you to your place if you live close by or to Yorkdale if you want. Also, they wash your car after the regular service.
This dealership has very friendly staff in general that are committed to customer satisfaction. Haris oversaw the sale of my vehicle and was very engaged and transparent every step of the way. He reached out and made himself available outside of office hours to go that extra mile.

This was the first time I did business with York dale Toyota. It was possible due to the nice and immensely helpful Pre-Owned Product Advisor Wei Wei , whom I met there during my first visit. I bought a 2014 Toyota Camry, which was fairly priced. I dealt with Wei Wei, who was very humble, honest and friendly and tried to work out the best options for my car. She delivered on all her promises. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

This was my first time doing business with this company. My initial communication was with Chelsea. When I spoke with Chelsea I immediately felt that my business mattered. Chelsea directed my business to Hakeem, Sales & Financial Advisor.
Hakeem was positive and confident in helping me get the vehicle I was interested in. Hakeem did a wonderful job and ensured I was satisfied. Hakeem was very professional and stuck to his timelines. All the paperwork was prepared before going in for a test drive of this vehicle. That was amazing considering I was traveling from outside the city .
My experience with the used car Sales Manager Alfredo on the day of picking up the car left a bad taste in my mouth. At the handover of the car there was only rubber mats inside the car. This was brought to Alfredo's attention and his response was not professional. The response was one of accusatory. At this point I was uncomfortable and felt my business didn't matter. Hakeem stepped in and went in search of cloth mats for the vehicle but Alfredo beat him to this and delivered cloth mats for front and back floors of the vehicle.
Mario did a good job on washing the vehicle. Very pleasant and professional young man.
Remberto was very helpful and ensured I left satisfied and happy.
In the end an overall 4 stars. In business the customer is always right and professionalism is to be maintained always especially in communication.

I've had various maintenance and repair services handled by Yorkdale Toyota -- all have been good experiences. I'm writing only now because of one particular experience that inspired me to write this and give 5 stars. The service department couldn't solve an electrical issue with my car. It required me to visit the service centre several times. Long story short, when general manager James was made aware of the challenge, he resolved it kindly and professionally. How somebody takes care of their customer in the end is what it's all about. Thank you.

Sales team is super friendly. I worked with Marion for a great deal. He is very much a guy that loves cars, even if they aren't Toyota. He is a no BS salesman and he works hard to help you. Even called me at 8pm one night to tell me my car was in and ready... And all I was thinking was... I thought you were off work 2 hours ago.
Victor introduced me to my new car and gave me all the info I needed. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer and the only improvement would be if he came as an accessory on the vehicle.
Lastly Bilal and Simona helped introduce me to the great team and helped me through financing. Simona was very sweet, yet super knowledgeable and quick. Overall the staff here works so hard and is helpful from the beginning to the end of the car buying process. Highly recommend buying here.

I had a very negative experience while shopping for a used car at this particular dealership. Mr. Muhammad who was my salesman was very pushy and unpleasant to deal with. Out of several pre-owned 4 year old Toyotas, I picked one that was the best looking from the bunch. I wasn't completely comfortable with it though because although it drove fine, it had several scratches all over the body, worn out winter tires, and most importantly it was not an Ontario car that came from an Atlantic Province and then went to Quebec for auction, where this dealership bought the car from - which I found kind of shady. I tried to negotiate on the price, and we sort of managed to agree on something, but he kept using sleazy, rude, unprofessional, and downright offensive sales tactics that I did not appreciate ("I'm already squeezing my manager's balls by showing him your offer" "you have to sign now, tomorrow morning another manager will be here and he will never agree to this" etc. etc.). All of this was said in an attempt to get me to sign right away, as he didn't want me to let another family member come take a look at the car next morning. Everything had to be rushed, and done immediately, because you know, buying a $13,000 car is like buying a hat after all :S I said I'll think about it and left with a bitter taste in my mouth. Moreover, this man also had the audacity to call me at 9:15 in the morning on a SATURDAY! And for what? He said he had some "important" news: he was going to give me a better deal. When I got over my initial irritation about my whole family being woken up on a weekend morning, and I asked him what that better deal was? You know what he answered? He answered with the same number that we had already tentatively agreed upon the day before. There was no better deal here. He was just trying to push me some more. When I said no, he told me that I was being "Unreasonable". Top notch professional customer service right there. I wonder where they hire their Sales reps from? Bus stops??? Needless to say, I hung up on him. I will never set foot in the door of this place EVER AGAIN. I went to another dealership, where I was treated with common courtesy and respect without being pushed into signing for a car I wasn't completely comfortable about.
Mr. Muhammad was very rude, pushy and offensive when trying to sell me a used car. He actually said, and I quote, "I am squeezing my manager's balls by showing him your offer." How can you speak to me like this in a professional environment? Who let him work there with that attitude towards customers?! I was so offended by that. I am a salesman myself so his tricks didnt work on me. His level of sales knowledge is like 'kindergarten' compared to the sales techniques that I know. He used very sleazy well-known used car salesman tactics to get me to sign right away. By the way, their used Corollas are not in good condition at all! One of them was such a heavy smoker car that it smelled awful inside and had cigarette burns all over the drivers seat! And for such a high price! Many of them had scratches all over - some of these scratches were so deep that they went all the way through the paint! Some were being sold with almost bald winter tires. I was very offended by going there and I will not return.

He made the process very simple for us. He is very friendly and explained all the terms and conditions, pros and cons in a way that was easily understandable.
