I had (1) spark plug changed because I could not remove it without possibly braking it. I was charged a very high cost ($78.00) for a 10 minute service fee, plus a new plug. I found this far excessive in pricing to remove one plug. Jackson Toyota stated the cost would never have been as such, and would have done the work for the cost of the plug w/labour for $25.00 or less. I find Pembroke Toyota's servicing fees are far to excessive. I'll go elsewhere for service.

A huge shout out to Gwen and team! I started looking for a hybrid Rav4 in late February. I reached out to 8 dealers across the GTA, Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. Every sales person said that there were no hybrids available for 6 months to a year! Except Gwen. She said she could get one in 6-8 weeks. She asked me to give her a few days, and sure enough, she did! So I obviously bought from her! She went above and beyond, in every aspect. She kept me up to date and answered all my questions in a timely manner....even on her days off! Not one other sales person even attempted to locate a hybrid for me! And I got the exact one that I wanted!
So here I am 8 weeks later, very happy with my new vehicle....and excited to start saving money on gas!
My dad just purchased a pickup from you and hasn't stopped talking about how great the service was. Excellent communication throughout the process of picking a truck, honest review so he didn't waste his time while he was researching. My mom and dad drove 6 hours to buy this truck. You gave them an excellent price on their trade in. They left tools and an air compressor in the back of their trade in but didn't realize it until they were back home, 6 hours away. On their drive home they also realized something wasn't right with the air conditioner. Legally you didn't have to address either thing, but instead Purolated them a check for the repair and his tools and compressor.

I bought 2 cars there and I always had an amazing service. Gwen Fiebig was the salesperson who sold me my 2 cars, she is always available to answer our question and she give a really good service. I highly recommend them to buy a new vehicle.

Buying a car during the pandemic is really challenging, but it was made so very easy by Gwen, who was so very helpful, listening and suggesting options for what I was looking for. She went over and above in making my new car warm and welcoming on the coldest day of the winter, and even washed and switched the plates from my old car to the new one.
I was also very appreciative of Amanda’s expertise in the accounting. She clarified all the details, which I really appreciated.

Thank you Jeremy! I managed to lock my keys in the trunk of my car....along with all the families Christmas gifts. I tried and tried to open the trunk but could not get it open. My keys were locked in the back and my trunk does not open without the keys. I called Petawawa Toyota and told Jeremy my situation, after he finished work he came over and spent 2 hours getting my trunk open. Usually my experiences with Petawawa Toyota are quite decent, they have a friendly staff, always go through what they did when it comes to maintenance and clearly defines what the appointment is going to look like as far as timings are concerned.
Today that all changed. Last week I took one of the mechanics for a drive in my Tacoma so that he could experience the problems I am having first hand. I was advised at that time to set up an appointment to have the vehicle looked at again. So today I bring it in at 7:45 am and advise the service desk to e-mail me when the vehicle is ready for pickup or if there are any questions or concerns. At 2:00pm I call the service desk and they advise me the vehicle is ready.
When I go to pick up the vehicle they tell me that in all of their efforts they were not able to replicated to problem, which is why I had a service person sit with me and experience it. Surely out of all the vehicles like mine, someone else in North America must’ve had this issue. So I look online and find out that what I experience is common in the vehicle. That there are steps that the service tech could have looked at but failed to do so, instead they reset a computer and said let us know when it’s happening again.
Today cost me $150 to get no further ahead with my concern. I don’t know if this is industry standard but maybe next time actually search the internet if you are at a loss of what could be the problem, instead now I am out $150 and received literally nothing for it. Thanks Petawawa Toyota.
I called in October to book in an undercoating inspection (required by the warranty) and was scheduled for Dec 6.
With this I planned my Christmas leave around the appointment to start on the 7th when I would leave the country.
When I called in the morning, they told me it was a bad day due to snow/slush and that I should come back later. I explained I would be out of country for 2 weeks and had booked this over a month in advance and said I didn't mind the wait if it took more time to check.
I got the same response at the counter and was told I should have done the check in the summer. I couldn't do that as I was deployed until October when I called the first time and was on leave until Nov 16. In order to not void the warranty, I would have to do the check this December.
You shouldn't be made to feel like a burden when attending an appointment that they booked. The staff should expect snow/slush in a Canadian winter and it isn't reasonable to ask me twice to reschedule, especially after I explained the hard timings now built into my calender around this appointment.
This is the first experience I've had like this at this location but it left an impact.

I bought a 2021 Highlander before Christmas 2020, for my wife's 40th birthday, which is just after Christmas. It was to be a surprise for her. Doug Moore went above and beyond, delivered it early morning as promised which was actually a Sunday! Needless to say she was extremely pleased.
Upon us privately selling her 2013 Camry to a difficult buyer, Marc Lemire in service was quick to schedule a service appointment to inspect the car. That particular day all phone lines were down in the area. Marc took it upon himself to use his personal cell to reach out and explain everything.
In world where customer service is a thankless job and mostly full of complaints, one must remember no one/company is perfect. Thanks for making our experience a pleasant one.
I recently traded in my Subaru WRX STi here for a Honda Civic. All of the staff, ESPECIALLY Heather, Jess and Steve were very friendly, easy to work with, and gave me a low price for the Honda off the bat so there was no need to negotiate a price. They did all of the admin related to the trade in for me, had the car detailed and gave me a new set of tires to go with it. All in the span of 2 days! I can’t recommend this dealership enough. Service is great usually, staff are friendly, nice building. Take our Rav4 there for service and spend a pretty penny to get our new vehicle inspected by the book from the manufacturer dealership. I was a little shocked to see the coolant reservoir below low when receiving our vehicle back. Even though it was checked off on the inspection. I generally do my own service on my older vehicles but since our rav4 is a 2018 and still had warantee I thought I'd leave it to the pros but I won't be leaving it to them again...

Just bought a $50,000 truck from Petawawa Toyota and already having trouble. I went for my maintenance appt and had to sit in the wait room for an hour because they couldn’t let me borrow a vehicle.
I don’t recommend Petawawa Toyota to anyone.
I had a serpentine belt fail on my Dodge Ram. I know... not a Toyota but on the Saturday before Thanksgiving they were oppen and I was stalled in front of their dealership. They welcomed me in and despite not owning one of their products aquired a new belt for me and diagnosed a more serous problem with my truck that only the local Dodge dealer had parts for. They charged me a more than reasonable price for the work they did and apologized for not being able to do more!
